It has been such a delight for my uncle, who stayed at Hinstock Care Home. All staff are very friendly and professional. Everywhere is spotless with rooms cleaned daily. All the facilities are first class, hair cutting, chiropody, and medical, etc. He has been well looked after and made comfortable.
I would recommend Hinstock Manor to anyone.

Overall Experience 3.0 out of 5
What was a fantastic home is in a state of decline since being aquired by Spring Care. There is now a sever shortage of staff giving rise to a reliance on agency staff. The remaing permanent staff are excellent but the agency staff are often very poor. Weekends and nights are particularly bad. The kitchen
has not had a chef for over a year. Meals are very poorly planned and executed usually agency staff or sometimes even the home manager typical menu - ham, egg & chips or fish cake, chips & peas.
Outside entertainers almost totally cut out by Spring Care.
To sum up - Spring Care more interested in profit than care.

I am really happy with the care my mum is receiving from Beech House Nursing Home. The staff are outstanding, and welcomed us all. Not only they look after my mum but always ask how I am doing and my dad. Mum is in a very comfortable, clean and bright room. They offer a range of activities for all the
residents, and I especially enjoy hearing the Philipine music when I arrive. The staff always make time for us and have become our extended family. Thank you Beech House.

I think my mum is in the right place for her complex needs. There has been much improvement in day room since we first came. It is now beautifully decorated and very comfortable for residents and visitors. The staff are fabulous trying to make fun for residents with bingo, music, quizzes etc. The summer
fair and family food night was excellent.

My mum is in the care home and is happy here.
But there could be more improvements in the care she receives for eg the food could be more nutritious and sometimes the food is barely warm.
Personal hygiene could also be improved by having showers/ baths more frequently, and hand washing after eating.
Residents are sometimes left in the day room without drinks and supervision.
The staff are kind and caring towards the residents and families, but in my opinion they are understaffed plus the hoists are always breaking down, which means residents are left in bed longer than necessary.

Nice place to live, suitable for my grandmother. Lovely, caring and helpful staff, food needs to be improved upon and free out activities, but I am hopeful this will change in the future.

I am the daughter of the resident. I find Park House has really improved in the last year. Since being refurbished, it is a pleasure to visit. It's clean and smells lovely. Even the staff seem a lot happier at their job.

Westwood Hall Nursing Home

My dad moved to Westwood Hall just over a year ago after a severe stroke left him paralysed, with high care needs. I was very anxious, but from the moment he arrived we felt welcomed and supported. Sadly, Dad was initially very unwell and placed on end-of-life care, but through the exceptional compassion,
skill and dedication of the team he recovered and has since thrived as best he can. Despite being bedbound, he is always clean, comfortable and cared for with patience and kindness. Staff take time to chat, find his favourite TV programmes and encourage him to eat and drink. The whole team - carers, nurses, domestic, kitchen and maintenance - are consistently warm, friendly and respectful, and their kindness extends to me too. Management are approachable, responsive and supportive, always ready to listen and help. I never imagined I'd feel this way, but I actually enjoy visiting my dad here. I feel lucky to have found this home. I can't thank the team enough.

My mum has lived at The Chase since March 2020. I just wanted to praise the staff for their wonderful treatment and care of my mum who has advanced dementia. They are very patient at all times and I feel that they genuinely care about her. Nothing is too much trouble and were very helpful when we needed
to ask the local authority for help with the fees this year. The activity lady is very good with both my mum and the other residents in getting them involved. Very happy with all at the home and of course the management. They are always looking for ways to improve and involve the families.

My parents have settled in so very well. The staff are all so very friendly and caring. Managers are also very helpful and caring. Rooms are kept very clean. Food always looks good. Good security to keep residents safe. My parents are always happy and clean when we visit.
Maybe a few more activities
to keep minds active.
Overall, as a family, we are very happy with Mum and Dad's care, excellent.

My sister spent her final weeks in this care home after I read some of the reviews I was a bit sceptical about this place.
I can honestly say that the care she received was good and made us as a family happy that she was looked after
My sister was in Lancaster house and I want to thank all involved
in looking after my sister and making her as comfortable as she could be.
