I cannot thank the staff enough. The care, love, support, and listening to family it is above and beyond. Thank you for your kindness and for how they treat the residents; it is truly amazing and compassionate. I sleep at night knowing my dad is comfortable, safe and happily cared for. The nursing home
is a credit, and I am so very grateful. The food is better than I have at my home, never hungry, always with so much to eat. Activities amazing. Thank you, Alison. I'm happy my dad is with you. Christina.

We are delighted that Mum has moved to Brimstage Manor. My Dad was also a resident here many years ago and it is lovely to see so many of the staff still here. Mum is so well looked after. She is clean, warm and clearly so settled here. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. The home
is spotless and the laundry service is superb. The food is delicious and wholesome too. As a family, we couldn't be happier with Brimstage Manor and are grateful to all the staff for their care, patience and kindness.

All the staff at Windy Knows Care Home have welcomed my mum with open arms into their lovely, homely home. Mum is known by all the staff who address her by name, and always stop for a little chat and a dance! Mum is encouraged to join in the daily activities, and we have recently joined mum on a day
trip to the garden centre, memories my sister and I treasure. Thank you to everyone for caring for mum

My wife has been at Brimstage Manor for 18 months. Doubts about moving from home have been eased by the care she's having, the family atmosphere, and how she's settled. The staff, in whatever role, are cheerful and engage sensitively with residents. Attentive and personal care is matched to people's
personalities and needs. Activities are enthusiastically led and organised. On-site management is brilliant: the manager and deputy are committed, imaginative and lead by example - their positive approach with residents, staff and relatives bringing significant improvements. Having five different social areas to choose from is important; the recent refurbishment of the home has made a big difference to its comfort and social life. During a recent illness the nursing care for my wife, and liaison with the GP, was excellent. On Christmas Day she was sufficiently recovered for us to have lunch together in her room, the table beautifully decorated and the service like being at a restaurant!
Reply from Macie Cox, Marketing Executive at Brimstage ManorThank you so much for taking the time to write such a heartwarming review. We are so pleased that our recent changes including refurbishment have made a noticeable difference! We are so lucky to have such fabulous management as well as the whole team who are loyal and caring.

I cannot speak highly enough of Windy Knowe. I have been so impressed with the level of care provided by every single member of staff. Nothing is ever too much trouble and everyone is friendly, welcoming and always has time to help.
There is genuine warmth throughout, with staff consistently smiling
and engaging with residents.
Food is excellent and visitors are encouraged to join residents at meal times, creating a lovely inclusive atmosphere with no restrictions on visiting The activities co-ordinator does fantastic feel supported. Overall Windy Knowe offers outstanding care in a warm, respectful, atmosphere - I am very happy with our choice.

Park House has cared for several members of my family, they were treated with respect and dignity. My mum is now a resident there, and she is well looked after, and she always says how nice the staff are to her. She always looks clean, and her room is always tidy. My only negative is that it's virtually
impossible to gain access during holiday times. My daughter waited almost an hour on Boxing Day and gave up in the end. I have mentioned this to management, and they said they would look into it. Someone should always be available to answer the door to family and relatives. Waiting this long is unacceptable.
Reply from Macie Cox, Marketing Executive at Park House Care HomeThank you so much for all of your positive feedback, we really appreciate it here at Park House! We apologise that this is happening with wait times at the door, we have looked into this and are acting on it so this doesn't continue to be an issue.

My Mum moved to Westwood Hall in the summer of 2025 as my Dad who was suffering from stage 4 cancer could no longer look after her at home. My Dad then himself became too ill to be at home and following a brief spell in hospital he was also lucky enough to become resident for several months on end of
life care. My Dad sadly passed away in December and my Mum still remains at Westwood Hall.
My Dad could not commend Westwood Hall high enough as do all of our family. The staff are all so friendly, cooperative and extremely approachable. The management are impeccable and extremely supportive and maintain excellent standards. The Dining hall, front lounge and main lounge are a perfect environment for the residents to feel "away" from their rooms and the external grounds in the summer months provide a calm exterior escape for both residents and visiting family. The home feels like an extension to our own home as we come and go frequently which says it all. Superb.

My Mum has been a resident at Westwood Hall since March 2025. She suffers with dementia and as a consequence now her mobility is severely impaired. In my opinion Westwood Hall is a well managed facility, clean, warm and welcoming to residents and visitors alike. All the staff, Nurses, Carers, Auxiliary
staff are professional, caring and friendly creating a homely atmosphere whilst ensuring residents have the appropriate level of care for their needs.
Entertainment is well planned and caters for all, the office support is strong and nothing appears to much trouble. Catering is good and the gardens are kept beautifully.
I have had very few concerns in respect to my Mum's welfare but any issues that have been raised have been resolved quickly and to our full satisfaction. Thanks to all the team for their on going care and support.

I wrote a review a while ago after my wife had been in Westwood Hall for nine months, in which I praised the Home for professionalism and caring of the staff, with friendliness for both residents and visitors. After more than two years, my wife still feels well cared for and I agree and cannot add
anything except regret that her being bedridden stops her using the facilities and gardens.

Mum was with Westwood Hall 18 month ago, and we had every confidence she was being cared for. Sadly mum passed away after 6 months, then dad needed more care and he too, went to Westwood Hall. My sister and I, and my dad, again have every confidence in this home. The manager and all the team ate great.
Highly recommend!! Nothing is too much trouble everyone us caring, attentive and listens to dad and ourselves. Great atmosphere and thank every member of staff for taking care of our precious mum and dad.

My Father went into Westwood Hall in April 2025. He has dementia with Alzheimers and it was a worry for us when he first went into nursing care at Westwood Hall. Dad settled into Westwood very easily and is happy there, the staff all know him by name and are very friendly to all residents and visitors.
The food always looks nice and all Dads needs are met at Westwood. Would not hesitate to recommend

Dad is always well looked after here, by cheerful and attentive staff.
He always enjoys his food.
He enjoys his occasional trips out on the minibus, and also the entertainment that takes place.
He also has a ladyfriend who is also a resident, that gives them both a daily interest.

My cousin was a resident at Oxton Grange for many years. The care was excellent throughout her time there, right up to her recent death at the age of 96. She considered OG to be her home and had a good rapport with all the staff, who respected her and made her life enjoyable. It was a joy to see her
so happy and it was comforting that she ended her days amongst her "family" at Oxton Grange.
Her family would recommend Oxton Grange to any prospective families looking for a place for their loved one.

From the first day mum arrived at Oxton Grange I knew immediately it was going to be the right place for her. She was made welcome by the extra-ordinarily briliant staff, but not just her, so was I. I was clearly a little anxious, a member of staff noticed & as I left, gave me a hug & told me they weren't
just there for residents but for relatives too. Believe me - these little things mean such a lot. I have no words to express how grateful I am to all the staff & I hope they realise how brilliant they are.

My mum has been a resident in Park House for 2 years now as a daughter putting my mother in a care home was the hardest decision I have had to make, but with the help of staff and management the transition was much better than I could ever of imagined. The staff right up to management are outstanding
with care my mum receives she is so happy in her home, which makes things so much easier, for myself and family, I'm so glad I found her forever home.
