The home encourage relatives, friends, and other visitors to spend meaningful time at the facility and participate in day-to-day activities, aligning with the preferences of both residents and guests. My sister recently diagnosed with mixed dementia has been a resident for the past three months. She has been kept clean, fed and treated with respect by all the staff. Even the cook showed concern when she started refusing food. Her bedroom has always been immaculate and the whole building is clean
with no odd smells. We are always made to feel welcome and have appreciated having cups of tea with sister.

My mum was in this care home for a year before she passed away and she was very happy here. I couldn't fault the care she got so when my dad needed to go into a home, I had no worries about him coming here too. I can't speak highly enough of the staff here, they genuinely care about your loved ones.

Can't fault the home in any way. My father loves this places and never wants for anything. The food is mainly homemade and wholesome.
I'd like to think that when I'm old that I could be in a lovely place like this.

My aunt has been a resident at Aberry House since 2005 and in that time have given my aunt excellent care. I have over the years spoken to the owner as a friend. Also I'm deputy for my aunt and the court of protection have met me there and have been delighted with her care.

The staff in general were very caring towards my father and to for the staff I would highly recommend Aberry house-a big thanks to those staff. However, I would be very wary about costs in particular £250 extra per week for an 'enhanced' (a bay window and approx 1m x 3m bigger) and also the NHS contribution
not being taken off the bill initially. Although these were both sorted out and we didn't pay any extra, I find it disturbing at best that a relative not realising their rights may pay and also that an organisation whose purpose is to 'care' wouldn't recognise this themselves.

My mum was transferred to Aberry House from another place when sadly her condition needed nursing care to make her comfortable in the last few days of her life. I cannot express how wonderful we found the staff and carers of Aberry House from the beginning and the end. Our mum was treated with dignity
and respect. Our family was welcomed and treated us very kindly with sincere offers of hospitality. Thank you it made out grieving so much easier.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Aberry House for 7 years. For 4 years she has been bed bound, needing nursing care. At all times she has been cared for in a manner maintaining her dignity and in a caring, compassionate way. Her changing needs have been met and as relatives we are alerted to
any problems immediately. The care staff, many of whom have been there for the 6 years of her residency, are to be highly recommended on their caring, professional attitude.

My mother has been at Aberry for nearly 5 years and our family have been very satisfied with the way she is looked after. On entering the premises, they are always clean and tidy with very rarely bad smells. The staff are always very friendly and answer any questions you may have. My mothers bedroom
and bathroom are always clean with the bed made.

Staff are extremely friendly and caring. Management seems good but could possibly improve communication as to what the home offers i.e. help with hospital visits, how prescriptions are dealt with, televisions in rooms, activities etc. Also the costs were a little vague on admission. Communication from
staff is excellent, I'm always made aware of any problems. Overall I am very happy with the care offered and am sure my dad is very well looked after.

Overall my Dad is happy and contented. He very much enjoys being look after by the caring and happy staff. He enjoys the home cooked meals and regular drinks and snacks. l have family abroad and feel comfortable leaving dad in the care of Aberry House while l am away.

The staff are caring and competent. My mother has been a resident for over 8 years. During this time she has had a number of problems which have all been dealt with well and care and consideration. I have no worries about leaving her at Aberry House. It is a safe and happy environment where the staff
