In addition to the popular dining rooms, residents can also enjoy mealtimes in the outdoor spaces on sunny days. The catering team prides itself on making mealtimes something to look forward to each day, providing an enjoyable experience for all residents and their loved ones.

By getting to know each individual resident at The Gardens, the team pride themselves on offering an engaging and varied lifestyle for all residents. Whether it be participating in the wellbeing and activities programme or retreating to a quiet spot, they are committed to helping residents to lead their best lives.

From the first moment that I met the manager, I felt confident that this home would be ideal. Subsequent visits both strengthened that first impression. Furthermore, each member of staff that I have dealt with has contributed to the atmosphere of care and attention. I am grateful to them all.

Job Title: Home Manager

“Kind care to me means being respectful to others at all times, treating each and every Resident as an individual and giving them choices in each aspect of their life.”


As a dedicated healthcare professional, Victoria has gained a wealth of experience in providing care to elderly people to help enrich their lives, leading to her progression as Home Manager. She has enjoyed a successful career in the care industry so far, gaining an NVQ Level 4 in healthcare, as well as a Registered Manager’s Award.


Victoria closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that means they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoyed most about her role, Victoria remarked: “My favourite part of working at HC-One is spending time with such a kind, caring team to ensure that Residents are cared for to the best of our ability.”


Victoria credits her biggest achievement to celebrating a fantastic 35 years of marriage.


Outside of work, Victoria enjoys gardening, playing card games and spending time with her pet cats.
