My mum has been at Brimstage Manor for the last 18 months and I can honestly say I couldn't be any happier with the care she receives.
Every member of staff from the new managers, to the nurse's, carers, the activities coordinator, kitchen staff and cleaners are absolutely amazing, they treat every
resident as if they're their own mum and dad. They're treated with respect, dignity and love.
I really thank all the staff enough, or recommend this home enough.
The home itself as undergone a refurbishment and is now a beautiful bright welcoming home.

I can not praise all of the team at Windy Knowe enough, from the Caterers to Housekeeping, Carers to Nurses and all of the Management and Entertainment team.
I was full of anxiety and worry that Dad would struggle to settle into a care home setting. How wrong I was ! From the minute Dad arrived through
the door he was met with smiles, dignity and a professionalism that has kept him extremely happy, safe and very well.
Every person who works here is most definitely suited to their role and shows such warmth, compassion and good humour which is so important to my Dad and myself. All of the team work with a smile on their face and they all have time to say hello and let me know how Dad has been that day.
The endless activities sometimes have Dad thinking that he is in a club or even on holiday which brings me pure joy. It was such a hard decision to put Dad into care but I am so thankful to have found such a wonderful place so Dad can be happy in his remaining years. THANK YOU

Staff were excellent, kept us informed and were extremely helpful, my mother in law was very happy and putting on weight. She was enjoying her time at the home making friends with staff and other residents. The home is clean and well decorated. The food seems very good and my mother in law enjoyed most
of it.

I knew from when I entered the premises and received a warm welcome from the management team and staff that this was the right place for my mother. As I walked round, I observed that the residents were all settled and occupied. The building was of a very high standard and there were no odours present
generally associated with a care home. The room they suggested for my mother was substantial. However, we knew we'd fail at first base because it was green. The following day, it had been painted, and that was before we'd 100% committed. Nothing was too much trouble then and isn't now. They have welcomed us as a family and we join family get-togethers organised by the home. Activities are first-class and change constantly, keeping all engaged. For them, it's all about people and the staff are absolutely amazing and incredibly caring. Can strongly recommend this home! One very happy son and, most importantly, one very happy Mum.

Manager and staff are extremely kind and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Home is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Lovely setting close to Birkenhead Park. Security is good and clocking in and out is easy to do. My friend, who is currently a resident there, says that the food is really
nice and that the home is like a 5 star hotel.

Best thing we ever did! Had a great feeling about this place the moment we entered. Staff are cheerful with a can-do attitude. Even the poorliest are included. They're incredibly caring and nothing is too much trouble. Mum absolutely loves it there and said she'd cry if she had to leave now. She's really
settled, adores the staff and loves the food. She's made lots of new friends and the home did a great job matching Mum with other residents of similar outlook and ability. The activities lady is wonderful - a game-changer for Mum. Haven't seen her this happy and settled in a very long time. She says she feels safe now. The staff are very aware and spot things immediately. Everywhere is spotless, with every need attended to. From the cleaner to the chef to the nurses, all the way up to management, they are without exception an inspiration and incredibly hard-working. And they've made us feel very much part of the Brimstage family too, because that's what it is, a family.

Dad had a visit for respite care in December - A wonderful place, the team here really made dad feel at home. We popped for a couple of visits whilst mum was away having a break and the family couldn't speak more highly of The Grove. The importance of high care and understanding due to issues at previous
places really made the grove stand out and dad is looking forward to his next visit.

I cannot thank the staff enough. The care, love, support, and listening to family it is above and beyond. Thank you for your kindness and for how they treat the residents; it is truly amazing and compassionate. I sleep at night knowing my dad is comfortable, safe and happily cared for. The nursing home
is a credit, and I am so very grateful. The food is better than I have at my home, never hungry, always with so much to eat. Activities amazing. Thank you, Alison. I'm happy my dad is with you. Christina.

We are delighted that Mum has moved to Brimstage Manor. My Dad was also a resident here many years ago and it is lovely to see so many of the staff still here. Mum is so well looked after. She is clean, warm and clearly so settled here. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. The home

My wife has been at Brimstage Manor for 18 months. Doubts about moving from home have been eased by the care she's having, the family atmosphere, and how she's settled. The staff, in whatever role, are cheerful and engage sensitively with residents. Attentive and personal care is matched to people's
personalities and needs. Activities are enthusiastically led and organised. On-site management is brilliant: the manager and deputy are committed, imaginative and lead by example - their positive approach with residents, staff and relatives bringing significant improvements. Having five different social areas to choose from is important; the recent refurbishment of the home has made a big difference to its comfort and social life. During a recent illness the nursing care for my wife, and liaison with the GP, was excellent. On Christmas Day she was sufficiently recovered for us to have lunch together in her room, the table beautifully decorated and the service like being at a restaurant!
