Management and every member of staff at Westfield Nursing home always go above and beyond to care and treat my mum with kindness and respect. Communication about mum's medial needs is excellent, and nursing care is executed with skill and knowledge. The staff likewise treat my sisters and I with the same kindness and respect as our mum, many have become friends and help to make our visits feel like being part of a family. Thank you.

My husband was admitted as an emergency for 'end of life care'. We had been planning for admission, I had visited the home and planned to have him admitted but things happened quickly. The staff from the manager, care staff, cleaning to catering were excellent. The care and attention my husband received was excellent much higher than my expectations. I wish he had been admitted sooner to make his end of life more comfrtable.

My dad loves the food, numerous cups of tea and squash, biscuits and cakes are offered in between meals. He is clean and tidy, entertained and settled.
Cleanliness is 5 star , everywhere is neat and tidy. The staff always have a smile on their faces & nothing is too much trouble. Thankyou for everything#teamwestfieldamazing

I cannot enthuse enough about Westfield House. My mother has advanced dementia. She is double incontinent and requires two people to move, wash and dress her. Having been in for just over a year, she is better now in terms of her look and demeanour than when she went in. Despite the various leaky bladders and worse, the home never has any unpleasant smells. Something you only realise afterwards as smell usually only becomes memorable when you notice them. All the staff have an enviable level of professionalism. They always organise plenty of activities to vary the long days. The food is amazing and the chefs seem to prepare all the food from scratch and provide varied meals for breakfasts, dinners and teas.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your lovely review for Westfield Care and Nursing Home. Your positive feedback and kind words about the care, meals and activities will be shared with the staff team. It is our pleasure to care for your mum, here at Westfield.
Staff care for my mum with great compassion, she has some hearing loss and does struggle understanding, communication staff from other countries.
From my observations staff "run off their feet."

My mother moved to Westfield from hospital on Christmas day 2023. From the first day the staff have been fantastic with their care for Mum. Staff have kept me informed of Mum's condition throughout her stay and have always been available when I needed them. Mum suffers with Dementia and on occasion needs a lot of care, this is provided by the staff with care, empathy and professionalism.

I have always been more than satisfied with the care that my sister receives at Westfield Care and Nursing Home. She has been a resident at Westfield for a number of years and I have never felt the need to worry as to the care and attention she receives. Family medical problems and covid have made visiting difficult but I have always had peace of mind regarding the care and attention my sister receives.
Thank you for your lovely review of Westfield Care & Nursing Home. We are so pleased to hear that you are happy with the care we provide for your sister. I will share your kind words with the rest of the team.
The staff are fantastic. They are constantly checking to see if my mum is ok and interacting with her. Nothing is too much, from feeding her jelly babies and just sitting with her to helping change and dress her. I can’t thank them enough.
Thank you for your kind feedback on Westfield Care & Nursing Home. We are pleased to know that you are content with the care our staff team provides for your mum.
My dad was given a place at Westfield Care and Nursing Home in February 2023. I visited the home prior to his admission and right from the start I was impressed by the friendliness and kindness of all the staff. Everyone who comes into contact with Dad has treated him with kindness and respect, and I mean everyone, the nurses, carers, cleaners, the manager and the administrator too. You can tell a lot about a care home from how happy the staff are in their work, and whenever I have visited Westfield I notice what a joyful atmosphere it has. Carers and nurses smile and laugh with each other and with the residents too, including my Dad, it is a pleasure to see. Sometimes I have read reviews where people say nothing was too much trouble for the staff and thought it was a cliché, however, that is genuinely my experience of the staff at Westfield, nothing is too much trouble for them. I will always be grateful that my dad was given a place at Westfield, I can relax knowing he is always in good hands.
Thank you for your extremely lovely review of Westfield Care & Nursing Home. We are pleased to know that you are happy with the care our staff team provides for your dad and that he is happy at our home. I will share your kind words with our team.
My Aunt has lived at Westfield Care & Nursing Home for nearly 2 years. She has settled really well. She loves her room, the meals and the outings to all the different places. We cannot thank the staff enough for all the care and dedication to making the residents feel they are at home. My Aunt was thrilled when a recent visitor to Westfield was a little dog. It made her day. Thank you

All staff (manager, receptionist/admin, nurses, seniors/carers, housekeeping, chefs/assistants, activities and maintenance) provide excellent care and services. They are a lovely bunch of people, kind and caring and nothing is too much trouble for them.
Westfield is a warm, friendly and homely place and is kept very clean and tidy.
The food is very good and drinks are available all day.
The activities team keep the residents occupied with indoor and outdoor activities (weather permitting). They are also taken on day trips out.
I would not want my husband to be cared for anywhere else and would highly recommend Westfield to anyone looking for a care and nursing home.
Thank you all for looking after my husband and for all the support and care you have given me. I now have peace of mind knowing that he is being very well looked after and well cared for.
Thank you for your lovely review and for your kind words. Your feedback is appreciated and it's lovely to hear how happy you are with the care Westfield Care and Nursing Home provide for your husband. Best regards.
My mum has been a resident here for over six years and has been very well looked after. Her dementia needs, both medically and socially, have been met accordingly and we can rest assured that she is happy and safe. There is very much a homely, family atmosphere here. Activities and celebrations can be enjoyed by all. Mum particularly enjoys any musical activity which is so beneficial for her and lovely to see. The quality and quantity of food are very good and the food provided for special events is amazing! Mum's dietary needs are well catered for and her intake is carefully monitored. Mum is treated by staff with care and dignity. They know her well and good relationships have been formed with her. We too appreciate the friendly manner of the staff team where nothing is too much trouble from the dedicated medical and care staff to the reception, kitchen, housekeeping and maintenance staff. We enjoy visiting Mum here and we are very reassured knowing that Westfield is Mum's home.

Thoroughly professional and friendly throughout our visit. I live away and don’t see my mother very often so, to see how well she is looked after, gives me a lot of relief. I am confident she could not be spending her final years in a better place!
Thank you for leaving a review for Westfield Nursing Home, it's wonderful to hear how happy you are with our care for your mother. It is our pleasure to care for her as part of our family here at Westfield.
My husband has been a resident at Westfield Care & Nursing Home since the end of February having transferred from another Care Home. The manager leads a team of caring staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble. My husband is always well cared for and is treated with dignity and compassion. The team recognise that this is a difficult time for me too, as my husband’s condition deteriorates, their kindness and care helps enormously. Care plans are under constant review and amended as necessary to ensure residents changing needs are met. Changes to my husband's condition and care are always fed back to me. I always felt no one would look after my husband as well as I did, I have to say Westfield Care & Nursing Home are doing a pretty good job and I would not hesitate to recommend the Home.
Thank you for leaving a review for Westfield Care & Nursing Home, we are delighted to care for your husband as part of our family here at Westfield.
She had been suffering from mental health and anxiety. The changes to the care she received at Westfield gradually showed a huge improvement in her.
We have visited today for the first time this year and she is looking so happy and gained some of the weight she lost and even commented she is happy.
We were recommended Westfield, and congratulate the manager and the staff for the excellent care they provide, especially during these difficult times.

My husband has now been at Westfield Care & Nursing Home for twelve weeks. I’m extremely pleased with the care that he is receiving after the traumatic time that we both experienced prior to him moving there full time. The staff are very caring and kind to him and I’m so pleased that he is being looked after so well.
