Overall Experience

My father was diagnosed very quickly with a terminal illness and the family needed to find a care home that provided palliative care. I contacted Westfield Nursing Home and from the very first point of contact, the staff were brilliant, caring and professional. My father was always cared for, clean and tidy. He had a lovely modern room with his own toilet and wash basin, TV etc. The staff provided the care which allowed my father to maintain his dignity as he was a very proud man and were there to ease his passing. Family and friends commented on what a nice care home it was for my father. Thank you.

All staff and management are really nice and very helpful. My room is comfortable and spacious and I have all my own things in my room too. I enjoy taking part in the activities and events out. There are plenty of trips too. I like the food and drinks are always available.

A review took place on a Friday in October 2015. It was dealt with in a very professional manner. The carers had all the relevant information for the nurse from the hospital. I was impressed by the efficiency of the home, a folder was produced with all the information needed. It's quite upsetting to hear about mum, but I felt confident that everything was covered by the staff from the home.
