Bramhall Residential Home

This is the second time my wife has been in Bramhall and although only for two weeks, her stay has been most beneficial for her. The care and attention afforded her has been of the highest order and is an example I will strive to equal when she returns home! Since she is unable to write I am doing this on her behalf and also on the observations I have made when visiting her. In considering future possible requirements, I already have Bramhall at the top of an ever-increasing list!

Food is excellent.

My mother has been living in Bramhall Residential Home for nearly a year. Residential care planning is never easy and Bramhall management and staff have helped my mother and the family through that period. They treat the residents with care and respect and are equally good at sharing a laugh and organising activities. The house and rooms are bright and clean and Mother looks forward to her regular meals. Communication with the family is good too with regular phone updates as necessary.

The staff were wonderful with my mother-in-law, even though her behaviour was at times extreme. A big thank you to all at Bramhall.

I feel the staff have tried hard to get to know Dad in order he gets optimum care.

My father was placed in Bramhall after the unexpected death of my mother as he had the clear beginnings of dementia. The staff at Bramhall provided excellent care for my father with dignity and respect. I would like to see an improvement in the food and for someone to take my father out in his wheelchair occasionally, but overall, I am happy with the care provided.

A very friendly family-run care home with the most friendly dedicated staff who we all look upon as one big happy family. I am frequently impressed by the lengths they go to in order to improve the well-being of residents. Their patience and thoughtfulness often leaves me over-awed and lost for superlatives.

Since moving to the care home in December 2021. My mother has received the highest level of care and has always been shown respect.

I was very anxious about Mum having to go into care but after 16 months I don't believe we could find a better home. The staff have dealt with any issues promptly and professionally. Mum has really settled and she is so well looked after. We are updated and kept informed regularly with any changes with Mum's care and find everyone so friendly and caring.

When my mother arrived at Bramhall a year ago, she was heavily dependent on medication. Through help at Bramhall, these have been significantly reduced and she is now able to have a much better quality of life. Her personal care is excellent and her room is spotlessly clean. There is always a carer available for help or reassurance. All members of staff are approachable and concerns are addressed. The community area is light and airy and residents are encouraged to sit together and join in with activities, lots of mental stimulation. The food is excellent and lots of tea and biscuits. I definitely recommend Bramhall, excellent care.

All the staff were respectful and caring. Dad enjoyed his stay and said the meals were excellent. Five staff across the board.

Mum went into Bramhall in June 2020 because her dementia prevented her from continuing to live on her own any more. In this very difficult time of Covid, Mum was given the best possible care that she could have been under the circumstances. She died in December, and I miss her and the time that I felt e should have had together. Nevertheless, I think the home treated her like family, and I could not have wished for better.

We cannot thank the staff enough for kind care and attention given to my dear Mother in Law. She is so happy with you all.

The care home is always well maintained and always very clean. The staff/management are always very helpful, especially over the last 4/5 months with the virus issues, I cannot fault the Bramhall home in any way. They are brilliant.

Excellent all-round care being provided to our mother. She is 92 with all her faculties. Has little contact with other residents due to many with dementia etc. Loves the interaction with the super staff.

Mum has settled into life at Bramhall. The staff have worked hard to develop a routine which suits her. Mum is very sociable, and the staff show genuine warmth when they interact with her. Mum has physical issues and was diagnosed with dementia in 2016. Prior to moving to the care home, she and I lived together.

Staff go above and beyond in helping my Mum and my family to feel safe and secure and involved in activities.

Home excellent. Clean, light and airy. Rooms of high standard. Staff - outstanding. Helpfully and always cheerful.

Bramhall is exceptionally clean and airy. My husband has spent some days and nights in the new build side of Bramhall Care Home. The owners and staff are warm and friendly and very caring. My husband (a retired Squadron Leader, RAF) was happy to be left in their care whilst I had some needed respite (age 87). His overnight stays were in a lovely en-suite room. Exceptionally clean in all aspects with a wall-mounted TV, essential call button and looking out onto most attractive and immaculate gardens. The room also had nice armchairs for visitors. he was happy to mingle with other residents.
