I can't thank everyone at this care home enough for the wonderful care they give my nan. They always make sure all of her needs are met, and it's such a comfort to know she is happy, safe, and so well looked after.The care home is always clean, warm, and homely, making it a lovely place for all. All staff are kind, friendly, and genuinely cares about all the residents.One thing we really appreciate is being able to visit my nan at any time, It's reassuring to know we can see her whenever we want.The activities they organise are fantastic. There are daily activities for all the residents, which keeps everyone engaged, active, and enjoying themselves. Throughout the year they also put on wonderful events for special occasions such as Christmas, Bonfire Night, and summer celebrations, and it's lovely that families are invited to join in. These events create such special memories.

I have been incredibly impressed with the care provided at my nan's home. The environment is truly lovely, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels just like a home away from home. What stands out the most, however, is the dedicated staff; they are consistently kind, genuinely caring, and attentive to every detail. It gives our family such immense peace of mind knowing she is in such capable and compassionate hands every single day. I couldn't ask for a better place for her to be.

I came to the fayre as I am a grandson of a resident and it was fantastic. All the staff were brilliant and it was so well organised. A lovely care home with some lovely staff. The care home itself appears very well clean, very secure and very well looked after, the plants in the garden look great.

Davlyn Hoise is a fabulous care home with care and the dignity of its residents at the centre of everything they do. My Auntie has been staying here for more than 2 years. Initially it was only for respite Initially, and then decides to stay on as the staff work extremely hard for the resisent. They went to the forest park and river boats, church, and so many more activities. They have a specific activity person, and the staff are so super patient with the residents and my Auntie. I would move in myself!

There is a lovely, friendly and family atmosphere at the home. All residents seem very content and happy living here and all the staff and management are always very welcoming, approachable and supportive.

Dad has settled in remarkably quickly. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and I've been made to feel welcome whenever I have visited. It has a family feel to the home. The Summer Fayre was a great success for everyone. I have no concerns about Dad's care in Davlyn House.

I recently visited a dear friend in Davlyn House, and I was genuinely moved by the warmth, kindness, and care shown by every member of staff! From the moment you walk in, it doesn't feel like some of the other care homes I have visited- it feels like a true home, full of comfort, dignity, and genuine compassion.
The staff go far beyond simply meeting needs; they give their time, patience, and hearts to the residents! It's so clear that the people living there are not just cared for, but truly cherished and loved as individuals. The respect, laughter, and tenderness I have witnessed were all so beautiful to see.
I have even witnessed the activities the residents partake in and they're fantastic!
Knowing my friend is surrounded by such dedicated and wonderful people brings enormous comfort! This home is a credit to everyone who works there, and the care they provide is something very special indeed!

Meet the Team (2)
Lesley has been managing Davlyn House for more than 30 years. She is the heart and soul of the home, ensuring that every resident is provided with first-class service and the entire staff team have everything they need.
Lesley is a trustee for the National Dignity Council and a Dementia Friends Champion. She is also the Registered Managers' Chairperson and has been recognised as an outstanding individual carer in the Staffordshire Dignity Awards.
Lesley is very involved in the local community organisations including the Brindley Ford Residents association committee. Would you believe she has spare time to also be part of the Brindley Ford Village choir?
Fun Fact: Lesley will only drink tea out of a white mug and drinks from a glass, never a can!
Kerry has been at Davlyn House for 16 years, in that time she has achieved a Level 5 in Leadership and Management. Kerry is also a Dignity champion and Dementia friends champion. She has completed her AET (Award in Education Training) and is a key member of our senior leadership team.
Kerry has been invaluable in helping to make the business operation more efficient and introducing care changes into Davlyn House.
Her skills at Davlyn House go way beyond the operation of the home, she can often be seen in the kitchen making her famous Cheesecake (a favourite of staff and residents!).
