Mum is content here, and that is a sign she is happy & cared for. The surroundings are clean and regularly updated. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and approachable. Very happy with everything. Also really appreciate the relatives' meetings.
Thank you so much for your very kind review, which is very much appreciated - we are delighted that your mother is happy, which is a key goal for us and also that you are able to participate in the regular relatives meetings, which are so important to us as a way of getting feedback and input which helps drive continuous improvement
I have always been welcomed and treated well whenever I have visited my sister-in-law. She has always seemed happy with being here and I know that any issues she has e.g. food intolerance have been noted and adhered too. Also the activities I've seen have been appropriate and encouraging for the residents. When my visits were likely to be more difficult and I'd need transport I was assured I could spend the day here on a visit and even enjoy lunch etc.
thank you so much for your lovely review which is so much appreciated and it is great to hear that your family member is so happy at Kirby Grange
Mum had a fall recently which resulted in her having a hip op and also pelvic fractures to recover from. The staff and managers have been absolutely fantastic in giving her the extra support she has needed to get her up and walking again. They are so helpful and patient with her as her moods make her a challenge to talk to and deal with at times. We are so grateful for all their hard work and dedication.
very many thanks for your very kind review which we will be sure to pass onto the staff team who i know will be delighted with your feedback - thanks again
My uncle has been at the residential home for over two years. He is very happy at the home and he gets incredibly well looked after. He is treated like a member of the family. As his main carer and relative, I have peace of mind that all his needs are met over and above what I could manage on my own. I would and have highly recommended Kiry Grange.
thank you so much for your very kind words which are very much appreciated - Kirby Grange is indeed very much like an extended family community and the feelings that engenders does appear to make residents very happy certainly compared to the more austere and 'remote' atmosphere in some large new build homes - we really try and make Kirby a family oriented home from home - thanks again
My Mum has been at Kirby Grange Residential Home since 2018. I cannot fault the care that she has been given by everyone at the home. My Mum has Alzheimer's which has progressed over the years. She is treated with dignity and kindness. The home is well run. I would have no hesitation in raising any concerns with the management, should I need to, they are very approachable and hands on. The staff are superb and caring. The home is clean and welcoming.
it has been a pleasure and honour to have your mother living at Kirby and she is a core member of the Kirby community. I am over the moon with your feedback , for which many thanks and i will pass onto the wonderful staff team who i know will be delighted to know they are doing such a great job. Thanks again
Very happy with the care. Staff are very friendly. Best in the area.
wow ! what more can anyone say "Best in the area" ? very many thanks for your very kind review
We moved Mum in May 2024 to Kirby Grange due to their knowledge on caring for dementia residents and after inspecting their home and services provided. Unfortunately Mum passed away in Nov 2025 but the care she received during her time was absolutely outstanding. The attention and personal treatment was heart warming to see and during her finals days, she and our family, were supported way behold what would have expected. The dignity and respect, alone with their living attention - made us all feel that she was in the right place to guide her into the next life.
The staff will forever in our hearts
thank you so much for your review especially at this very difficult time for you and your family . The staff team will be delighted with your feedback which we will be sure to share with them. I see that there are some areas where you had some minor reservations so i personally would love to have a chat with you to see how we might do better . thanks again so much for your review
The staff are appraochable, very caring. All members of the team Management, nursing, ancillary and kitchen staff know their residents well, know their likes, dislikes and ' little ways'. They became family to her.
Mum passed away peacefully this week. They were supportive to mum as well the family at this very emotional time.. Nothing was too much trouble.
I could recommend them enough. Their care and dedication is second to none.
Well done to Laura, Maria,Sarah and all the team for your hard work and dedication.
I shall miss my visits.
a million thanks for your most generous review especially at such a difficult time. Your mother was a much loved member of the Kirby Grange community and she is very much missed by all of the staff team who i know will be delighted and most grateful for your comments - again many thanks for your review
Always plenty of staff around and home is spotless.
Gardens do need some work but they are gradually doing that.
