Mum has now been at St Anns' for almost four years. As her dementia has progressed she has in turn, being happy, sad, abusive, violent and clumsy. All this has been managed well by the staff with good humour and professionalism. It may not be the biggest, smartest or most sophisticated home available some look like The Ritz but it's the staff that make it what it is.

I was initially very apprehensive about my nan being in a care home but the staff and managers were so reassuring and helpful. They really go above and beyond for both their residents and their relatives. They create a very happy atmosphere and treat the residents with kindness and compassion.

My husband has been here 4 1/2 years. The staff are always very helpful and very friendly. I stay for dinner twice a week and more often if I wanted to. We always feel welcome when we visit and he is very comfortable, clean and friendly atmosphere.

Staff here always ring to inform us of any changes in dad's health wouldn't want him to be in any other care home.

I have been very impressed by the care home, quite the best for care, communication and consideration. As my uncle says it is the "little things" and having had very difficult experience at other care homes recently St Anns staff and cleanliness-attention were noticeably superior. Dining room tea, coffee spoons always in stock and tables cleared immediately. Very impressed.

The staff are very good. A recent meeting with the manager supported this view even more as she went to great lengths to help with my mother's pension application (Attendance allowance). The activities coordinator is always proactive and keen to develop new ways to entertain and enrich the residents. All staff are helpful and friendly whilst being down to earth with both family as well as the residents.

Having worked with several care homes when it came to picking somewhere for nan this was the nicest care home with the best staff and most pleasant atmosphere.

Nan can be very difficult at times and the staff are excellent with her, they also contact us if there is a problem.

St Annes is a lovely, homely 'family feel' care home. Everybody that comes or visits is made to feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble.

The standards are very high and the care is 1st class.

I own a private specialist, dementia care company and I have been visiting St Ann's for over 2 years. One of my clients from the community moved into St Ann's over 2 years ago and I have been visiting every day Monday - Friday ever since. The care at St Ann's is second to none and all of the staff are extremely welcoming, professional, approachable and caring. They know their residents very well and provide great dementia care. I have since recommended St Ann's to 2 of the families and people living with dementia that I work with and they both moved in approx 1 year ago.

My mum has now been at St Ann's for three years and I am very happy that they were able to take her all those years ago. She is happy, well looked after and due to her deterioration cared for extremely well.
Mum was quite independent when she went to St Ann's but is now totally dependent. Mum is treated with dignity and privacy.
The staff are amazing and never fail to keep me informed as to what is happening with mum.
I visit mum 2-3times a week, so I am fully aware of how much care and pride the staff take in caring not only for mum but all of the residents.

My mum has Dementia so it's not an easy job.
