I am very happy with the care my Mother receives, She seems very content at the carehome and is well looked after. Her surroundings are clean and always tidy, and a relaxed feel to the home. Staff are always on hand to help and the unit is well managed.

My mum was admitted on 22 May 26, and so far she seems to be settled and resigned to the home. She is living in Shackleton House, and the staff and sister are very friendly and helpful whilst I have been sorting Mum's affairs.

I feel there needs to be more staff so they are able to take more time with residents. I know my nana is safe, which is nice to know, but just feel more could be done in terms of spending time with residents and being able to take them to the toilet when asked rather than waiting for a long period, which I have witnessed several times. The staff overall are all friendly and kind from what I have seen.

Since my sister's care home has been revamped I find it a nice place to visit and a far nicer environment to live in. I don't think there's enough stimulation given. I realise that the residents have different needs. My sister is always dressed nicely. Njots her food and I find the staff pleasant and helpful.

My mum came to Ringway Mews Care Home 18 months ago and I have been extremely happy with the care she has received and the staff on Wellington are very professional and very kind. My mum always looks well turned out, clean and tidy. She enjoys the food here and loves having a laugh with the carers. Hannah the manager is excellent.

My dad was brought to Ringway from the hospital and was mainly bedbound in the hospital. He was put in Lancaster and we were amazed at the change in my dad. He is walking, going to the toilet, etc., and it's all down to the care of the staff in Lancaster. Every single person there is so welcoming and caring, we can never thank this team of angels enough for bringing my dad back, they are all amazing and want to say a truly heartfelt thank you.

My aunt was cared for at Ringway Mews, Lancaster House. The whole team showed her compassion and respect, taking time to talk to her, encouraging her to eat her meals and making sure she was washed and comfortable. Her room had french windows and she was able to look out and see the beautiful gardens. The room had some lovely touches - flowers, matching curtains and bed runner. Lots of activities, a very happy place My aunt was shown love and dignity when she passed, staff were available to talk to and guide us through the next steps. The Unit Manager was always available and the Nursing Home Manager took time to speak to us after my aunt passed. Would strongly recommend. A delightful place for a loved one.

My sister was in Ringway Mews. We could not have asked for better care than she recied by her carers. She was loved and cared for as though she was one of their own family. They treated her with total dignity and compassion. I would recommend anyone putting a family member into care to put them into this lovely home. The manager and caring team were so caring towards her, and to all of us as a family, we will be forever grateful for everything they did for her.

My mum stayed here from October to November 2025 under a D2A placement. Shortly after arriving, she fell out of bed onto a hard floor because bed rails were not used, despite them being in her care plan. She had to be taken to hospital and was in significant pain.
When she was discharged back to Ringway, her care needs were still not being met. Her personal hygiene was not adequately attended to and there were issues with her medication. The food was of such poor quality that I frequently brought in meals myself. Her room was also unclean.
We raised these concerns with the care home manager, but after allowing 28 days, no investigation was done. We then contacted the head office, but the response we eventually received did not address the problems we had reported.
Once the D2A placement ended, the social worker agreed to an emergency move, but sadly, Mum never recovered from the poor care she received.

I cannot recommend this care home and would urge others to consider different option.

Wellington House 1-2-1 ..after several months of issues it was agreed that mum could move to wellington I only wish this has been done sooner, the difference this has made to mum is great , she is more calm, settled, relaxed and most importantly less anxious and I can't thank the staff enough for the time and care they give and for taking the time to understand what her needs are .I go daily and at different times and the staff are always busy tending to residents .the carers and the nursing staff seem to be a great team, friendly and hard working making sure all residents are seen to even when short staffed, we are happy with mum's room which is cosy and has plenty of space .Food is a let down for soft diets there is no option and consists of mashed potatoes for both dinner and tea with a bit of meat and 1 veg and pudding is usually a yoghurt, mouse supper is cereal .I have been assured for the last 12 months this is being addressed however I have yet to see any improvement..

My nan was in Wellington house for 7 months and the care she got was bad. She would go weeks without having a shower, hygiene was appalling, food is dire, in the short space of time she was there she had 4 water lesions as she wasn't being changed enough, she had 3 safeguarding referrals put in for falling out of bed, being burnt and weeks of dry skin at the top of her legs as the cream the Dr prescribed wasn't being put on regular. Majority of the carers in Wellington are lovely but unfortunately they are understaffed and don't have the time to look after everyone in the way they would like. Higher management don't care that basic needs of residents aren't being met, instead they gave my 91yr old nana 28 days notice stating they couldn't meet her needs, this was after us making the same complaints about basic needs, then my mum was asked to write a review and the management didn't like what she wrote so kicked nana out.

Partner been in Lancaster House since January 2025. I have always been kept informed about his care and any queries I have had have been dealt with straight away. All the staff I have dealt with have been very helpful and treated partner with respect. Manager of the unit always keeps me informed and always available. If i have any queries. The unit is looking tired and needs updating which I believe will be next year.

Only problem I have in there is not much. Activities again I believe this is being looked at. All the staff on the unit work hard.

My mum is in the care home and is happy here.
But there could be more improvements in the care she receives for eg the food could be more nutritious and sometimes the food is barely warm.
Personal hygiene could also be improved by having showers/ baths more frequently, and hand washing after eating.
Residents are sometimes left in the day room without drinks and supervision.

The staff are kind and caring towards the residents and families, but in my opinion they are understaffed plus the hoists are always breaking down, which means residents are left in bed longer than necessary.

My sister spent her final weeks in this care home after I read some of the reviews I was a bit sceptical about this place.
I can honestly say that the care she received was good and made us as a family happy that she was looked after
