Field House

They always keep me updated if there is a delay. Most of the time it is actioned immediately.

My grandad has been here for 1 year now and loves it. He is always talking about how nice the staff are and how they treat him with respect.

The care staff seem very attentive and helpful my sister seems settled where her room is better now she's swapped rooms.

My dad seems to be happy with all staff and the home is always clean and tidy.

I cannot rate this home highly enough!

The team were so friendly, very accommodating and Dad didn't phone me once! He has asked to stay next time I'm away. I couldn't wish for more, they really did a great job.

My dad has been at Field House for just over 12 months and is very settled and well looked after. The staff are amazing they are very caring and ensure all residents' needs are met. We are kept informed of any issues/concerns. I feel we are able to speak to staff and raise any concerns. The staff do not just look after Dad they're part of the extended family and only want the best for each resident.

He has been a resident since July 2023 and has settled in very well, treated at all times with kindness and dignity and cared for in a safe and homely environment. The management and staff are first class and go above and beyond at all times, truly working as a team to ensure all the residents are happy and comfortable. He looks forward to the varied daily activities, or just to be able to spend time on sunny days in the fabulous grounds. As a family, we cannot praise Field House highly enough for the care and compassion shown to all the residents and for everything they do to make Field House their home.

The staff are very kind and caring. As a family, we have decided that she should stay here and she is very happy about that.

From the resident entering Field House, he was accepted with the utmost respect and dignity. Wonderful staff, care and the stay for him was so good. Just for me to know I need not to worry each day and night, as everything was ten out of ten.

To someone who had never visited, or had much to do with the care home, it was extremely worrying and frightening to have to leave a loved one there, all be it for a short respite stay. But, what a surprise! Field House was welcoming and all the staff were kind and helpful. The food was good and there were many entertaining activities for those who wished to participate.

Although my brother and sister-in-law have only been at the home since the end of April 2023, I cannot praise the staff and the people who come in to help enough. They have made them so welcome and have improved so much since being here. I cannot thank the staff enough they now join in with activities and sit with the residents. I had to bring them here from Spain where they had lived for twenty-eight years so it was all a very big upheaval for them but Field House made them and myself so welcome. 10/10 keep up the good work.

My father received superb, loving and attentive care at the end of his life. All the staff were consistently kind, patient and good-humoured. Even when they were obviously busy, attending to the needs of other residents, they found time to say a cheery "hello" through the doorway. Thank you, Field House for all you have done for Dad.

The most beautiful setting for a wonderful home my dad is so well looked after and everyone here are so kind and caring! Nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful rooms, stunning gardens, lovely food. I would highly recommend it and when my turn comes I would happily come here.

Staff always welcome me when I arrive. When I'm able to visit during the week, fabulous activities. Care home very clean, no smells. Management easy to speak to.

Looked after my relative very well. Difficult to start with when my relative was settling in. The food was very good and my relative had no complaints. He feels he was looked after very well. The family have had no issues with the care our relative has received and all contact with staff members has been polite and friendly. Our relative will miss everyone! Thank you for looking after him and getting him back on his feet to go home.

Mum was at Field House for almost three years. During this time, the care she received was exceptional. We were unable to see her during Covid but were left with no doubt that every single member of staff was doing everything they possibly could to make the best of the awful situation. Mum's dementia meant she could be a bit of a handful, especially as it progressed, but all we could see from the staff was a genuine level of love and respect. (Mum passed in October; I know she is missed at Field House).
