My mother in law has been a resident at Linden Lodge for 5 years. In all that time I have never had cause to be concerned for her care and treatment. The staff are like a big family. The activities coordinator Sarah, makes every effort to include all the residents and family in activities. They are always fun filled.
The manager is open, honest and friendly. She is knowledgeable and she definitely helped nurse my mother in law back to health after a hospital stay, where the prognosis was poor.
The home is clean and well looked after. The cleaning and cooking staff are top rated.

The home is cosy and welcoming, so much so, that visiting is a pleasure. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this care home to anyone.

My mother was in Linden Grange. Unfortunately she has passed away but the care she received was exceptional right up until the end. Incredible staff who supported us through this upsetting time. I now visit my mother in law who is looked after with the same outstanding care. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff go above and beyond. She really is settled and considers this to be her forever home. Thank you to all of the staff who take the time to make every day a safe and special experience for the residents. It is a pleasure to to visit my mother in law as she is really content and settled in this caring environment

Sincere thanks to all the staff at Linden Grange for the care and love they gave to our beloved mum. Every single one of them. From the admission process, settling in, day-to-day activities, to caring for her in the final days. She was so much more settled and content than previous home, was herself again. A happy family vibe from day 1.Could finally leave her without worrying, knowing she was cared for. Visits and trips out with family always supported. Encouragement to participate in organized activities/visits - particularly her interests in crafts and live singers. Clear communication - phone calls to postpone social events, GP/district nurse/physio liaising, shift handovers between staff, phone call if mum was unwell/unhappy. Supported her to be independent as possible, always with dignity and positive approach/smiles. Took time to know her, cater to her needs. It is the little things that showed their care way above their job descriptions, which meant so much to her, and us.

My Dad fell and broke his leg a week ago, he is my Mum's carer so I needed to get her into respite care fast, the manager and her staff were amazing from the first phonecall, reassured me that Mum would be well cared for and not to worry. They got Mums room sorted and she moved in the following day, one of the supervisors and the activity co ordinator greeted us at the door with beaming smiles and the manager introduced herself to Mum like she was family, from the minute you step into The Grange it feels like home. Everyone has a smile. Nothing is too much trouble. Dogs are welcome and Mum loves my dog so he goes to visit, hes made very welcome too! Everywhere is spotless, smells lovely and fresh, you can see that everyone who works there loves their job. The food looks lovely. Mum is enjoying her meals and has made friends while sitting eating her meals in the dining room. I honestly cannot recommend The Grange enough. The manager and all of the staff are simply "The Best"! THANKYOU!!

My mother was transferred from hospital out of County to Linden Grange. The staff, support and communication throughout the transfer and settling in period have been second to none. There is no job/request or query that doesn't go unanswered or given full attention.
My mum has settled well into her new surroundings and the care home feels like home from home.
Nothing is too much trouble, the staff regularly keep us updated of progress. They liaise effectively and efficiently with Drs and ensure that my mum receives the care required.
We couldn't have wished for a better home for my mum, we have all been made to feel extremely welcome.

A shout out for the amazing food too!

My mum has been a resident for a few years and I visit regularly as I live nearby. This morning I received a call to advise me they were having to cancel a social event (which family members are invited to) because of seasonal flu etc to protect the residents. It's an excellent example of both the extra miles the home goes to to provide a wonderful living experience for residents, the inclusive nature of the relationship with relatives and also the vigilance and care for the protection of the residents' wellbeing. This example is not a one-off. My mum was incredibly active and sociable but is now badly disabled and I always think it's a miracle she is so content being in one location and unable to move without help. It is down quite simply to the dedication, compassion and patience of the staff.

Since my dad arrived at LG he has come on leaps and bounds. Staff are amazing with him, I believe if he had stayed where he was he may have given up. All the staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. My dad is always clean and tidy, for the first time in 3 years I can actually go on holiday and not worry where he is and if he is safe. All meals I've seen so far look lovely. Thank you girls.

Linden Grange nursed both my parents back to good health after being hospitalised with pneumonia. The care that they received was exemplary and nothing was too much trouble, the nursing staff were extremely kind and thoughtful and the management team organised their care efficiently,My father was extremely independent and missed his garden, so they kindly arranged for him to help in the greenhouse and this gave him an interest in life and something to get better for, they arranged trips out to the local garden centre so he could buy his seeds to put in the greenhouse, these little things are so important in older people who are still with it , and they didn't go unnoticed by me.
My mother was difficult in recovering as she has a degree of dementia and is not the best eater, but they went out of their way to accommodate her dietary needs with locally produced farm fresh foods.

Without their stay at Linden Grange they wouldn't be independently living now, it was the best decision we made

My mother was in Linden Grange for six weeks respite care after spending sometime in hospital shortly after Christmas.
I can not say enough positive things about the staff and the care she received over the period time she was in.
Every single member of staff was smiley, accommodating and could not do enough to make Mum feel welcomed.
The staff took quality time to talk to her and even though she was only there temporary, she very much felt part of the home.
Management was excellent and extremely accommodating, they made what could have been a very stressful time, incredibly easy.
When she left she had a cry and so did I!

If I could, I would book a place for 30 years time, I can not imagine a better place to be cared for!!!!!

This care home is wonderful! The staff from the manager to the catering staff never fail to deliver first-class care. My mum loves the staff and her life there. There's a range of activities where all are encouraged to participate. The food and cleanliness of the home is first-class. The activities coordinator works hard to give the residents a variety of experiences, both within and outside the home. Even small concerns are treated with kindness and honesty. The open door policy of the manager, deputy and senior staff is obvious and even residents families are encouraged to join in activities and be a part of this "big family". My mum has been here 4 years and never once have I had a concern for her wellbeing or care. For me, it's a truly wonderful care home. The respect and dignity with which Mum is treated that means the world to me. I don't have to worry about her and that's such a relief. A huge thank you to each and every staff member.

My mum first went into Linden Grange for some respite after us caring for her at home.
The move then became permanent, the home was fantastic helping with this because unfortunately my mum has dementia but no power of attorney is in place.
The super friendly staff pointed me in the right direction whilst things were sorted.
My mum thinks the place is ace and doesn't stop talking about the snap (food) and how clean it is.
She talks about the place like she's on holiday in Spain in the 80's.

The staff are great and the place is great.
