Templemore Care Home

My Mother has been in Templemore for just over a year now and is happy and content there. She is well looked after and all her needs are met without any question or worry especially at this time with the pandemic.

Mum has been a resident in Templemore since April 2016. Although at times she was extremely difficult, argumentative and awkward she was always treated with the utmost respect and dignity. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and her family were always made welcome. Her last few days were much easier to cope with knowing that the staff were still on hand to support her family. Thank you to everybody who helped care for mum, and supported us last week.

The management and staff were always very kind and really helpful. They looked after my dad really well and I know that he is very happy there which meant a lot to me.

I would highly recommend Templemore to anyone requiring care services for their loved ones.

My mother was very happy during the month she spent at Templemore. She repeated several times how lovely all the people were, both staff and residents. Although a huge house it felt welcoming and pleasant from the moment I first walked in, the staff were very helpful and there was nothing to fault. Thank you for being so good to mum.

Just wanted to say a huge congratulations to all of the staff for their hard work on Thursday 27th June with the Alzheimer's walk. I missed the one last year as I was working, but was able to attend with my mum this time around and thoroughly enjoyed it. I really must mention the care staff....care homes and staff come in for a lot of criticism....but I can’t praise the Templemore team highly enough. There were a few very vulnerable residents attending the walk and needed some encouragement to join in, but they were so patient and understanding that it renewed my faith in human nature!!!!!! This treatment wasn’t just reserved for the few, all the residents were treated with the same patience and dignity. It was a lovely morning and the weather played its part too. Thank you!!!!

My Father in Law has been at Templemore in Cedars since November 2017. During that time he has been treated with kindness and care by all of the staff. He enjoys the delicious home cooked food and the activities that are available on a daily basis. The manager and administrator are always happy to discuss care with regular updates. Nothing is too much trouble.

Whenever I have visited I have been impressed by all aspects of Templemore Care Home. The staff are so efficient but caring and friendly. All the rooms are clean, homely and inviting and the residents are happy and occupied.

My mother has been a resident at Templemore for 2 1/2 years and throughout that time has received care, consideration and affection from all the staff. Whenever she has had an accident requiring attention she has received it promptly and efficiently. Thank you all.

Mum has been at Templemore since April 2016, first in residential, then Cedars 1 and now Cedars 2. As her needs have changed and increased, and her abilities and understanding diminished, her changing needs have been met with great compassion, allowing her to maintain a level of dignity. As a family, we couldn't ask for more

Visited my grandma today at Templemore with my mum for the Easter celebration. The entertainment was fantastic and grandma and I enjoyed having a sing-a-long to the different songs!! It was lovely to see relatives of other residents there enjoying the celebration also. All the staff were very caring and showed obvious warmth and regard for the residents. The food provided in the buffet was also lovely.

Congratulations on making Christmas in the care home comforting and jolly for mum. The staff went all out to make it special and it certainly was a lovely celebration throughout the month. We as a family would like to pass on our sincere best wishes to all of the staff who do an outstanding job to keep the residents warm, watered fed and happy. Happy new year X

The management and staff at Templemore Care Home have been looking after my father since May 2016. They have shown a very caring and professional attitude towards him and nothing is too much trouble. He is very happy there and the care home has a relaxing, calming atmosphere and is very clean. They provide plenty of activities for anyone who wants to join in. He enjoys the food and the variety.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Templemore Care Home for anyone needing care during the whole day. The home is spotlessly clean, the choice of meals perfect, and the attitude of all staff most caring.

Each time is visited mum in Templemore, I've been impressed by how caring and attentive the staff are and how well mum responds to them. They've managed to get her to eat when she initially refused and to calm her down she's been distressed.

The care home provides a very friendly atmosphere, it's extremely clean and well laid out. My mother became a resident 12 months ago, and I've not had one complaint, either from my mother or any of my family who visit her. We can go to visit anytime, personally, when I go, which is at least a couple of times a week, my mum always looks nice, dressed nicely, hair done, clean etc etc. The staff are always helpful, pleasant, and very caring, (with a smile).

I would definitely recommend Templemore, I would make it 9/10 only because nothing is perfect...but my mum is very happy !!!!

My aunt is not the easiest person to get along with and can at times be rude to the staff. The staff are never fazed by this and understand the reasons for the rudeness. Every carer I have met has been excellent and have proved to be considerate and kind at all times. The home is wonderfully clean and always smells good - one of my complaints of the previous home. Entertainment is first class.
