Our sister always looks clean and well cared for. She tells us that she enjoys the craft sessions and activities. The staff are always kind and helpful. We appreciate everything the home and staff have done for our sister.

A special thank you to all the carers, nurses, kitchen staff, maintenance and activities team on Waterside for their help in trying to rehabilitate my husband so that he can walk independently again and for the kindness they have shown me during a very difficult month.

We were very satisfied with the wonder full care that my mother received when she moved into care. The entire team has shown exceptional compassion, dignity + warmth. The staff take time to listen, smile + care. Seeing my mum being treated with kindness at such a sad time gave me peace of mind. Thank you to everyone at Evedale for your hard work + dedication I would recommend this home if you are looking for care.

My mum has been here for for at least 5 years now and absolutely loves living here the staff are brilliant they really care for the residents and there families the meals are really nice and the building is always clean and well maintained we couldn't have asked for a better place for my mum as there is no better place as far as we are concerned.

I went to my Aunts room to take her usual treats, how good it felt to enter a room smelling so clean and fresh everything in its place even my Aunts favourite cushion from her great grandson was placed lovingly on her pillow such a small touch but means so much. A very big thank you to Kiran for keeping the room in perfect condition and all staff for giving my Aunt the care and dignity she deserves.

I am treated with consideration, thoughtfulness and kindness and friendliness. Staff work hard to meet my needs encouraged to mix with other residents 3 staff dedicated as activity organizers medical needs met by doctors 2 visits per wk, Overall - my needs are met and I feel at home. Here with staff meeting all my needs.

From the moment my mother-in-laws health started to deteriate and before the staff on Spencer Ward were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. They helped my husband and I through a very difficult time. All I can say is one big thank you.

The staff are lovely when we come to visit and so helpful with organising visits and trips out. The home always looks clean and well cared for and the staff are always happy to help with anything we need. I couldn't recommend Weston Park more!

Very pleased with the quality of care. Staff are friendly and obliging. The environment feels safe and secure while being welcoming to visitors. My Auntie is very happy at Weston Park and enjoys the social activities.

I'm limited to what I need to say but what is more important is safeguarding know everything my poor husband suffered.

mum has settled into Portland House really well after a prolonged hospital stay. The staff are always friendly and I couldn't ask for a better team to look after her, all of the residents always look comfortable and well cared for, the food looks lovely and the home has a lovely relaxed family atmosphere. we can visit whenever we want to and are always made to feel welcome. The staff are hard working and genuinely care. The management listen to concerns and were helpful with any concerns or worries.

Outstanding care from the professional, dedicated and compassionate team at Portland House. Mum was cared for and respected as a unique lady at Portland, where her individual needs and wishes were met with kindness. Throughout the four and a half years the consideration and professionalism of all members of the Portland team helped so much to reassure Mum herself, Dad (who is now a resident himself) and myself and brother. Thank you to Portland, the wonderful manager, nurses, carers, housekeepers, chefs, maintenance team and wider community including the responsive medical practice next door. May I especially mention the sensitive care and support we all appreciated at the time of Mum' s passing.

My wife went into Weston Park 5.5.2026. I met the manager, two months before, he showed me round, spent an hour answering my questions, which I was very impressed with. I am pleased with every aspect of her care the food, her room with a lovely view. The carers are very attentive, and don't mind me pointing out things about my wife. Im very happy with her care and go back home with peace of mind.

Can't praise this care home enough. Caring staff, kitchen staff catered to my dads gluten free dietary needs, cooking special food he requested. All staff and nurses so very special. Would recommend this care home to everyone. The actual home is spotlessly clean and decorated like a hotel, so residents feel special in their final years/months.
