My wife attends daycare on a Tuesday each week, this is her second attendance. I feel very happy and confident when leaving her there because I feel and gave seen how she is looked after by staff, it's a lovely clean residence with helpful people. Nice food and warm atmosphere. Glad I have taken her there to also gives me a rest and she seems happy, which makes me happy as well.

The staff are really friendly and supportive. I cannot believe that my husband settled her so quickly. If he is happy then I am happy and more settled in my mind. The home is spotlessly clean and the food is excellent. I cannot praise the activities team enough as they provide a wide selection of activities, entertainment and outings to keep the residents engaged and happy. The management is efficient and always helpful. Well done to all the team.

Brillinat staff from kitchen to carers and management team. Residents are treated with dignity and get good stimulation from staff with activities such as reading, singing and one-to-one care. A hard-working, conscientious team that really care not only for residents but also for their family. Dad settled in quickly when I thought he never would. Well done King William!

On entering the home the staff are always welcoming and friendly. Everyone of the staff are helpful and always approachable if you need to ask them any questions. They keep me well informed of my mother's health and care, nothing is too much trouble.

I am very satisfied with the level of care my mother receives at King William. All the staff are brilliant and look after her very well. The only negative is top-up fees, these cannot be justified in any way.

Dad has been resident since December 2015 and in all that time we have been impressed with every aspect of the King William's care, dedication and constant cheerfulness. Dad is in his 100th year and is very happy and grateful for everything they do to meet his needs. Catering is excellent and the activities are varied and imaginative.

Every time I visit, the home is always clean and tidy. Residents are dressed and well cared for. I have seen the meals served at lunchtime and they are wholesome home cooking. My sister always says the food is good and there is a choice.

The general care of my mother has been exceptional. All the staff seem to care genuinely, however, incidents like clothes, shoes and especially underwear and her hearing aids going missing have made some visits stressful, and some useless.

The room is lovely that she sleeps in and her hair and nails are always immaculate. She has always been a smart attractive woman and this carries on at 91.

Review from Jean S (Sister of Resident) published on 20 September 2017 Submitted via Review Postal Card

From what I can see of the home when I visit my sister, it seems to be well run. I think sometimes, it would better to see their regular GP rather than the home's GP as they know the patients better. My sister seems to be well cared for and we have no serious complaints. The layout of the lounge could be better planned out and those with mobility issues may sometimes struggle.

I am quite happy with King William as a care home for my mother. Good food, clean bedroom, friendly staff and good care. If anything I would like to see more use made of the good outside garden when the weather is suitable, a nice conservatory would be good.

Through my personal experience with King William of Ripley, I would not hesitate to recommend the care home highly enough. The staff were totally professional in all manners from the care staff to the manager and domestics. They all went above and beyond the call of duty. I was always greeted with a smile and a welcoming attitude. They supported me right to the end. I could not have wished for better care for my mother. Please don't hesitate to use their services.

Hi, I’m Phoebe! I absolutely love having a good chat and getting to know the families and individuals that give us a call. My goal is to make the process of finding the right home as easy and reassuring as possible.

This is something close to my heart — I’ve had two of my own family members stay within our group, so I truly understand how important it is to feel confident and comfortable in your choice.

If you call us during the week, chances are you’ll get me on the other end of the phone. I’m always happy to answer any questions you have — and if I don’t know the answer right away, I’ll make it my mission to find out for you. I’ll be here for you every step of the way, making sure you feel supported, listened to, and at ease.
