The care given to my mother is excellent. She is in a wheelchair but brought daily into the lounge / dining area by staff for meals and social connection and they always ensure the residents are happy and their needs being looked after. The staff are friendly and helpful and always have time for a chat with the residents and visitors alike.

The care home ensure there is regular entertainment, walks around the village, trips out and so on. They also ensure regular visits from hairdressers, chiropodists, vaccinations are up to date and so on.

I'm very pleased with the level of care my mother receives and I have piece of mind knowing she is happy there!

The care my father received at St. Michael's was superb. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff there. All staff, not just the carers treated my father extremely respectfully, taking care to understand his wishes and taking the time to talk to him about his life.
As family, I was always made to feel very welcome and the staff always knew exactly how my father had been that day. Whenever my father's condition worsened, I received calls from St. Michael's to inform me, giving me the confidence that they were monitoring him closely.
On the day that he passed, the staff were extremely supportive and helped me a lot.
Placing my father in the care of St. Michael's was the best decision I could have made, both for him and for me.

Thank you so much, all of you.

We are so grateful to St Michael's and the fabulous staff who supported my Grandmother during a respite stay. From the moment we contacted St Michael's they went above and beyond to help us: helping with the transition and discharge from hospital, ensuring a speedy start date was arranged and completing forms etc.
Upon arrival, my Gran received the warmest welcome with carers helping her in and getting her settled into the room. Carers demonstrated such respect and dignity for her, with diabetics needs supported through regular communication with the appropriate nurse teams.
She rebuilt her strength and independence at a pace that allowed her to return home after a few weeks. The social opportunities were fantastic too - flower arranging, ice cream van visits, Xmas meals out, bingo and songs/ music!! Wonderful!! Gran told us how tasty the food was and enjoyed the variety of meals.
The home was always clean, warm and warm welcoming - a home from home!

Thank you so much to the team!

St. Michael's has got mum singing again!!
For years, living alone, mum always said she couldn't sing anymore (she used to sing professionally). We just accepted it - old age robs one of a lot.
Imagine my suprise and delight when, after 6 months of living at St. Michael's, I heard that old familiar, beautiful voice - the one she thought she'd lost- singing her little heart out!!
This is what St. Michael's does for it's residents.
They are so well cared for in every respect, the atmosphere, the good food, the cleanliness, the friendliness, and the professionalism can only have one outcome - contented, happy, secure residents who have found the best care home in Lincolnshire!!

A huge thank you to you all.

Mum spent the last 18-20 months of her life in St Michael's care home where she was very well cared for.

The staff do an incredible job in very difficult circumstances and we will be forever grateful .

St Michael's provides a caring, family atmosphere for residents and their visitors. The use of residents and family meetings enables a positive rapport to develop and constructive ideas to be put into practice. All the staff are friendly and responsive while maintaining a professional approach. A wide range of activities are provided. My father appreciates the monthly "service" and visits from the local vicar, as well as benefits from the twice weekly "exercise" sessions.

This home was excellent in the care it provided, from the domestic staff, catering, carers and management; everyone was approachable and acted on requests/concerns promptly or at the earliest possible time (i.e. needs a haircut, nails need cutting). Was treated with care, dignity and respect at all times. They also dealt with the pandemic while still giving excellent care to the residents.

I used to visit my grandad regularly and was always greeted with a warm welcome, cup of tea and biscuits, even when you could see the staff were busy they always went the extra mile to make my family and I welcome. The home has a wonderful atmosphere and the staff are always smiling, nothing was ever too much trouble. My grandad was always treated with dignity and respect to the very end. He would often say what a lovely place it was, even when the end was drawing near. We all felt supported as a family by the manager and staff from the first day of his admission to the home. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for care, you certainly won’t find a better facility and staff are all fantastic. Keep up the good work.

I came here last November as I'd been in hospital and needed 2 or 3 weeks respite care. I was feeling good and ready to go home but couldn't because my central heating boiler was broken. I was pleasantly surprised when I did get here; ALL the staff were very friendly and helpful. I was greeted warmly; shown my room and then shown all around the care home.

Mealtimes are regular (never late!). The food is really very tasty. The dining staff will make sure you have the food you like (there's plenty it and seconds are always available). Everything is spotlessly clean with a real air of homeliness. All medical needs are catered for (with a smile). I have been made very welcome and now see many of the staff as friends. There are often trips out to somewhere nice, I've enjoyed them.

My late husband spent a year at St Michael's, but he was not the only one to benefit because the staff and management, bless them, cared for my wellbeing as well. I stopped cooking or eating because he had had to be put in a home and after 65 years of marriage, this broke my heart. There was always a cuppa and a bickie every time I visited, and he was cared for so well all his little idiosyncrasies were met where ever possible, and he settled in very quickly.

My father's time at the home was short, but the quality of the care and the compassion shown to him was brilliant. When he died, 3 of the staff came to his funeral which was lovely and a strong reflection of their genuine care support both to my Father and also myself. The care manager was extremely supportive and made time for me and my Father, especially when things got difficult. Knowing that my Father was cared for and safe gave me incredible peace of mind. Nothing seemed to much trouble and you were allowed to visit at any time which showed that the centre was very confident in its care provision. The food was superb and cooked on the premises which seems very rare these days and visitors were always offered drinks and biscuits which is a lovely touch and makes you feel very welcome. My Father particularly enjoyed his cooked breakfast each morning! Overall, I was extremely pleased with the care for my Father and would recommend the home to anyone. Thank you to St Michael's.

My mum has been a resident at St Michael's since June 2018 after making the difficult decision that she could no longer manage in her own home. From the outset, every member of staff has made enormous efforts to ensure Mum settled in and is happy and comfortable in her new surroundings.
As we do not live locally it was important that we had the opportunity to talk to Mum and also get updates on her general well being and whenever we call we are always given time to discuss any queries we have before speaking with Mum. Likewise, when we visit we are always made to feel welcome and can spend as much time as we like with her. We are also encouraged to take her out.
The home is always clean, the staff welcoming and friendly and engage with all the services users in a friendly happy manner.

Overall we are extremely happy with the care and services provided.

My father enjoyed the last days of his life at St Michael's following hospital discharge. Although dementia had taken hold of him and he was not aware of his surroundings, he made positive comments before his hasty demise.
I found the staff at St Michael's being of the highest quality, approachable, helpful and obliging to attend to my father's needs.
Having worked in the ambulance service for twenty years, I am well qualified in assessing the care and environment that my late father encountered.

P.S. Activities, food and drink are subjective due to my father's condition.
