I just wanted to let you know my son had a very good experience and the caregivers we so kind to him and listened to him as it can be quite difficult to understand him at times. The staff were always very friendly and helpful with a big smile

The staff were all welcoming, caring happy and smartly dressed.
The food was very good and plentu of variety.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write us such a lovely review at Beech House, we really appreciate it and will pass it on!
During the short time that my dad was looked after in Beech House, I found every member of staff to be caring, hard working and friendly. During my dad's end of life care he was treated with dignity and respect and the nurses were compassionate and knowledgeable. My particular thanks to nurse Marie and carer Paul who went above & beyond. The facilities are clean, well maintained and nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou.
Thank you so much for your lovely review of Beech House, it really means a lot to us! Our Beech family send our love at this hard time and our door is always open.
I consider myself lucky to have been sent to Beech House for rehab. The setting of the home is lovely especially the garden. The staff couldn't be more helpful & caring. They are always cheerful. The food is good and there is no pervading smell of cooking throughout the building! An enjoyable stay in the circumstances.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review-we really appreciate it! We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Beech House and hope to welcome you back again soon.
I have visited on many occasions always greeted with a smile and offer of a coffee.
In December I went along on a Monday morning only to arrive just before they were to be entertained with a pantomime. I was very moved & humbled to sit and share it with all, the staff were wonderful and it was a very happy experience.
Thank you so much for support, it means so much that you've taken the time to write such lovely words.
Overall very happy with the care mum is receiving. The home is very 'homely', friendly with good decorations etc. The care staff are marvellous, but feel they are always under pressure due to the number of tasks they are expected to do, the needs of the residents ever increasing + seemingly lack of staff available. Therefore bells not answered promptly no time to chat - not their fault. Activities are ok but don't always happen in line with timetable which is confusing and not always appropriate due to residents limitations!!
We acknowledge your concerns regarding staffing pressures and activities and would like to assure you that we keep these under regular review to...
My mum has been a resident at this care home for almost 2 years. She is very well looked after. I visit twice a week, staff always very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Mum is very happy and content to be a resident there.
Thank you so much for taking the time to give Beech House such a kind review .
My Aunty was in Beech House for 2 weeks respite following an operation. Whilst i the home it was her birthday, she was so pleased all the staff sang to her & made her a cake, she said that she really enjoyed her stay & would have no hesitation in staying at the home again. She said the staff were so kind & always on hand to help out.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, it means a lot to Beech House!
I have visited Beech House several times in the past 10 days to see a friend. The atmosphere was welcoming (I was offered a drink on each occasion) My friend was pleased at the care she received - nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the staff who were pleasant & cheerful. Communal areas beautifully maintained. Please note - exterior woodwork gives the wrong impression of a lovely home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review, it means so much to us at Beech House!
I am really happy with the care my mum is receiving from Beech House Nursing Home. The staff are outstanding, and welcomed us all. Not only they look after my mum but always ask how I am doing and my dad. Mum is in a very comfortable, clean and bright room. They offer a range of activities for all the residents, and I especially enjoy hearing the Philipine music when I arrive. The staff always make time for us and have become our extended family. Thank you Beech House.

The staff are always patient with my mom, even though her needs are complex. She let me write this: I am so lucky here. So many angles around me.
Thank you so much for your heart warming review, that honestly means so much to us all at Beech House.
Beech House has been wonderful. The care and compassion shown towards my dad was lovely, and very reassuring. It's very difficult to have to put a loved one in a home, but my dad really enjoyed the company and being so well looked after. Well done to all staff.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, we really appreciate it here at Beech House.
During her time at Beech she was treated with the utmost dignity and respect, the team at Beech filled her time with love, laughter and non stop support. I knew from day one that i had made the right decision in placing mum at Beech House. She loved spending time in the beautiful gardens, she would while away the hours enjoying the views and pottering around the flower beds as this was something she loved to do at home.
When mum became poorly the level of care, love & support was amazing....nothing was too much trouble...they were there for her constantly ensuring she had the best level of care right up until the end. Her end of life care plan was exactly how she would have wanted it, she was kept comfortable, monitored constantly and was in no pain and it was all done in a very private and dignified manner.
Thank you Beech
I chose to come here for nursing care and have been very impressed with the service offered.
As an ex-nurse, I feel I am in a position to make a good judgement. I have no regrets about my decision.
Thank you so much for your lovely words about Beech House and we are so happy you could join us! Thank you again for your continued support!
My mum went into Beech House on the 20th of April this year having spent seven weeks in hospital after two falls very close together, resulting in a broken humerus bone. She was very poorly and confused. Thanks to the excellent and caring staff of Beech House she has settled well. Whilst she is still far from well I take great comfort in the extremely caring environment in which Mum resides.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such kind things about Beech House. We are so glad Mum has settled with us here and if there's anything more we can do to support Mum please let us know. As we have only recently reopened with a whole new team we really appreciate your support!
Made welcome on arrival. The bathroom obviously not cleaned prior to occupancy due to dead insects and cobwebs on the walls and floor. This was rectified the following day and then kept clean throughout the stay. Problem with the bathroom toilet, not flushing. Initial attempts to notify staff of problem were not passed on to management or maintenance. After the third complaint, the problem was resolved within 24 hours and the use of an alternative toilet was given. The food was varied and enjoyable. All my visitors made very welcome and the call button always answered quickly. All staff were very helpful and pleasant. Suggestions for improvements to bedroom furniture and decor and also reclining chairs or suitable height footstools.
Thank you so much for your review of Beech House - we're glad you enjoyed the food and everyone was made to feel welcome! We will definitely learn from your comments and use them to improve our service in the future as we are a brand new team formed this year and getting into a routine!
I have been here for approximately 2 months. The staff are very kind and considerate and very professional. I feel completely safe here. Housekeeping is excellent, linen is changed regularly, fresh towels every day and laundry is collected every day. Everything is done to make us comfortable. This is my home now and I am happy to be here.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, we all really appreciate it at Beech House! We are so glad you have settled in well here, you are a joy to have with us and you are part of our family!
I am sorry this is so long after my husband's stay in Beech House. When you walk into Beech House, you can immediately sense the calm, homely atmosphere. You then experience all the other excellent details. Efficiency, professionalism, cleanliness and most of all the caring atmosphere.
Thank you very much for your very kind review of Beech House.
My mother was 100 years old on December 6th 2017 and the staff were absolutely brilliant. They made mum's day really special when we came to take her out she had had her hair done and looked lovely. We had Christmas lunch with mum at Beech House and we would like to say what an enjoyable lunch it was. I cannot fault the way the staff treated the visitors and the residents and the food was excellent.

The favoured part of my role is in getting to know the residents and their families and being able to make a difference with a positive impact on their lives.
My hobbies include spending time with family, especially my two grandchildren and I enjoy walking with my dog ‘Bella’ who loves to participate in any activity. I love to travel and enjoy holidays but I equally like to return home and believe as the saying goes "Home is where the heart is".
