Although this is not a purpose-built modern building, it is very homely and welcoming. The staff were extremely kind and understanding. They took time to sit with my husband and talk about his interests. He was very comfortable there.

Over the Christmas period the staff did their utmost to make it a very happy festive season for the residents and for visitors too. We enjoyed the cheerfulness of the decorations and the beautifully decorated live Christmas tree in the lounge with a staff member carefully following the strict instructions
of a resident! During the extremely cold spell afterwards the carers and the caretaker made every effort to make sure that the residents were warm and comfortable. To return to the events of Christmas Day, the cook of the day is to be praised for serving such a wonderful traditional meal for us all. Once again I would like to stress the great care which is taken with the complete accuracy of our medication and specific dietary needs.

My grandma was very well looked after, The staff made my nans stay very pleasant and comfy she relaxed straight in.


Staff always greeted me with a smile and warm welcome and Nan felt at home instantly which was nice.
You could tell staff had a genuine care for her and it never came across as just

a job.


All residents on my visits also seemed relaxed and well cared for, I never noticed any lingering smells and the room and communal areas were always clean, tidy and well maintained, She also never had dirty clothes on and always looked presentable
Thank you to the whole team who looked after my Nan in one way or another.

My wife was treated and cared for to a standard that I could not have equalled at home and never thought that she would have required, myself and my family were constantly astounded at the quality of all staff who came into contact with all of us was second to none. We are all grateful to the care she

My sister spent the last 9 days of her life in your home following a year of battling pancreatic cancer. I was with her when she arrived from hospital for end of life care, from that moment we as her family experienced the wonderful service from every member of staff we met. You should be very proud
as employers that that they display such kindness and professionalism. We have only thanks and gladness that e selected your care home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

My husband stayed at Lawn House in the last stages of his dementia. He received excellent care from the staff. His room was peaceful and homely. I am so grateful that bis last days were spent in such a peaceful, loving environment.

Melbourne care home is a very caring place always looking to give opportunities for the residents to experience joy and something interesting. Mel the coordinator cares deeply about this and always comes up with exciting new ways to keep the residents amused. We visited on Monday to sing some songs
and it was lovely to see the residents have some fun and the staff engaging with them

We attended our first bistro evening on 20th Nov and our table for 3 was set up & labelled ready. We were offered drinks by the staff and our food was promptly served, I had the vegetarian option which was tasty and hot. We were royally entertained with music and live singing plus the favourites of
bingo and a raffle. Bistro Night was very enjoyable and all the staff muck in to include both residents and their guests in a grand evening. Thank you very much to Park House staff.

Melbourne House Nursing Home go above and beyond in every aspect of my dad's care. It's a home from home where staff really care about each and every one of their residents. It has exceeded all our expectations. We always feel so welcomed, and the staff immediately made us feel like part of a big family.
They have an amazing team; where staff are always cheerful and treat residents with dignity and warmth. It's been such a relief to know dad is in such a caring and supportive place. We are forever grateful for the love and dedication shown to dad and our family.

The staff are always helpful. The care given to my friend is excellent. And the Care Home is always clean. Staff always seem to be engaged with residents. My friend is happy and well looked after. She is given her medication every day.

Our dad moved into Melbourne house early 2024. Of course it was a difficult time initially, but Dad has settled into his home and loves the staff. He is treated with dignity and his ways are respected. I do sometimes with he would go out more on trips, but Mel and the team always invite him! So much
of the food is home made and dad always enjoys it!

My husband has been at Melbourne House just over 2 years, his changing needs over this time have always been met. The staff are very helpful, friendly and caring. The staff are always very kind not only to my husband but also myself. The staff are always around to meet his toileting, eating and drinking
needs. There is plenty of activities/entertainment activities to partake in or just enjoy. There is a regular hairdresser and chiropodist and a lady who does exercise classes for the residents. My husband is always and clean and tidy.

My mum was here for three months on end of life care plan.The home itself is lovely many rooms have been re decorated from the moment mum arrived she was made to feel very welcome and comfortable.The staff and I include everyone from the cleaners to the nursing staff are very friendly and dedicated.Mum

My mum was on end of life in Lawn Park care home and I was very apprehensive about her going into care but as she needed round the clock care it was the best option for us as a family.But there was no need to worry as the staff put us at ease straight away they all was absolutely brilliant so caring
and friendly from the domestics to the nurses and the management nothing was to much trouble .The home was immaculate clean. And everyone made mum welcome and she got the best care possible Thank you to all the staff

I think my mum is in the right place for her complex needs. There has been much improvement in day room since we first came. It is now beautifully decorated and very comfortable for residents and visitors. The staff are fabulous trying to make fun for residents with bingo, music, quizzes etc. The summer
fair and family food night was excellent.
