My mum started with respite care in September 2021 at Arbor House and then became a full-time resident. Mum was hesitant about going into a care home but the staff are so wonderfully caring that Mum now loves living there. She has settled well and enjoys having a sing-song with the other residents.
I know it must have been immensely difficult for the staff during the Covid-19 pandemic and I am immensely grateful that they kept Mum safe during this time. The home is spotless and Mum says the food is excellent. The only improvement I would like to see at Arbor House is an activities co-ordinator so that the residents are encouraged to partake in different activities to stimulate their physical and mental well-being.

Very pleased with the way care as well as precautions re covid have been handled by both the home and its staff since my uncle entered the home for palliative care in January 2021. My aunt’s well-being since has very much improved and her stress levels equally reduced. I’ve experienced no issues giving

Good care package, attentive staff, friendly, helpful and reassuring. Clean, decent meals, easy to book visiting appointments. Covid secure, safe environment. My mother seems happy and well-looked after and monitored with good feedback and communication.

My brother has been at Arbor House since July 21. He has got Alzheimer's. I will say he has not been the easiest resident for them to manage but I feel that they are doing a good job with him. They are always able to answer my questions when I call. It has been a difficult time for us all but their
care and compassion is brilliant. It is not easy for any family to see their family member going through what our brother is but when you know he is being cared for by caring people it does take some of the weight off your shoulders.

My mother has been a resident for over 3 years. She has been provided with excellent care and sees Arbor House as her home. I have no concerns about my mother's daily needs being met and feel confident that she is well looked after and happy. Staff are always friendly and caring. Better video/facetime

Arbor House has been the home for my Aunty for many years. The staff are so friendly and compassionate always giving 100% care.

My mum came to live in Arbour House a year ago, and it’s been the perfect place for her. The home is intimate and friendly, warm and relaxed. Whenever I visit I see the staff being caring, good-humoured and kind to all of the residents. They are a wonderful asset and the heart of the home. Mum has

My grandmother has been a resident at Arbor House for a number of months and has settled in well. The care that the workers have shown towards her is exemplary and they have made her feel very welcome. It is lovely to see that they treat her as they would one of their own family members. The staff are
always cheerful and try and make you feel welcome whenever you visit.
What has been really reassuring during the lockdown is that the staff have carried out video calls so we can speak to my grandmother.
The home has a welcoming feel about it and is always clean. The bedroom could do with updated décor but this is a minor point when considering the home as a whole.
One thing that is clear about the home is that the manager is very passionate and proud of the home that she runs. If we have ever raised an issue, she has dealt with it quickly and assured us that the well being of my grandmother and other residents is paramount.

My mum has been a resident for approx 3-years, and I couldn’t fault the care and compassion delivered by the manager and the fantastic team. We are in absolutely difficult times at present due to Covid 19, and it is so hard not being able to visit our mum, but the staff at Arbor House have been so reassuring
that my mum is being well looked after and also managing to arrange face calls during their busy day. Thank you; this means so much.

The care given to Mum and also latterly Dad (who was only admitted a few days ago) has been excellent. Nothing seems to be too much trouble to the staff, and they all seem very caring, considerate and cheerful. Mum and Dad both seem to be well looked after, and both have been complimentary about the
staff and the care they receive. Please keep up the great work you are all doing!
Also, the home has always seemed very clean and generally well presented when I have visited.

The care staff and catering staff were praised by mum. She said how caring and supportive they were and nothing was too much trouble.
As a visitor, I would agree with this. I found them very helpful and obliging.
The lady in the office always made time to answer questions and deal efficiently with
any issues that arose.
Mum was a temporary resident at Arbor House for 5 weeks.

On my visits to Arbor House Evington, Leicester, I have found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The interaction that they have with the residents is kind and very caring. What I have seen of the food is good. There is a good variety and choices are given. They make every effort to keep
residents occupied with activities etc. Iw ould recommend Arbor House highly.

My sister is suffering from Parkinson's. She has been in Arbor House for 2 years now. She took a while to settle in but she is very happy there now. She tells me the staff are very kind and caring. I and my wife visit once a week and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The carers are always ready
to help and very friendly with visitors. My sister tells me she looks forward to her meals.

My stepmother loves Arbor House, everyone is so friendly and supportive. She has lived there since December 2016 and intends to stay there. The home is very clean, and the rooms are ideal. My stepmother, for the first time since her 3rd husband passed away, feels safe and enjoys being around the other
residents and staff. She is happier now than she has been in the nine years previous.

My father is cared for 24/7 physically, emotionally and intellectually. He is always well-kept and his room is neat and tidy.

As a family, we were very anxious about putting our mother into a care home but our anxieties were soon reassured when we came to Abor House. All of the staff have been wonderful and caring and they have made her feel very welcome. We would highly recommend this care home to anyone in this situation.
