My wife has been here for 18 months. I would definately not have my wife who has Lewybody dementia and Parkinsons anywhere else. I would love to take my wife home but of course I can't. It's hard for her but, the carers, domestics, nurses and all other staff and management are second to non. No care/nursing
home is perfect, but the Green comes close. A big hug and thankyou to you all x

I cannot recommend 'The Green' enough. The staff are extremely caring for my mother in law and nothing is too much trouble. They also do activities like singalongs which she loves. If there are any health issues, we are contacted immediately and kept updated all the time.

Unfortunately Mum's stay at The Green was only very short as she moved there for end of life care. From the moment she arrived she was treated with the utmost care and respect, as was I during my visits. I was kept informed of all changes in her health and all my wishes were taken into consideration.
On the morning that mum passed away everyone we had contact with were superb - incredibly kind, compassionate and respectful. I really cannot recommend The Green highly enough.

On first impressions we were very impressed with the cleanliness and variety of public rooms. The residents room are comfortable and can made personal to them. An important feature for us was there was no unpleasant odour. The staff we initially met were informative and easy to talk to.
My relative
has been in this CH since Dec 2024. She has received wonderful care throughout. Initially she was very weak following quite a long hospital stay unable to feed herself properly and immobile but mentally very astute.
Almost 12 months on she has overcome all of this thanks to the care she has received.
The staff are kind attentive and understanding. There is a constant varied program of events and activities.
A recent new addition of a salon for the residents to be pampered is well liked.
The menus look amazing varying over a 2 week period.
Staff ratio to residents is very good.
My relative is happy and settled now she is her usual self.

Our mother initially went into The Green Care Home for respite care following a fall and inability to care for herself safely at home. She was initially reluctant to leave her home of many years and uncertain if this was the right place for her, and understandably it took a good few weeks for her to
settle. She now considers The Green to be her home and describes it as "like one big family". The staff have all been very supportive of her and communicative with us; they are friendly, patient and kind and take our mother's health and care needs seriously. We are enormously grateful to them. I would not hesitate to recommend The Green to anyone looking for residential care for their loved ones.

My Mum has been in The Green since Feb 2025
The level of care she receives is excellent
All the carers and other staff are always so friendly
Although my Mum doesn't join in much with all the activities especially in the afternoon as she usually goes back to bed after lunch , the staff always put
so much effort into making it fun for the resident's .

Its never easy making a decision for a loved one to go into residential care but the help ,understanding and care given to my mum and myself from all the staff and management was exceptional .
The home is very clean , well maintained and well managed , nothing is too much trouble for any of the
staff and they are always willing to help and advise be it for care issues or nursing queries.
There are regular meetings for relatives to update on events and an opportunity for relatives to air views or any concerns
Food is plentiful and vairied and there is regualr entertainment and activities .
I cannot fault The Green and would reccommend it to anyone who has to make that difficult decisison , your loved one will be in safe hands here.

After visiting Callywhite care home we were in no doubt this was the place for mums respite. The staff were lovely kind caring people and we felt reassured that mum would be well looked after. One week turned into a permanent residence as mum decided it was the place she wanted to be in. The facilities
were excellent and the care was superb. Mum was treated with care and dignity by all. The staff always made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately mums stay was quite short but the love and care extended to her and our family was outstanding. I would highly recommend Callywhite to anyone who is looking for high quality care for a loved one. We certainly experienced this for mum and are extremely grateful for the care she received.

The care and support that you gave to our family in the final days of his life will never be forgotten.
We hope that you are getting

Following a life limiting stroke and unfortunate previous experiences elsewhere, Mum came to reside at The Green in Hasland. I absolutely love this wonderful place, it really is such a caring and welcoming home with a lovely family atmosphere. Mum has been quite poorly and the staff at The Green have
gone above and beyond to ensure the right care and medication has been put in place at every level and without hesitation. Most days there are activities or visiting groups to entertain residents and Mum has even enjoyed an amazing day at the seaside with some fellow residents - something I could never have done without the support of the staff. The Green is clean and fresh, with friendly happy staff willing to listen and support family members in times of need and residents are treated with care and dignity. I would definitely recommend The Green to anyone seeking high level trusted nursing care for their loved one.

Our friend was admitted to the home after several falls and health problems causing increased frailty. They were cautious and uncertain about being in care after living independently for many years.
The staff at the Green include many locals which have helped our friend feel more at home. They speak
with him all the time helping overcome loneliness. A day trip with other residents helped to connect with them and to reassure that they would be treated with care and respect.
The team are friendly and responsive helping our friend to quickly overcome their caution. The food provided is prepared on site and includes choices at each mealtime. Our friend is fussy but mentioned the freshness of food eg, soft bread.

My mum has been cared for over the last year at The Green, Dronfield. At all times I have found the staff attentive, involved and caring towards my mum. Everyone knows their role and are keen to listen to relatives and understand how they can best support mum. I have learned that the more I support
them and ask questions, the better they can care for mum.
The staff know the external support mechanisms (NHS and NHS Adult healthcare for Older adults) and can help navigate that bureaucracy.
Placing mum into a care home was a massive step for all involved. The Green and the staff understand this and have been hugely supportive to all parties. I would certainly recommend The Green.

Prior to mum moving into The Green we had looked at various homes and this one stood out.
It is clean and welcoming. The staff are an incredible team who are friendly, caring and go that extra mile, always with a smile. It is just like being part of big happy family.
The catering team do an outstanding
job the quality and choice of meals is wonderful.
The entertainment is so diverse and not just your stereo typical bingo, they go the extra mile to ensure everyone is involved.
Above all we know mum is safe, happy and well cared for and would 100% recommend The Green.
