Sandiway Lodge has such a great feel about it. Clean, wonderful staff so kind, caring and friendly, super professional. All the staff were amazing to Mum and always kept me informed about Mum, well being on my visits. It's probably unfair to single one staff member out but Thelma is a wonderful nurse,
so hardworking and dedicated. Thank you Sandiway Lodge for looking after Ruth so well.

After taking care of my husband for several years I felt unable to manage any longer. He was taken into respite care at Bucklow Manor Care Home. He has now been taken into full time care and has settled in well. The process went very smoothly with input from social services. It was agreed that the time
was right. Fortunately there was a room available for him. This took a lot of pressure off me. I have found management and staff very helpful and respectful. It is warm and friendly.
Reply from Macie Cox, Marketing Executive at Bucklow Manor Care HomeThank you so much for your kind words, we really appreciate it here at Bucklow Manor. We are so pleased this was a smooth transition for you as it can be very difficult. Thank you again for your continued support!

My husband's stay for post hospital care cannot be faulted in terms of the staff's attitude ,care , kindness , patience and encouragement. Everyone was always calm , cheerful and friendly.
The room was small but adequate and he liked the food provided .
The age of the building meant that it was very
difficult for him to get around in his electric wheelchair . His room and the rest of the building were always clean and well maintained .
The activity coordinators tried hard to find activities that he wanted to join in.
Due to the care of the staff he was able to return home eventually .
Reply from Macie Cox, Marketing Executive at Henning Hall Nursing HomeThank you so much for your lovely feedback, we really appreciate it here at Henning! We are so pleased that your husband was able to return home, he is missed!

My father in law went into Bucklow Manor for respite. From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming friendly & proffesional. Nothing seems to much bother. The support given to service users is excellent & always treated with dignity. It is kept very clean, food looks lovely, and the activities
are amazing. Well done everyone for all you hard work. My father is hopefully staying permanantly!

When my husband had a downturn episode with his health I was immediately contacted.
The necessary medical professionals attended so quickly.
A new care plan was made and put into immediate effect.
I have always been happy with the care my husband has received and it's 21 months since he has been
at Bucklow Manor and the standard of care and communication is beyond my expectations.
The staff are angels and on the visits I get upset they care for me too.
I'm beyond thankful and I continue to have peace of mind that he is in the best of hands.

This is an excellent car/Nursing home.
My mother has been in here for 6 weeks now currently for rehabilitation on discharge from the hospital.
Every single member of staff is fantastic they all make you feel so welcome & look after mum incredibly well ,I honestly don't have enough words to express
how fantastic this place is..
So clean, tidy, smells good, decorated well, I witness the cleaner one day on her hands & knees wiping Inbetween the radiator grill cover!! And they even clean the carpets in rooms.
Although all stuff are amazing, there's a couple that do stand out and are the ones I know the names of Sarah who wakes on reception is absolutely fantastic at what she does. Nothing is ever too much trouble for you and she always has time to listen to you, Doris the manager is absolutely fantastic. She also has time patience understanding and deals with things very swiftly and keeps to her word. One of my mother's carers. Joby is amazing with her again he has time patience.

Overall I cannot complain of the standard of care my father receives. He has always been cared for in a dignified manner and any medical issues have been dealt with quickly with concerned commitment from the staff. Every time we visit we are met by care staff with a smile and helpful. My sister-in-law is always clean and warm and does not seem distressed as we leave. We know that living at your own home is your first choice, but this is not always possible. Kingscourt are doing their very best. The staff are lovely.

Wanted to take some time to make sure I put together a review of Henning Hall. My mum was in there for nearly two years and throughout her time there, we witnessed nothing short of excellent care from everyone on the care team. They always had someone watching over the residents, who were never left
alone or we felt were unsupported. Always a friendly welcome and would offer you a cup of tea or coffee when you arrived, not to mention a slice of cake if you wanted! Very relaxed atmosphere, which made my mum feel happy and at home. Really nice activities to keep everyone occupied and stimulated. My mum continually wanted to leave previous care homes, but we never got that from her, when she was at Henning. She was happy and settled throughout her time. Real big thanks to the team for making her final days comfortable and most of all peaceful. x

In general, my experience was good. Support by staff was good and very prompt if you used your call button. Food was always good. My room was a bit on the small side. The physio was very disappointing. I was supposed to have psychotherapy every day, but this did not happen, and visits were very random.
Reply from Macie Cox, Marketing Executive at Henning Hall Nursing HomeThank you so much for your review, we really appreciate your feedback at Henning! Sadly we don't have any control on the physiotherapy visits as they are linked to the hospital not Henning personally.

My mum moved to the home when she was no longer able to live independently and lived there for over 2 years. She was welcomed from the start and received a lot of support in adjusting to her new situation. She celebrated her 104th and 105th birthdays there, with lovely parties on both occasions. When
it became clear that the end was near the staff did all they could to keep us as a family well informed and to make her comfortable. She passed away peacefully in the home in her own bed and in a room she knew well which was important to her and her family.

My brother, who previously lived alone and is very set in his ways, had to move into a care home. Despite this, the Managers, Care Staff, Catering team, and Activities Coordinator at Newton Hall have all warmly welcomed him and have taken their time to get to know him. They've all gone out of their
way to help him settle in and make living in Newton Hall comfortable.
His individual needs are respected, and he is always treated with dignity. He joins in activities when he chooses, and it is equally respected when he prefers not to.
Security is excellent and reassuring. I am consistently welcomed with kindness, and the staff are friendly and approachable, with a nurse in charge always available to speak with.
The lounges are bright and welcoming, with space to socialise, and the gardens are pleasant with a covered seating area.
We are very grateful for the care, compassion, and commitment shown by everyone at the home.
