The Home is incredible, the staff are fantastic, the food looks delicious & the level of care my mum recieves is brilliant.

Very positive review my mum has been at the home for a number of years ,she is treat with care and respect, the staff are wonderful with her and have the upmost patience, she has made some lovely friends and is always busy doing something I cannot thank the staff enough for the care and love that she is shown .

Mum has received excellent nursing care since coming to The Green, Hasland mid October. The home is well managed and staff are excellent - friendly and pay attention to details. I live four hours travel away so we come to stay in Derbyshire for three days every 6-8 weeks. That is hard but occasional video phone calls via Tracey have been very helpful. I am waiting for the day mum is allowed out of bed occasionally so she can socialise and participate in some of the regular activities, which residents seem to really enjoy. Thank you all.

Kelly the manager is pro active ,and her 'hands on' approach goes a long way to ensure the home is well run and managed to an excellent standard.

I would fully recommend this home for your loved one if a residential care home is your option.

I am delighted with the nursing home and environment for my father's palliative care. The staff are exceptionally kind and caring, providing unwavering support day and night. I highly recommend this well-run facility to anyone considering care for their elderly loved ones.

My dad's been in the green care home for nearly 3 months its a lovely home the staff are very friendly & caring there is plenty of activities too thanks to Tracey my dog loves going to see her grandad and the residents love her too really enjoy visiting dad there also any concerns get sorted quickly & resolved

My dad came to live at The Green in February of this year, after leaving hospital on end of life. When he arrived he was very poorly. Over the weeks that he has been there he has really improved. The Green is a lovely, friendly place to visit, we like to see dad as much as is possible. There are daily activities like keep fit, armchair sports which dad loves. Dad loves music and sing songs are a weekly thing. Music is very important to dad it help calm him and make him happier. Tracey regularly puts his favourite rock and roll on for him. The staff are really approachable and deal with any questions that I have about dad. The Manager is always on hand if I want to discuss dad. Overall it really is a pleasure to visit and is peace of mind for me that dad is being cared for so well.

My wife has been here for 18 months. I would definately not have my wife who has Lewybody dementia and Parkinsons anywhere else. I would love to take my wife home but of course I can't. It's hard for her but, the carers, domestics, nurses and all other staff and management are second to non. No care/nursing home is perfect, but the Green comes close. My brother-in-law has only been at The Green care home for a few weeks. I am so pleased with the care he has been given. I have seen an improvement in him in the short time he has been there. The staff seem caring and helpful. Daily activities, too. This will help immensely. Thank you to all.

Following a life limiting stroke and unfortunate previous experiences elsewhere, Mum came to reside at The Green in Hasland. I absolutely love this wonderful place, it really is such a caring and welcoming home with a lovely family atmosphere. Mum has been quite poorly and the staff at The Green have gone above and beyond to ensure the right care and medication has been put in place at every level and without hesitation. Most days there are activities or visiting groups to entertain residents and Mum has even enjoyed an amazing day at the seaside with some fellow residents - something I could never have done without the support of the staff. The Green is clean and fresh, with friendly happy staff willing to listen and support family members in times of need and residents are treated with care and dignity. I would definitely recommend The Green to anyone seeking high level trusted nursing care for their loved one.

The team are friendly and responsive helping our friend to quickly overcome their caution. The food provided is prepared on site and includes choices at each mealtime. Our friend is fussy but mentioned the freshness of food eg, soft bread.

Above all we know mum is safe, happy and well cared for and would 100% recommend The Green.

His room is small but has a lovely outlook and the atmosphere of the home is welcoming and bright .

My mother moved into The Green in September 2024 following a couple of unsatisfactory hospital admissions. She is now very comfortable, happy and extremely well cared for in her new home. I would not hesitate in recommending The Green to anyone who is seeking high quality nursing care in a very homely, clean and well maintained nursing care home.

My elderly aunt moved into The Green in March 2024 following a string of hospital admissions. She was made to feel very welcome. My Aunt had several health conditions, which meant managing her conditions complex at times. Unfortunately, my Aunt passed away on 17 December with her family around her. I can honestly say that the whole team was amazing. My Aunt had her favourite members of staff (you know who you are) who she loved and they loved her back; always showering her with love, care and attention... often popping in even when they were working on another floor! My Aunt made a very difficult decision in March 2024 to move into The Green but the team made her last months comfortable and for that, the family will be forever grateful.

My sister has stayed in quite a few homes but this one stands out for all of the right reasons. Friendly staff and residents up and dressed and attended to all of their needs. A big plus for my sister is that I am able to bring my little dog. The food is very good too!

It was our worst nightmare having to put our mother into a nursing home but the genuine love and care that your staff gave our mum was second to none. Keep up the good work you are an amazing team!

My mother had been a resident at the Green for the last year but passed away peacefully this morning. Throughout her time there we felt that she was very well looked after. She was treated with dignity, respect and love right up to the end by a team who genuinely cared. They were also very supportive of us as a family at a difficult time. The Manager and her team do a great job and I can highly recommend the Green.
