Ringway Mews Care Home is situated in the peaceful residential community of Sharston in Wythenshawe.

Offering nursing and dementia care, the care home is friendly and welcoming with a host of places where residents can relax, practise hobbies, socialise and dine. Popular features are the hair salon, landscaped garden, library service, conservatory and hobby room.

My dad was admitted to Ringway Mews at the end of January 2023.
The management team is fantastic and extremely helpful and understanding.
The nursing assistants and care team are supportive, helpful and extremely kind.
Seeing my dad smile when I visit him every week knowing he's safe and happy is
enough for me.

My dad was admitted just before Christmas. I have nothing but praise for the staff that work in Halifax house. Their patience and professionalism is excellent. It's very difficult to find a home but at last, I feel that my dad is as comfortable as can be expected and, most of all, is safe. Thank you.

Throughout the nine years my wife has been a resident at Ringway Mews, I have been completely satisfied with the treatment she has received.
The staff, from manager down, have always been very helpful with respect if any issues I have raised and I would recommend their hard work and dedication in
respect to keeping the residents happy and comfortable.

My brother has been at Ringway Mews for over a year now and while his condition has deteriorated (not through anyone's fault) and now has to have everything done for him, but they have always adapted to his needs. He is always clean and shaved and there is never any smell in the home. The staff are
always helpful and kind and know where he is and how he has been when we call, even unannounced. They do not leave him in bed but get him up and take him into the community room unless he is very tired.
I would be happy to go there myself when the time comes that I need looking after.

My mum moved here after her old home closed down. I have been really pleased with how well she has settled. The staff are all friendly and seem genuinely caring. Always very well-staffed.
The home itself is a little tired looking and could do with some general maintenance.
Overall, I feel my mum
is safe and well looked after here.

I am writing this review to thank all the wonderful staff in Anson House. My dear mum was a resident for 15 months prior to her death on 15.1.2023. She could not have received better care anywhere. I'm so glad that my mum chose to live at Ringway Mews when she found it hard living by herself, she is treated with dignity, care and respect by all members of the staff.
In the year she has lived there, her confidence as grown and she calls Ringway Mews her home. She has privacy, but also if the mood
takes her there is also someone to chat with whether staff or another resident.
If you're worried about a relative coming to stay for a while or to live here, please don't. It's an awesome place!

All the staff are attentive and are kind and caring to our dad. His communication is limited and his mobility is very poor so he is unable to engage in any facilities. Now after covid things are getting more normal again and we would like to take dad outside in the fresh air. He hasn't been outside
for over two years.

My brother is receiving excellent care. He is well nourished, always clean and although his dementia is advanced he is included in the life of the unit and always treated with dignity and respect. Medical care is excellent. He has improved physically while being here. The staff obviously like him and
take the trouble to interact with him. Very good value for money. Strongly recommend.

I find this home very caring not just for the residents but their families and they are very understanding. All the staff are friendly and very very caring. They have a lot of activities and try and include all the residents. My mother isn't the easiest to deal with and she can show very aggressive
behaviour at times, but they always find a way to distract her.

The staff on the Shackleton Unit are amazing with my mum, so caring and lovely to her. I couldn't thank them all enough. When I ring in, as well, they are so kind and accommodating regarding visits which have meant such a lot to me. Thank you for your hard work and kindness.

Always find the staff helpful. The last few visits, the room has been dirty, but I understand there's a staff shortage. Overall, I am happy with my mum's care. I feel that she is safe and well looked after.

Lancaster House have been taking excellent care of my mum for 14 months now, all the staff are friendly and helpful and Mum is so happy there. She is always clean and tidy and is given plenty of food and drinks! It gives me great peace of mind to know she is being cared for.

I have a lovely daughter who has a fierce love for life.
I enjoy travelling the world with my nearest and dearest.


Heather joined Ringway Mews as Home Manager because she shares Springcare’s vision of aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every resident. She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home
