Visited my dad today for the first time since he's been transferred to St Anns. I was extremely impressed at how well my dad looked; I haven't seen him looking that well and clean for a while (long before the illness). I am so grateful to the team, and I was well looked after whilst visiting - taking
advantage of tea and biscuits. My dad seems settled, which is so reassuring. Thank you to all the team.

Very happy to know that my grandad is being looked after in a tidy, clean and organised facility with such caring staff. He always seems happy when we visit and says how much he loves his food there. Mum seems really settled in St Anns now, the staff are all lovely, she has enjoyed a visit to the garden centre and has recently been taken to the dementia choir Wellingborough. She really enjoyed this and hopes to go again soon.

The staff are incredibly helpful and my dad has and is being cared for in a very caring yet professional way which has helped him steel in quite easily. He is being treated kindly and with dignity and is also getting well-fed.

St Anns are doing a great job dealing with my mother who can be quite difficult. I had been unable, even with 4 care calls a day, to get mother to get up/washed and dressed. On my visits, mother has at least been persuaded to get up, get dressed and has obviously had hair shampooed. Carers are always
very helpful to me and are both kind and patient to other residents during my visits.

Wife in St Anns for 2 weeks respite care.
I found the staff, in terms of health care assistants, very helpful and sympathetic. My contact with management was minimal - day of leaving only.
My main complaint is in connection with proper attention to my wife's psoriasis and seeming lack of attention
to the administration of laxatives (my wife only went to the toilet today 30/05/19).
Her room was seemingly not kept clean in terms of the floors.

Mum initially went into St Anns on respite, although she is now a resident, and has been treated with dignity, respect but most of all kindness, by all of the staff. She likes to be busy and the girls let her do "little jobs" around the lounge and make her feel she is really helping them. She enjoys
all the activities, especially singing. I sleep easier at night knowing my mum is safe and well cared for.

Mum has now been at St Anns' for almost four years. As her dementia has progressed she has in turn, being happy, sad, abusive, violent and clumsy. All this has been managed well by the staff with good humour and professionalism. It may not be the biggest, smartest or most sophisticated home available
some look like The Ritz but it's the staff that make it what it is.

I was initially very apprehensive about my nan being in a care home but the staff and managers were so reassuring and helpful. They really go above and beyond for both their residents and their relatives. They create a very happy atmosphere and treat the residents with kindness and compassion.

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2023

I started at St Anns in 2008, and in this time I have worked in various roles, including Kitchen Assistant, Domestic Assistant, Carer, Senior Care Assistant, Team Leader, Assistant Manager and Deputy Manager. After many years spent developing my career, I achieved the Home Manager position in September 2023. Throughout my time spent working in care, I have gained years of experience, knowledge and qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care. I have also completed the B&M Leadership Pathway in 2023.
