St Anns Care Home

The home and gardens have a really good feel to them, and the staff have all been extremely helpful both to my mother and to me. I have been involved in any major decision making. There seems to be a good team spirit among the staff. I have seen nothing but kindness and patience with my mum, who has advanced dementia.

Thoughtful and caring staff, sensitive to the needs of the residents. They keep us well informed in these difficult times and do their best with visiting. They have a very caring attitude to their dementia patients.

Once again, I have to compliment the staff at St Anns through the recent difficult times; they have been professional while still being loving and caring to my mum. Well done, St Anns.

Visited my dad today for the first time since he's been transferred to St Anns. I was extremely impressed at how well my dad looked; I haven't seen him looking that well and clean for a while (long before the illness). I am so grateful to the team, and I was well looked after whilst visiting - taking advantage of tea and biscuits. My dad seems settled, which is so reassuring. Thank you to all the team.

So far, we have been very pleased with all that has happened for her. We feel she is at peace with herself. All our troubles have been taken away from us, so we are very pleased with everything.

Very happy to know that my grandad is being looked after in a tidy, clean and organised facility with such caring staff. He always seems happy when we visit and says how much he loves his food there. Thank you for providing safe, clean and comfortable places for people suffering with diseases such as dementia.

Mum seems really settled in St Anns now, the staff are all lovely, she has enjoyed a visit to the garden centre and has recently been taken to the dementia choir Wellingborough. She really enjoyed this and hopes to go again soon.

Good care home. Residents look well cared for and treated with kindness and respect. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this care home.

The staff are incredibly helpful and my dad has and is being cared for in a very caring yet professional way which has helped him steel in quite easily. He is being treated kindly and with dignity and is also getting well-fed.

St Anns are doing a great job dealing with my mother who can be quite difficult. I had been unable, even with 4 care calls a day, to get mother to get up/washed and dressed. On my visits, mother has at least been persuaded to get up, get dressed and has obviously had hair shampooed. Carers are always very helpful to me and are both kind and patient to other residents during my visits.

The staff are caring, willing, understanding and cooperative. The premises are bright, clean, modern yet comfortable and homely.

Mum helped me complete this and wanted to put excellent on everything.

Her room was seemingly not kept clean in terms of the floors.

I find all the staff at St Anns very caring and feel they go over and above their duties. The home itself is a lovely place, well kept with a lovely garden.

Mum initially went into St Anns on respite, although she is now a resident, and has been treated with dignity, respect but most of all kindness, by all of the staff. She likes to be busy and the girls let her do "little jobs" around the lounge and make her feel she is really helping them. She enjoys all the activities, especially singing. I sleep easier at night knowing my mum is safe and well cared for.

I am now seeing a well cared for and happier lady and this, in turn, lifts a weight from me. Visiting is a pleasure, the team have supported my relative to become a dignified contented older lady.

Have visited St Anns earlier this year for Memory Cafe's and hubby felt very happy in the sessions so when care was needed for him we knew where he would enjoy being.
