Always find the staff helpful. The last few visits, the room has been dirty, but I understand there's a staff shortage. Overall, I am happy with my mum's care. I feel that she is safe and well looked after.

We apologise you found your relative’s bedroom dirty on occasion; we seek to maintain a high levels of cleanliness, and this aspect of our service will be monitored to ensure compliance. There are occasions when we do require the use of agency staff, but we endeavour to keep this to a minimum. We have a robust recruitment program in place, which helps us maintain safe staffing levels across the home.

I find all the care staff very friendly and helpful. I am also pleased to see that activities seem to have been reinstated. A great effort was made for the Platinum Jubilee and residents seem to enjoy it.

Lancaster House have been taking excellent care of my mum for 14 months now, all the staff are friendly and helpful and Mum is so happy there. She is always clean and tidy and is given plenty of food and drinks! It gives me great peace of mind to know she is being cared for.

My aunt has been resident here for a couple of months now, the staff are absolutely amazing with her and us. She is so well looked after and treated with lots of kindness and respect. The staff are always so cheerful and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. There are so many personal touches and even though my aunt is bedbound she is still included, such as putting paper poppies on all the resident's doors for remembrance month, such a nice touch. It is comforting to know that she is so well looked after by caring people.
