In my experience, Cliffdale Care Home is staffed by professional, caring people from top to bottom.
Communication is very good.

Overall Experience
Our mum was a resident here from late 2019 to November 2021.
The first time my sister and I met the manager and deputy at our mum's residence, we knew that this was the place for her.
The fact that they are so caring, speaking to our mum was enough.

Our mum was a resident here from late 2019 to November 2021.
The first time my sister and I met the manager and deputy at our mum's residence, we knew that this was the place for her.
The fact that they are so caring, speaking to our mum was enough.
When we visited her for the first time, we did notice the homely environment that was created.
The palliative care that was given to her in the last few months of her life was second to none.
Our mum was very feisty, and the clever ways they approached that was only to be admired.
Mum loved the food and enjoyed breakfast bacon and eggs.
She seemed to have a good relationship with the staff, which was lovely to see.
We always could see that there was always time to attend to the little things that were so important to our mum.
They always had time to speak to us, and nothing was too much trouble.

My mum was really happy here and the staff are so caring and competent. The team always made time to talk to me about how Mum was getting along in the home and the bond between residents and the staff was clearly warm loving and caring.

My mum was really happy here and the staff are so caring and competent. The team always made time to talk to me about how Mum was getting along in the home and the bond between residents and the staff was clearly warm loving and caring.
Cliffdale is a lovely, large rambling home and radiates a feeling of homeliness and I always felt that nothing was too much for the team to do for Mum, being a resident made Mum's latter years comfortable and removed that risk of loneliness that can happen to older people. She always had the choice to engage with the other residents or spend time alone as she wished and she loved the food (especially the breakfast porridge). Thank you for all you did for her and I would recommend Cliffdale to anyone looking for residential care.
