He often tells us how much he enjoys the meals, the activities, and especially the company. It's a huge comfort knowing he's safe, well cared for, and in an environment that truly feels like home. Whenever we visit, we see how happy and relaxed he is, and that peace of mind is priceless.
Thank you to everyone at George Hythe house for giving our family the gift of knowing our loved one is in such capable and caring hands. You've made a difficult transition so much easier, and we're incredibly grateful.

The Home is clean and tidy. Nothing is too much for any of the staff and management. My brother relation and family love seeing the photos on social media and even they have seen the change in my brother.
I struggled terribly when I had to put my brother in the Home, calling the Home visiting all the time as I was so worried and concerned, but everyone was great reassuring that my brother was fine. Now when I go i am lucky if I get 5 minutes with him as he is so happy doing things he had never done before
I can not thank all the staff members and management for the marvellous job they do.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt review. It means the world to us to hear how happy your brother is and how supported you've felt throughout his journey with us. We understand how difficult it can be to make the decision to move a loved one into care, and we're truly grateful for your trust....
The manager, the events coordinator, cook and all staff care for partner 100% to make him cared for and comfortable in an environment up to Feb 2024 was alien to him. I thank you all. I'm also made so welcome by staff and other residents and their families.

A first-class group of friendly and caring staff supported by head office. My parents were residents, unfortunately they have now both passed away. We as a family made friends with all the staff and residents, you could not wish to meet nicer people. We cannot thank them enough and wish them all the best for the future.
Thank you Terry for your kind words, that is wonderful to hear that you had such a positive experience. I know that your parents were cherished members of the George Hythe family and they are missed greatly.
My sisters and I have spent a lot of time in George Hythe House since Dad moved in the home six weeks ago. We spend hours in there and witnessed every part of the day. The staff genuinely care for our dad and all the residents. We have witnessed them attending their every need. After some recent scares with Dad, which has meant we have stayed with Dad in his room, they have showed compassion for Dad and support for us.
Anything constructive we have mentioned, such as the restaurant did not require tablecloths, the next day, new place mats were in situ and it looks very smart.
Leaving Dad in a care home was so hard, but we know he is in very safe hands. The staff are so caring and I believe they understand and empathise with how we feel.
Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us. We're glad to hear that your dad is receiving attentive and compassionate care at George Hythe House. Your feedback is valued and we're here to provide the best possible support for your dad. We are honoured to take care of your father and are...
Very happy with the care home and care provided for my Dad. The food is good and plenty of activities, very clean inside and out and genuine care among staff and management. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to provide quality care for their loved ones. Thanks again.

We are so glad you are so happy with the care your dad receives and are happy with the quality that is provided throughout the home. We really appreciate your lovely review and are so honoured we are able to care for your father.
My wife first entered stage one of her care in September/October 2018 (day centre) following a diagnosis of vascular dementia. Full-time care began in late September 2020. Throughout her care at George Hythe, the staff (new and old) have treated her with consideration and allowed her the dignity a once highly talented artist, teacher, wife and mother deserves.
Dear Martin, we have been honoured to care for your wife over the past years in all aspects. We are so grateful to be trusted with such a responsibility. Thank you so much for your kind words in regard to our staff and the care they give, I will be sure to pass this over to them.
Vibrant residential home on the edge of North Leicester. Easy access to the city and country. Four wings, each with its own lounge. Central dining and activities area. Great environment, clean and tidy. Great management and staff. A varied programme of activities and trips. Good needs, food, drinks and snacks. Excellent medication regime
Thank you so much for such lovely feedback, it is so appreciated by all management, staff and residents to see how appreciated our home is! We are so glad that you have such kind things to say about all and I will be sure to pass this along to the home!
My mum is happy, relaxed, settled and safe. Her clothes are always clean and she has frequent baths. She eats well-cooked food that she enjoys and is well cared for. There are fun activities for residents and their friends and family. Last year, Mum was taken on a day trip to Skegness. I am confident that George Hythe House has my mum's best interest at heart. If I have any concerns, the manager listens and acts.
Dear Rosie, thank you for these kind words. This has been passed on to the team. It is nice to hear back from families about their satisfaction and happiness with the care provided at George Hythe House.

Vicky is the Registered Manager at George Hythe House and has been working there for a whopping 20 years! She knows her home better than anyone and is a fabulous manager who knows her staff and residents like family.
When asked, Vicky said her staff would describe her as firm but fair, which we have seen to be true in the well-organised and fiercely proud team that she has created.
When not at work, you would normally find Vicky spending time with her little girl where she enjoys going out for meals, specifically a cheeky Nando's & trips out bowling! If not, she would be at home with her cat, Gismo. Vicky's favourite Quote: "Fly like a bird, sting like a bee"

Ishani is an amazing Administrator who plays a key role in keeping the home running smoothly. Highly organised and dependable, she ensures day-to-day operations are well managed. Alongside her efficiency, Ishani is also very creative and enjoys taking time to paint with residents, bringing joy and meaningful moments to the home.
