The staff at Hunting Court are exceptional. All are helpful, friendly and accommodating. From the delicious smells around meal times, I would say the food is very good and I have been offered to partake on many occasions, but haven't been able to stay. The place itself, unfortunately, is very dated.
The rooms would be better with Jack and Jill bathrooms between rooms, as opposed to them having just a sink in each room and everyone having to share with everyone. Would be possible in my opinion. The building is big enough. The garden is a little unkempt, only bits being done by residents' families. The common rooms are lovely with seating enough for all residents to watch TV together, sing-song, play games etc. There is always fresh fruit and juice or tea and coffee available on the side in these areas. The visiting rooms however are sparse and not very inviting. There have been management issues for a good while, but I have been informed that problems have been sorted, and things are being put in place to improve the interior etc. Care is more important than anything, which is what is ample here. Will be fabulous with renovations.

MY aunt has resided at Huntingdon Court Loughborough for the last four years. She loved being at the home where she was really well cared for by wonderful staff. Toward the end of her stay when her health deteriorated she was so cared for and they did everything to make her comfortable. She was so happy

My sister and I have always been pleased with the care that Mum has received at the home. The staff are all kind and friendly when we phone or visit in person. She is always clean and tidy in her appearance. Although her room is a little dated, to us that does not matter. Her care and well being comes
first and that's what she receives at the home. My only concern is that they seem to be short-staffed at times given that most of the residents have Alzheimer's dementia and I think their needs are greater at times.

Quite simply this is my mum's home. She has lived here for 4 years and regards the staff as family. She shows obvious warmth to the staff and it is returned by them. She is happy and content and the daily routine helps her to live well with dementia. Mum is treated with dignity and care and is seen
as her own person in this community
The staff are friendly and helpful and know all the residents and their relatives. They take a pride in seeing that Mum is appropriately dressed and looking nice. The laundry service is excellent.
The home and Mum's bedroom is always clean and fresh. The food is well cooked and plentiful. Mealtimes are a highlight in my mum's life. There is always a tea trolley in evidence and the kitchen staff are happy to make cups of tea for visitors.
I would be happy to recommend this caring and happy care home.

Mum's care and welfare are managed to our satisfaction. Any issues we raise about her care are acted upon and feedback provided.
Mum had her "favourites" amongst the team and responds accordingly however due to her loss of mobility she does find the chair hoist a very distressing event due to her
"injured" back suffered some time ago.

When you first step in you can notice the friendliness of the staff. All difficulties that residents have are treated with respect, kindness and dignity. My friend seems very happy there and is looking and feeling well.

Since our mum has been a resident of Huntingdon Court she has been treated with the utmost dignity and care. The staff are always cheerful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is excellent. The cleanliness is second to none. There's a lovely little garden where residents can sit on nice
days and enjoy the fresh air.
We as a family can have peace of mind knowing mum is safe and secure.

My mother has been a resident at Huntingdon Court for nearly 4 years and is extremely happy with her care. I visit alternate days and have always been impressed with the manner in which all residents are treated with respect and dignity.

When we first visited Huntingdon Court we noticed the homely and caring feel of the home. Over the years my grandfather has been living here, we have seen the home make many improvements in terms of the decor and furnishings. My grandfather has a lovely room and the home and his room are always clean
and tidy.
The thing that has always stood out is the staff, their friendliness, dedication, care and love.
My grandfather has always been happy here and it's clear how much the staff care for him and the others residents. We always feel secure in knowing he is so well cared for and the home always contact us if they are concerned about anything.

From the time since my initial investigative visit, their assessment of mum at home, admission and following care, the family have found Huntingdon Court to be an excellent standard. There is an open and honest approach, all of the staff seem to be part of the team and have always been friendly and
approachable. The management actively encourage resident and family involvement and suggestions/criticism for improvement. We would have been happy for mum to stay if it wasn't for the need for nursing care.
