Following a crisis, my dad has been a resident at The Cottage since December 2022. My overall experience of the home so far is excellent. The staff and management are super caring and friendly. My dad is back to his old self after years of self-neglect. He is joining in the activities (which are excellent)
and has fitted in so well. I cannot thank the staff enough for getting my dad back. I would highly recommend.

The Cottage care home at Nocton is amazing because all the management and staff care and I cannot praise them enough. The Cottage is a happy place and is like a family. The care my dad received until he passed was of the highest possible level - care, consideration and dignity at all times.

The care provided for Mum continues to be the best, she lives in a warm, safe, caring and clean environment. During the time of covid, the staff maintained this to ensure her daily life was maintained to this standard. I am very grateful to everyone involved in her care and well-being.

The staff at The Cottage are always really positive and helpful. They look after Mum really well and keep me informed on how she is and what she's been up to. I love the activities that take place, I think these are really important for Mum's health and wellbeing. Mum is very well fed and is doing really
well at The Cottage.

My Mum was a resident in The Cottage for a few years, the care she received from all the staff was excellent all the time, from all staff, the one thing I loved most was receiving a Xmas card from my mum which I hadn't had for a few years but with the wonderful key worker helping her and posting the
card for her was such a wonderful gift for me, the activities they do with the residents is excellent keeping them active even doing the gardening and planting of pots, I would recommend this home to people, it is in a lovely setting and the home is clean and well equipped, I thank all the staff for the wonderful care my Mum received.

Mum has been cared for by the wonderful staff at The Cottage since 2017. She has become part of the family in this lovely care home. Whilst it is quite a small community in comparison with other care homes, the residents are made to feel part of a family.

The staff are kind and caring, making

sure Mum is well health-wise, mentally, and comfort-wise. Definitely not an easy job looking after a 90-year-old lady with dementia, I know, but they do a grand job.
They provide plenty of distractions/activities and appear to really want to help Mum's life to be as enjoyable as it can be in the circumstances.

They keep me informed of any issue or problem, contacting me immediately, and throughout the pandemic to my knowledge, they did not have one case of covid in the home - a credit to their vigilance.

I would definitely recommend this home without any concerns.

What an awful experience we had, managed to get her out.
A terrible manager who spoke about someone else’s health and then admitted she was mistaken. Left in the room without to or anything from 5 pm until morning.

My mum was in the care home for over 5 years until her death in February. She was so well looked after by the kind and caring staff. I never had a moment's concern even during lockdown when I wasn't able to see her. The staff have to be commended through lockdown and when the home opened again for
visiting - there were no Covid cases. I was always kept well informed and there was always someone to speak to if I had any questions. They also gave fantastic support to me and particularly in her final weeks when she became very ill. I cannot recommend the home highly enough.

My mum has now been in the care of the staff at The Cottage for three years after my wife and I cared for her at our home. The staff are fantastic. My mum had a stroke recently and the recovery has made is astonishing. This is all down to the care and support the staff have provided. I cannot thank
the staff enough for the love and help they have shown to my mum. This home is one of the best in the country.
