Melbourne House Nursing Home go above and beyond in every aspect of my dad's care. It's a home from home where staff really care about each and every one of their residents. It has exceeded all our expectations. We always feel so welcomed, and the staff immediately made us feel like part of a big family.
They have an amazing team; where staff are always cheerful and treat residents with dignity and warmth. It's been such a relief to know dad is in such a caring and supportive place. We are forever grateful for the love and dedication shown to dad and our family.

Such a welcoming place, it really feels like a home from home. I visit regularly and the staff are always wonderful.
I have visited many other residential homes and nothing compares to here.

The staff are always helpful. The care given to my friend is excellent. And the Care Home is always clean. Staff always seem to be engaged with residents. My friend is happy and well looked after. She is given her medication every day.

Our dad moved into Melbourne house early 2024. Of course it was a difficult time initially, but Dad has settled into his home and loves the staff. He is treated with dignity and his ways are respected. I do sometimes with he would go out more on trips, but Mel and the team always invite him! So much
of the food is home made and dad always enjoys it!

My husband has been at Melbourne House just over 2 years, his changing needs over this time have always been met. The staff are very helpful, friendly and caring. The staff are always very kind not only to my husband but also myself. The staff are always around to meet his toileting, eating and drinking
needs. There is plenty of activities/entertainment activities to partake in or just enjoy. There is a regular hairdresser and chiropodist and a lady who does exercise classes for the residents. My husband is always and clean and tidy.

All the staff and residents at Davenham Hall greeted us kindly. Everyone was thoughtful, considerate and understanding, despite my mum being there for such a short time. In our hour of need, absolutely everything possible was done by nurses and staff to make my mum's last days comfortable. We thank
you sincerely from the bottom of our hearts for this. It has made the world of difference to us as a family.

The Chace

As a family we were concerned about mum living alone after sadly losing our Dad last year and we made the decision to look in to moving mum to permanent residential care primarily for her wellbeing and safety. From our very first conversation we felt reassured that Lucy understood how we were
feeling and answered all of our many questions. After an initial first visit we took mum to meet Angelina, Lucy and her team at The Chace in Malvern and mum really loved the experience and especially loved her bedroom. Mum also had reservations about it being the right time for a move but we feel that The Chace has such a lovely feel about the home and the wonderful care of team looking after the residents that mum moved in on 27th October and it was the best best decision. Mum is looked after beautifully, has made new friends and is always happy to participate in daily activities, especially keep fit and baking. A very big thank you to Angelina, Lucy and all the staff at The Chace!

Beautiful home which is always kept well maintained and clean, in addition to being surrounded by glorious grounds which are also well maintained. Lovely private room and very well appointed.
Extremely kind and caring staff throughout the home who work exceptionally well together supporting each other
as needed. The response to any issues raised is always positive and action is taken to resolve any issues.
Food varied and well balanced and good to now have two chefs on board. Also good to have more permanent carers joining the team after a bit of an hiatus after the new ownership a year ago.
In summary it's a very special home.

Overall Experience 1.0 out of 5
My nan was in Wellington house for 7 months and the care she got was bad. She would go weeks without having a shower, hygiene was appalling, food is dire, in the short space of time she was there she had 4 water lesions as she wasn't being changed enough, she had 3 safeguarding referrals put in for
falling out of bed, being burnt and weeks of dry skin at the top of her legs as the cream the Dr prescribed wasn't being put on regular. Majority of the carers in Wellington are lovely but unfortunately they are understaffed and don't have the time to look after everyone in the way they would like. Higher management don't care that basic needs of residents aren't being met, instead they gave my 91yr old nana 28 days notice stating they couldn't meet her needs, this was after us making the same complaints about basic needs, then my mum was asked to write a review and the management didn't like what she wrote so kicked nana out.

My sister in law has been a resident for 14 months due to her dementia. The staff and carers are all excellent and we are always greeted with a warm hello and smile. My sister in law always appears clean, nicely dressed hair, nails, teeth cleaned. She tells me she is happy and enjoys spending time with
her new friends in the lounge, she enjoys the activities and the trips out! The well maintained garden provides beautiful outdoor space where residents can take leisurely strolls and simply relax.

From the first time we walked into Cedars we felt welcomed by the amazing manager and deputy manager, The Cedars is a beautiful, clean, homely a friendly place, home from home feel. My mom moved in in October and during her time there had wonderful care, respect + went above and beyond for her. I as
her daughter was always informed of anything, I always felt reassured my mom was safe + cared for. I can't speak highly enough of all the staff and feel like I had new friends, not just people looking after my mom.

Our Dad was admitted to Bucklow Manor post a hospital admission/5 week stay. Prior to that he lived independently in his own home with ongoing support from my sister and I. We enabled him to remain in his home of 68 years as best we could after Mum died in September 2022.
His deterioration during
the hospital admission was significant and it was clear from the MDT professionals report that he was unable to return home and live independently. It was a rapid and sad change of events for my sister and I and we feared the outcome for Dad.
The transition to Bucklow Manor however has been a positive experience from day one especially given the traumatic and sad demise over such a short period of time for Dad and a huge shift for us all. Dad was welcomed on his arrival by Franklin and we too were made welcome and reassured that Dad would be well cared for. Within a short time of his admission Dad was joining in with an exercise to music session. We thank you all for his care
