St Georges Park Nursing Home

Chelsie Hammond was appointed as Manager of St. Georges Park Nursing Home in September 2021. She has settled into her role with a real determination to maintain the very high standards and exceptional care that the residents have come to expect. Upon leaving University, Chelsie spent two years training to be a nurse and then moved into Domiciliary Care. After joining Rotherwood Healthcare three years ago she quickly proved her ability and progressed from her role as Senior Healthcare Assistant to Quality Assurance Officer where she played a crucial role in St George’s Park retaining a ‘good’ rating with the Care Quality Commission.

She has always loved being able to spend quality time with the residents at St George’s but says her love of the job also has to do with the fact she feels the company is so supportive and treats its staff and residents with dignity and respect. Chelsie is eager to take St George’s on a journey which enriches the lives of the residents who call it their home.

Nancy is the Clinical Lead at St George's Park.

Jenny is responsible for ensuring that all services and processes meet high standards of quality and compliance. Her role involves conducting regular audits, reviewing procedures, and implementing improvements to enhance overall effectiveness. She collaborates with various departments to monitor performance, address any issues, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence help maintain a superior standard of care and service for everyone at St George's Park.

Karla has been a Receptionist at St George’s Park since September 2021, having had a wealth of experience in customer-facing roles. She enjoys working in the care home setting as she relishes building relationships with residents and their families. Karla loves being a part of the St George’s team and looks forward to welcoming you during your visits.

Elaini joins the team at St George's Park as Customer Administrator.

I have worked at St Georges for over 5 years and have loved every minute of it. I endeavour to provide a broad-ranging activities programme for those we support, which are person centred and include lots of musical entertainment, holistic therapies and social events within the home, as well as out in the local community.

My days are spent making sure that the residents in the home have an interesting and active social programme to enjoy each day. Residents' individual preferences are always considered, and I welcome feedback from loved ones too.

Chris plays a crucial role in ensuring the facility's smooth operation and safety. His responsibilities include performing routine inspections, addressing repair needs, and maintaining equipment and infrastructure. Chris handles minor repairs, troubleshoots issues, and collaborates with other team members to ensure that the home remains in excellent condition for both staff and residents. His proactive approach and attention to detail help create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone at St George's Park.

Yvonne is one of our Lifestyle Coordinators. She brings great experience, enthusiasm and spark to St George's Park. She enjoys delivering an amazing, vibrant activities calendar to cater to all tastes and abilities. It is her passion to ensure that residents, family and friends are left happy and content and very much looking forward to the next daily activity!

As Head Chef, Tracy leads the kitchen team in delivering nutritious, delicious meals tailored to residents' dietary needs and preferences. Her role involves menu planning, ensuring food quality and safety, and managing kitchen operations, including inventory and staff supervision. She collaborates closely with care staff to accommodate specific dietary requirements and create a positive dining experience for residents. Her passion for cooking and commitment to excellence ensures that meals not only meet nutritional standards but also bring comfort and enjoyment to each resident.
