Lovely care home, all the staff have been very nice and very helpful, particularly the manager. Mum is being very well cared for, loving the food and all the carers. I feel really happy that she is being taken really good care of, which is giving me a huge peace of mind. Her risk of falling has ceased and it's good to see her so happy. Thank you, Westfield, you make a great team.

Since my Dad has been in the care of Westfield Hose he has become more settled. Although he still remains challenging the staff always take good care of him. The food always looks good and my Dad is always looked well cared for even when his behaviour is difficult.
Nothing is ever too much to ask.

I would just like to say thank you for caring for him.

The personal engagement from the staff at all levels stands out. It was a key factor in originally selecting the care home and experience has shown that our original impressions were well founded.

As well as providing us with reassurance of the care for our aunt, there has also been a noticeable improvement in my aunt's condition.

Dad came to Westfield Nursing Home straight from hospital. We were made very welcome right away. The care dad has had since being here has been wonderful. The carers are all very friendly and look after dad very well.

The food is excellent and although dad doesn't always feel like eating the chef always does him something that will tempt him.

My mother lives in Westfield Nursing Home and is always treated with warmth and kindness by all of the staff that work here. She has a high level of medical needs on a 24-hour basis which are clearly being met by the qualified medical staff. The chef and his staff have taken the trouble to speak to my mother about her diet needs and specially cater to them. She is treated with respect and dignity and is clearly happy with the individuals who care for her who she refers to as her friends. This speaks volumes about the people who work here. The manager, deputy manager and all of the staff are wonderful, caring, thoughtful people and knowing that my mother is in their care gives me comfort and peace of mind. They ensure that the nursing home is well run. I feel compelled to write this statement because I can sleep at night knowing she is receiving excellent care and this is my way of saying thank you to all of the staff.

Now that mum has settled she seems to have improved greatly since her move from her previous residential home. All due to the extra care and nursing she receives.

All the staff and management are very friendly and caring both for residents and visiting families.

My mother had a stroke in January of this year and was also diagnosed with dementia, our world fell apart as your mother is the most precious person in your life.
We did not know where to turn for help.
We couldn't think straight we were told she needed 24-hour care- we live in London - all thoughts and solutions go on in your mind, no clear thinking.

The hospital suggested a nursing home, oh no we thought, they are the worst places, we want the best.

We visit mum every weekend from London. All our fears about what you hear on how people are treated in a nursing home have gone. Every patient is treated so lovely and as a human, by all your staff- you should be so proud of that. We always see your patients happy and staff welcome us.

Yesterday we met your manager. He helped us with an issue with the council assessment.

Thank you from our hearts to all your team in Boston, your company should be so proud.

We were thoroughly impressed with the standard of care and attention provided to my mother-in-law and the way this was tailored to meet her very specific personal needs. Throughout her stay in the home, we never had any cause for concern and any requests for specific support were always taken on board and promptly met.

Review from Peter W (Nephew of Resident) published on 13 March 2017 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

All care homes at the end of the day are bricks and mortar. The difference therefore between the best and the worse care providers can only be the management regime and the staff employed.

The team at Westfield Nursing Home are led by outstanding managers whose professionalism permeates throughout the staff. Without exception, all the staff I encountered displayed outstanding levels of expertise and competence coupled with dedication and empathy resulting in a provision of care second to none.

I personally would like to place on record my thanks and gratitude to all involved.
