My mum has been in the home for 6 months and has really settled in well.

All the staff are really caring and provide excellent one to one support for mum. Mum really feels at home and now looks at the staff as part of her extended family.

After a number of different care homes which we reviewed, we visited the King William. We were bowled over by the warmth and care we received on a spot visit. My grandmother has lived there since October 2016. She looks so well cared for, the entertainment which is daily gets everyone involved, not to mention the hairdresser who comes on site to the house salon. I popped in the other day for a chat and catch up, was offered a cuppa and biscuits whilst my nan had her nails done. We chatted about the upcoming social event at an Easter fair and was shown pictures of my nan doing crafts the previous week. The staff are caring thoughtful and the manager is always around for advice along with her key worker.

After relocating my grandparents from abroad to the King William some 8 months ago I am pleased to say they have settled in well. The staff are friendly and helpful to both residents and visiting family. The food is good (I have tried it) the home facilitates entertainment for the residents and allows me to visit anytime day or night which is reassuring, both my grandparents who are in the mid-nineties are happy here. In the summer they spent much time in the gardens and we also went on shopping trips into town and even a visit to the pub. I am glad I chose this care home.

My mum is well cared for in King William, I'm satisfied she is happy and content she would say or give me some indication if she wasn't. She is secure which is important her room is nice and she has settled lovely. She used to go once or twice a week since 2014 so she thinks it's her home now.

My mum went into this home permanently this month. I couldn't have wished for a better home for her. She loves it there. The staff are so caring and friendly. My mum is looking so much better now she is in there. Her room is lovely, spacious and the food is really nice. She is looked after really well. She has her hair and nails done and they have a good programme of entertainment. I can't praise them enough.

My husband is in a very caring and safe place sometimes he has a fall but the carers are very quick and make sure he is well taken care of. The place is always 100% clean and even though my husband does not always join in with things there is always something happening.

The food is really very good and my husband enjoys his food. The staff do a remarkable job.

The home is excellent but both my parents smoke and they could do with a shelter to smoke in as they are left in the rain. They would settle a lot better if this was put in place. Food, staff are lovely, cant fault them.

Hi, I’m Phoebe! I absolutely love having a good chat and getting to know the families and individuals that give us a call. My goal is to make the process of finding the right home as easy and reassuring as possible.

This is something close to my heart — I’ve had two of my own family members stay within our group, so I truly understand how important it is to feel confident and comfortable in your choice.

If you call us during the week, chances are you’ll get me on the other end of the phone. I’m always happy to answer any questions you have — and if I don’t know the answer right away, I’ll make it my mission to find out for you. I’ll be here for you every step of the way, making sure you feel supported, listened to, and at ease.
