The dedication of the carers were to be commended. You hear so bad comments about care homes, but got to say Hinstock Manor, I would have no hesitation in saying to anyone who is looking into care home but to do there very best to put this one on top of your list.
Thank you so much for your lovely words, we all really appreciate it here at Hinstock! Mum was such a big personality here and will always be missed by our Hinstock family.
It has been such a delight for my uncle, who stayed at Hinstock Care Home. All staff are very friendly and professional. Everywhere is spotless with rooms cleaned daily. All the facilities are first class, hair cutting, chiropody, and medical, etc. He has been well looked after and made comfortable. I would recommend Hinstock Manor to anyone.
Thank you so much for your lovely review of Hinstock, we really appreciate you taking the time to write such brilliant feedback. We are so lucky to have such a fabulous team who do such an amazing job!
Maybe a few more activities to keep minds active.
Overall, as a family, we are very happy with Mum and Dad's care, excellent.
Thank you so much for your kid words, we really appreciate it here at Hinstock Manor! We are glad your parents have settled in well with us, they are already part of our Springcare family! We will pass your activity feedback onto our activity coordinators, thank you so much!
Both my parents have been in Hinstock Manor since November and December 2024. We as a family were unable to choose where we wanted our parents to go as it was an emergency situation and my mum needed placement as my dad was admitted to hospital. It is almost an hour from where we all live. We couldn't have found a better place for both of them to be together. The staff go way and beyond what they should be doing. They have a lot to put up with but do it with care and a smile on their faces. They spoil them as if they are their family. We have found places closer to where we live but none of them compare to how well they are looked after. Anything my dad asks for to eat , he is given, even up to 3 full English breakfasts a day. He has put on 3 stone since he has been there. My mum needs encouraging to eat and a special diet and this is made and they feed her with care and not rushed. We would recommend Hinstock Manor to any family needing placement for family members.
Thank you so much for your lovely review of Hinstock, we all really appreciate it here! Your parents are truly part of our big family here, as are you. We thank you again for your continued support!
At the age of 95, registered blind, hard of hearing and very frail, Mum could no longer remain in her own home and moved into Hinstock Manor Care Home. She had a lovely, large bedroom with ensuite facilities and was encouraged to personalise it with items that were important to her. The staff were very caring, compassionate, attentive and friendly and did everything they could to ensure Mum was well looked after. Sadly, Mum passed away recently, but I would like to thank everyone at Hinstock Manor, including the lovely reception staff, the carers and the management team for everything they did for her during the 14 months she was with them.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write us a lovely review, Mum is truly missed by all of the team and we send our love at this hard time.
Throughout his time there he had many laughs with the staff and was looked after at a very high standard.
During his end of life pathway the staff treated him with respect and dignity and made it as comfortable as possible. I want to give a special mention to four members of staff in particular for going up and beyond.
This care home has changed the way I looked at care homes and actually couldn't recommend it any more. Thanks.
Thank you so much for your kind words, we really appreciate it here at Hinstock Manor and we are so grateful for your support.
My wife went into Hinstock Manor care home for two weeks' respite and was in there for five weeks where she was very well looked after by the staff. The home was very friendly and well-run.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, I will make sure it is passed on to our fabulous team!
From the time my mom entered Hinstock Manor Care Home for respite, the manager and the staff were amazing. Mom was there for 6 weeks and the staff went above and beyond for her. Even when family and friends went we were made so very welcome. Mom would have stayed there but it was a little out of the way for us. Anyone going into Hinstock Manor don't worry you will be cared for by the very best.
Thank you so much for your kind words, we all really appreciate it here at Hinstock Manor! We wish you all the best for the future and it was a pleasure to have the privilege of supporting Mom!
Hinstock Manor has been so supportive and professional with all care needs for Mum, she was made comfortable to the very end when she passed. The staff went above and beyond for Mum as Mum deteriorated, we as a family would like to thank them all for looking after Mum and we took flowers and a thank you card to them.
Particular thanks goes to the manager who has shown kindness and empathy in bucket loads.
All staff at Hinstock Manor have given us the love to deal with a difficult time in our lives.
Thank you so much for your lovely review of Hinstock Manor, we really appreciate it. If we can do anything to support you more please let us know.
Over the six years that she has been there, her needs have changed, and the level of care required has increased. Carers and all the staff such as housekeeping, kitchen, activities and reception have been perceptive of these changes and adapted the care, attention and room facilities afforded to her.
