My name is Sophie Dunlea, and I am the Registered Manager of Haresbrook Park. I have over 15 years of experience working within health and social care, with a strong focus on supporting individuals living with dementia. I am committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being.
I progressed into management after spending three years as Deputy Manager, which provided me with a strong foundation in leadership, staff supervision, care planning, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance. This experience has supported my transition into the Registered Manager role, where I now hold overall responsibility for the safe and effective running of the service.
I have completed my NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and am currently nearing completion of my NVQ Level 5. I am dedicated to continuous professional development and ensuring that both myself and my staff maintain the skills, knowledge, and values required to deliver outstanding care.
My management approach is person-centred and inclusive. I work closely with residents, families, professionals, and external agencies to ensure care is tailored to individual needs, choices, and preferences. I am committed to continuous service improvement through regular audits, feedback, and learning from best practices.
I am passionate about creating a warm, safe, and supportive environment where individuals feel respected, listened to, and able to live fulfilling lives.
