I have been visiting my friend at the care home for several years. There is always a friendly welcome on arriving. The staff are always cheerful, caring and informative. The home is welcoming and clean and the residents always look well cared for. This gives me comfort in the knowledge that my friend is being well cared for by the professional and caring staff.

The activities that are put on are calendar based..., birthdays, national celebrations etc. Activity themed . Singing, painting, craft work. There's something for all abilities and very regularly. No lack of stimulation. Credit to Kelly.

Lack of "activities" at first was disapointing but new organiser now appointed.

I chose this home after speaking to one of the nurses who listened to my concerns and was incredibly knowledgeable about by Mum's needs. All of the staff were so caring and did everything they could to make Mum's stay as comfortable as possible. They all supported her rehabilitation in a kind and professional manner, keeping me informed of all they were doing.The progress Mum made at Meadiw View was incredible and I would highly recommend it to anybody.

I highly recommend hinstock manor all the staff are amazing as are Heather and clare both my parents were residents of hinstock manor my dad still lives here unfortunately mum passed away 4 weeks ago the care and compassion shown to my mum was above and beyond also to myself and brothers and of course my dad they truly couldn't do enough my dad loves being there he loves the staff he loves the food he's very happy always lots of staff around the place is very secure and clean the staff are all very very friendly

I just wanted to let you know my son had a very good experience and the caregivers we so kind to him and listened to him as it can be quite difficult to understand him at times.The staff were always very friendly and helpful with a big smile

The Cedars is a smart well maintained care home throughout. There is a comfortable lounge with a television and pleasant dining room. Both overlooking the grounds, with a patio where patients can sit out side. My relative had a big airey bedroom and bathroom. The food was good with a varied menu. People came in to lead exercise and entertainment each month.

We are very lucky to have this purpose built respite care facility in our area

During the short time that my dad was looked after in Beech House, I found every member of staff to be caring, hard working and friendly. During my dad's end of life care he was treated with dignity and respect and the nurses were compassionate and knowledgeable. My particular thanks to nurse Marie and carer Paul who went above & beyond. The facilities are clean, well maintained and nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou.

The dedication of the carers were to be commended. You hear so bad comments about care homes, but got to say Hinstock Manor, I would have no hesitation in saying to anyone who is looking into care home but to do there very best to put this one on top of your list.

The last 2 years of my father's life residing in The Cedars he was very happy and cared for. The family was always made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

I consider myself lucky to have been sent to Beech House for rehab. The setting of the home is lovely especially the garden. The staff couldn't be more helpful & caring. They are always cheerful. The food is good and there is no pervading smell of cooking throughout the building! An enjoyable stay in the circumstances.

Thank you for taking such excellent care of mum. This was her second stay at Meadow View and she enjoys it so much. The staff are all wonderful and they make her feel so welcome. It's a treat to relax whilst I'm away knowing they'll take care of her every need.

During my association to here I found the care and kindness first class. Can't say more than that. The permanent staff go above and beyond any expectations.

My father was in The Cedars from September 2022 where he received excellent care from the very beginning. The professionalism of all staff was never in doubt but it was the kindness and going the extra mile which my brother and I came to value over the years. A genuine warmth and an ability to 'read between the lines' to allow us a fantastic means of communication via video call when we lived a distance away. The staff was strongly led by the manager who 'sailed a tight ship' and all queries were dealt with promptly and resolved. As close to home from home as you can get!

I stayed a Cedars for one week for respite following a hip operation. All the staff were helpful and friendly. My room was elegant and comfortable. Food was good. Tasty. Cedars looked after my mother as a resident for 10 years. The staff and management are like old friends so I felt safe

In December I went along on a Monday morning only to arrive just before they were to be entertained with a pantomime. I was very moved & humbled to sit and share it with all, the staff were wonderful and it was a very happy experience.