Lovely area for visitors to help themselves to a refreshment
thank you very much for your kind review - in the past year we have created a new garden area to the front of the home and from my perspective seriously revamped the Courtyard garden - your input as to what we could do to further improve would be most appreciated so if you have a few minutes i would be most grateful if you could please contact the manager or myself
Everything has been excellent, all staff are kind and helpful but make sure you are doing as you should. Food has been fabulous. I have enjoyed every meal and expanded my tastes.
thank you so much for your kind review - we are delighted that you have enjoyed living at Kirby Grange so much
A year after my mother moved into Kirby Grange, we are still impressed by the staff who all go the extra mile. Kirby Grange feels like a real home rather than an institution. All this has made such a difference to Mum's safety and well-being and as family, we can rest easy knowing she is well cared for.
Thank you so much for your generous review. We are delighted that you see Kirby Grange as a "real home" and that your Mum's well-being has improved so much because that's exactly what we strive to do and for people to see that being in a caring environment is actually better than being alone - thanks again.
I can't recommend Kirby Grange highly enough. You won't find a more gentle, kind, and safe home for those needing residential care. The newly decorated and furnished lounge is lovely - a welcoming space for residents to chat with their guests over tea and biscuits. A big thank you to the staff of Kirby Grange who arranged so many thoughtful and entertaining events for the residents this Christmas as they do throughout the year.
Thank you so much for your lovely review - the staff will be so pleased to read it and to know that their immense hard work is so appreciated. Despite the incredible economic pressures on the care sector, we intend to continue to invest further in Kirby Grange - watch this space!
Mum has been a resident for over 2 years now and is happy and well looked after. Whenever we visit there is always a friendly welcome from everyone. Everywhere is clean and tidy and Mum always looks well, she enjoys having her hair styled.
Thank you so much for your review - it's lovely having your mother living at Kirby -she is a much-loved member of the community.
My aunt has been a resident long-term so the team knows her well and always respects her needs and acts with sensitivity. Her needs are quite complex as her sight, hearing, and mobility are very poor but she is happy with her care. As her next-of-kin, I am always kept advised of any issues relating to her care. I certainly chose Kirby Grange wisely.
Thank you so much for your very kind review - we will be sure to share it with the staff team who are always delighted to hear that residents and relatives alike are happy with their work and the overall experience at Kirby Grange - it is to us a very special place and its great to hear that you share that as well.
Such a kind and friendly home. Every member of staff is so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. I have only praise for the kindness and care shown to each and every resident. I leave my auntie after visiting knowing that she is safe and well cared for. I would recommend the home to anyone. Thank you to everyone for their care and hard work.
Thank you for your kind words, it's lovely to hear your feed back we will pass these comments on to all our team.
Mum has been a resident at Kirby Grange for the past three years. During this time I have only experienced good things about the care home. Both the staff and management are very good and kind. I have no hesitation in recommending Kirby Grange. It is excellent.
Thank you so much for your most generous review - it is very much appreciated.
Thank you to everyone who made my Christmas extra special for me by my wonderful visit to a nail bar for a lovely manicure, it was so very kind of the person that spent the time to take me. I so appreciated the gesture and once again, many, many thanks. Special thanks to the manager, she was brilliant.
Thank you for sharing your kind words, we will share this with our team. We had to make your Christmas wish come true and have those nails sparkly for your family occasions.
I would like to thank all the staff for everything you do to help with our mother's care. Not living in the UK has been very difficult for me but I have full confidence in her care. Nothing seems too much trouble. Encouraging her to eat before going to sleep. All those things make a huge difference to her well-being.
Thank you so much for your fulsome review which I will be sure to pass on to the staff team who will be delighted to read your comments. I hope that if and when relevant as Kirby Grange has WiFi throughout the home, you are able to use video etc to talk to your mother - again many thanks for your review.
My mum has been a resident here for 5 years. I have found the staff very caring and very understanding of my mum's needs. She has dementia and this illness brings its own challenges. I feel they have always been very supportive. I am always contacted straight away if there is a problem. The care home is very clean and welcoming.
Thank you very much for your lovely review - I will pass this on to the staff team who I am sure will be over the moon!
All staff are amazing, they all treat my mum with dignity and respect but are friendly and it is obvious that they know her well. The home is always clean and welcoming. I am always informed if there is anything I need to know regarding my mum's care. My mum is very settled there. Thank you Kirby Grange!
Thank you for your lovely review - we are delighted you are so happy with your mother's care and as always if there is anything we can do to improve in any way, please let us know.