As age and frailty overcame her, everyone went out of their way to provide care and comfort during her inevitable demise. As a family, we were afforded every facility, and it always felt as though we were visiting Mum at home and not in a care home. We can only praise the caring and supportive outlook of everyone at the home, who created a welcoming environment that made us all feel 'at home'.
Thank you so much for your lovely review; we all really appreciate it here at Hinstock Manor. If we can ever do anything to support your family please let us know.
The staff here are wonderful - they have looked after my father for over 12 months since his stroke. He has a tendency to wander about and hide - at all times of day and night (like he’s playing games) but they deal with him with great humour and tenderness. There are plenty of activities to participate in - or not! There is also a social page so that relatives and friends can keep up with what they are doing even if they can’t get there as often as they’d like. I have nothing but great respect for all the staff - always there with a smile and a comforting shoulder, should you need it! It’s like family.
Thank you so much for your lovely review of Hinstock Manor, we appreciate your support - it means a lot to us here. We strive for the family feeling within Hinstock Manor so this is great to hear!
Two of my dearest friends are resident at Hinstock Manor Care Home and have no hesitation in the recommendation of your care home.
Thank you so much for your lovely words about Hinstock Manor, we are so happy that you are impressed by staff and are grateful for your recommendation!
Good quality care and an impressive range of activities to stimulate and entertain the residents.
Thank you for your kind words regarding Hinstock Manor. We believe activities are so important in enriching the lives of our residents, and we are so happy you have recognised the activities and care in our home!
Clean and tidy care home. My friend is well looked after and his wife is welcomed into the home when she and I visit.
Perhaps as visitors, we do not see all the communal activities but when we last visited there was a musician providing music and singing which caused a buzz in the room.
Please keep this up within your budget and time restraints.
Thank you so much for your lovely review of Hinstock Manor, we believe activities play a major part in wellbeing and the care we provide! Thank you for your support, staff here really appreciate it!
My mother-in-law is very happy at Hinstock Manor Care Home. Staff are very caring, friendly, attentive and available. The home is always warm, clean and welcoming. The resident's physical, emotional and health needs are well cared for.
Thank you so much for your kind words, here at Hinstock we want every aspect of our care to be the best and it makes us very happy that this can be recognised. Thank you so much for your continued support.
My mother has been a resident at the care home for the last 18 months. She is always treated with respect and care. The staff ensure that she maintains her dignity. She is always well cared for both physically and emotionally. The home is clean and warm with a nutritious and varied daily food menu. The staff are kind and considerate and always address my mother by name. They ensure that there are daily activities to keep residents occupied and motivated. The care manager is always available and very helpful.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review of Hinstock Manor, we really appreciate your support! Mum is a joy to have with us and we are glad you are happy with all aspects of our home.
Christmas has always been for all our family a special time and this would be the first one that my husband and I have been apart on Christmas day for sixty two years, our diamond wedding anniversary is in August 2023. After spending the day with him for a lovely Christmas lunch I feel that he is well cared for with kindness and understanding by all at Hinstock Manor.
Thank you for taking the time to write this lovely review. We are so happy we can provide the care that your husband deserves and that you are both happy with Hinstock Manor. We loved having you both here for Christmas!
Hinstock Manor is a very caring home. My father loves the food and has put on some much-needed weight since hs started there. It is cheerful, clean and bright.
I now have complete peace of mind and total confidence Dad is being looked after with kindness and compassion. Every aspect is good, from the tasty and nutritious home cooking to the kindness and care of all the staff.

Meet the Team (2)

Hi, I’m Heather, and I’m the manager of Hinstock Manor. I have a passion for helping people and have been with Springcare and worked through the ranks.
I have recently moved over to Hinstock Manor to become the registered manager from one of our sister homes, which I previously managed. I thoroughly enjoy working at Hinstock and have a fabulous team working with me.

I have worked in care for over 10 years. I have completed my degree and wish to continue to progress further.
I enjoy the day-to-day support we provide and bringing happiness and support to the residents we care for. Some days are challenging and can be very emotional, but with the support of the team, we get through these days. Going to work is a pleasure as we get to work in the residents' homes every day, not just a workplace.
No two days are the same - I enjoy being part of a team and knowing we have made a difference to those we support, care for, and work with.
