Most of staff are lovely and approachable, must state tho I really think there should be more than one hoist, for the amount that need the user of one, especially seeing some bursting to go to toilet and having to wait a long time love how Tracey is with patients. There are a couple of staff I find just don't want to talk to you. But overall happy.
Since Mum arrived at Cooper House, she has improved lots. Staff are really caring and helpful. Nothing is never too much. The home is always welcoming, well presented.
My mother was placed into respite care as an emergency. This has been our first experience of a care home. All of the staff, from the manager to the maintenance staff, have been friendly and professional. As I don't live locally, I have visited every day for 6 weeks. The care and attention that I have witnessed say in and out has been exceptional.
Cooper House: We could not of had any more, care and hospitality today. When my fathers sister in law & nephew visited today. Family get togethers for the elderly are so so important. I cannot fault this home, the staff & managers. Always a pleasure to visit my father.
I brought along my mum, who is resident in a nursing home, to join her brother in law for lunch at the kind invitation from the home manager. This was made even more special as staff advised there was enough food for my cousin, the resident's daughter, + myself to join them. Moreover, in a separate room upstairs, which my uncle described as his penthouse! The staff were a delight in serving of the food + making sure we had all that was required. It was a special memory for us all. Thank you.
Everyone is friendly, my dad is very happy.
Cant fault the staff very good with the patients and family members. Always there to help.
Activities provided are well delivered and are really enjoyable encouraging all to participate.
I have to say that overall I believe this to be a first rate facility well run
Always a good sign when residents appear to be happy to be there
Very good care home. My brother is well cared for. The staff are friendly and helpful. Attentive to my brother's needs and keep the family informed.
Respectful carers treating residents with good care and dignity. Very clean and well maintained home, bright, modern and very well kept both inside and out. Approachable senior staff that take on board your requirements and needs. The home cooked meals are well balanced and nutritional. Overall, I would highly recommend this care home.
My sister's care at Cooper House is 100%. The staff are very kind and caring and work very hard to support the residents. Thank you for looking after my sister.
I am impressed with the amount of care and help in this lovely care home.
My mum seems very happy at Cooper House. Staff are lovely and always friendly. There's always something going on to keep the residents happy whether it be crafts or visitors, from singers to pets. Would recommend.
The staff at Cooper House are very caring of my mum and perceptive of her needs. They are also supportive of us as a family and always inform us of changes in needs. My mum's meals are complete and ever-changing. The care team and staff liaise with the medical team if they notice any concerns. They continually keep me informed of any worries. Thank you.
All Cooper House staff are approachable and nothing is every too much trouble to ask. Kind, considerate and caring.
The staff are all lovely, very friendly atmosphere and are very caring to the residents needs. The food is lovely and the entertainment is great.
The manager has certainly turned the home around, she is amazing.
Mum has been in Cooper House for three months. In that time she has been treated with so much care. I feel comfortable leaving her after each visit as I know her needs are met and she will have all the care she needs. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make Mum and visitors welcome.
Lovely home, always makes you welcome, tea and biscuits, look after my mum really well. Staff are lovely. Would recommend this home to everybody.
Mum has lived at Cooper House Care Home for nearly three years. I highly recommend the care home and Mum is very happy there. The staff are so nice and friendly, caring and respectful and considerate of Mum's feelings. Always a happy atmosphere. Management and office staff are very approachable and easy to contact. I am always made to feel welcome. Everyone is treated with dignity. Mum has a cosy, clean and tidy room. Her laundry is done daily. The food is excellent, good choice and all home-cooked. Staff sort out Mum's mobile to ring me daily. She is always happy and she loves the weekly hairdressers!
My husband has only been in the home for a week. I am very pleased how he is being looked after, all the ladies here are very friendly, everywhere is so nice and clean.
