My father-in-law has been a resident at Evedale for 3 weeks. During his time at Evedale all staff have shown wonderful care, kindness + friendship. The premises are of a high standard, since having a refurbishment + my father-in-law's room is very spacious with ensuite. The entertainment is good especially
the Elvis tribute last saturday. Evedale is well led by it's manager and there is a very positive and happy vibe with the staff. Cleanliness is to a very good standard. I would recommend Evedale to family + friends.

My mum was at Westfield Lodge for two months on end-of-life care. In this time, I found the manager, who is hands on & leads by example, & all of her staff team friendly, welcoming, professional, energetic, positive, compassionate, committed & dedicated to their jobs. Providing great care for mum, they
were also very supportive towards me & other family member's which we greatly appreciated. They treated mum with respect kindness, patience & dignity and they had a great awareness of how to communicate with her, even when at times she could be difficult & not in the best of moods, they would often have her smiling & laughing again with them. All rooms including social areas were kept very clean. There was a good range of activities & entertainment provided. The food cooked on site by the kitchen staff was excellent and varied. Thank you very much to the manager and all the staff here for providing outstanding care for my mum & a friendly, supportive, caring, homely atmosphere for all.

My mother let Portland due to her becoming increasingly ill with Alzheimer's. However, even though she was becoming extremely difficult to manage, the staff at Portland were superb. They really stepped up and took care of all her needs in the most difficult of circumstances. At the same time the management
team were increasingly supportive in helping find a new nursing home for Mum that cared for her complex needs. They went well beyond what I expected, and I really can't thank them enough, they have been superb.

Generally a reasonably way of life with kitchen staff very helpful in modifying the menu in order to suit my somewhat special tastes.
Carers - mostly very good - good caring skills and dealing with cleaning intimate parts of the body. I don't like to be addressed across the room. One of two tend to
be rather bossy for my tastes. I like the access to GP - even easier than at home. g
Reply from Kelly Richardson, Home Manager at Anville Court Care Home

Thank you very much for your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you're generally enjoying life here and that our kitchen staff have been able to adapt the menu to your preferences - it's important to us that everyone feels comfortable and well-catered for. We're also glad you find most of our carers supportive and skilled, especially with personal care. We appreciate your honesty regarding being addressed across the room and your concerns about a couple of staff members coming across as too bossy. We'll take this on board and will follow up with the team to ensure all interactions remain respectful and person-centred. It's great to know you find GP access convenient - we aim to make healthcare as accessible and stress-free as possible. Please don't hesitate to raise any further concerns with us directly - your comfort and dignity remain our top priorities.

Always met at the door by friendly staff. Helpful. Booked app for my mom. Mom's room is clean, tidy.

My husband was in Town Thorns from March 6th until he passed away on May 22nd. In that short time, he was looked after so well, everyone played their part in his care from the cleaner, cook, care staff, nursing staff, doctors and office staff.
