Not only is it so important that the staff know that the care they provide makes a positive difference but also for anyone looking to place a loved one here at Chesford Grange, it gives them invaluable insight. The staff still speak of your dad fondly and especially in relation to his debonair appearance and gentlemanly conduct. Although our paths crossed but briefly in comparison to the lifetime you have spent with your dad, our loss weighs heavy as we say goodbye to someone we became fond of and of course this includes you as his family who have been so supportive and insightful.

I am pleased that you are happy thus far with the service provided at Chesford Grange. You mention that you feel so welcome when visiting which is really good to hear because all staff from reception through to housekeeping and everyone in-between strives to do their best to create a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the home. I am very proud of the team not just because they work hard but also because they are dedicated to the residents that they genuinely care about and want to do their best for. Your mum is an absolute pleasure to care for and does seem to have settled in very well. Working in partnership with residents and their loved ones is definitely the key to success in terms of delivering good care. I have to say that you have been supportive of us from day one. The staff have mentioned that you always thank them on every visit for what they do for your mum and I know this because you always thank me too each time we meet. This has such a powerful impact on us all and it reminded me of the duty of care I have to my staff team as well as the Residents in my care. Since meeting you I have been inspired to show my gratitude to staff more openly and frequently and I am grateful to you for reminding me of the importance of this.
