Very pleased, no concerns.
Thank you for your review, your feedback is appreciated.
It has a homely atmosphere. Residents are individuals. Staff are always welcoming. Communications between managers/staff and relatives are very good, always on hand to answer concerns. The rooms are very well-kept and tidy. Meals are nutritious and good selection of choices. The safety of residents is a top priority. When there, always keep informed when the fire alarm is being tested. It is a small home with the residents being a family. Well-run and high standards are maintained.
Thank you for your lovely review it is appreciated.
Wendleberrie House is a little gem and we are so glad to have found it. We viewed several larger care homes for my brother but when we viewed Wendleberrie House we saw such a contrast from the others. Because it's a small care home, my brother gets far more attention than he would in one of the larger homes. I have remarked to staff on the cleanliness of Wendleberrie House and was told it is given top priority which is easy to see. All the staff are friendly and very helpful and there is a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I would recommend this care home very highly.
Thank you, Eileen, for your glowing review, it is appreciated.
All staff are friendly and caring in what must be very trying conditions. Although the home is not the most modern, it is comfy and homely - a place that can be relaxing and friendly. I am very happy for my mother to stay where she is.
Thanks for your feedback, Paul, it is appreciated. Kieron
Mum coming to Wendleberrie House has been a great success. It has taken a few weeks for Mum to settle but we, as her children, are more than happy with the care and support every member of the team has shown her.
Thank you, Zara, for your kind words, it is appreciated.
Very good.
Thank you for your feedback, it is appreciated.
My sisters and I chose Wendleberrie House for Mum after looking at a few care homes in Wellingborough. It stood out from the others because of the small number of residents, the homely and family feel and the location. The care she receives has been wonderful and it has helped Mum's transition from living in her own home a lot easier.
Thank you, Kurt, for your kind review, Mum is a pleasure to look after.
I visit my aunty every three to four weeks, and I find the home first-class. The treatment she gets and the staff who look after her are brilliant. She loves it there, and I am glad she is there because she is well looked after. The visitors are well looked after.
Thank you so much for your review and kind words; it is appreciated.
The staff are friendly, caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. The management is always on hand to talk to residents. My mother-in-law fitted in straight away. Everyone is very welcoming, all the residents seem very happy there hence the reason to have mother-in-law cared for at Wendleberrie House.
Thank you for your kind words and feedback it is always nice to hear.
Very friendly staff, understanding of the situation. Good atmosphere safe and clean environment.
Thank you for your feedback, it is much appreciated.
Within the first few days of arriving at Wendleberrie House, I noticed a marked improvement on my friend and this is solely due to everything they produce for his wellbeing. He smiles all the time, has put on weight and loves to sing. He now seems a little younger than his 95 years. Should I need a care home myself this would be the place for me.
Thank you for your kind words and feedback - it is appreciated.
My mother has been at Wendleberrie House over three years, and the care she receives is excellent. The staff are helpful and caring. We would not hesitate in recommending Wendleberrie House, to anyone looking for care for a relative.
Thank you for your review and comments it is appreciated.
I am so happy with the care my dad receives, I know I don't need to worry about him, as he is very good hands.
I was his carer, but since his dementia diagnosis, he needed specialist care 24/7, which he now gets. I would highly recommend Wendleberrie to anyone whose family has a loved one needing full-time care.
Thanks so much for the lovely review, happy to be of help.
During the Christmas period, the staff did a spontaneous act of kindness which thrilled my sister. They took any resident that wanted to go on a short evening adventure to look at a festively decorated local street, in staff cars. Including a hot chocolate! Such a lovely idea. Always the residents are treated so kindly, even when they've become difficult and aggressive. Thanks to all the lovely staff we can enjoy hearing all my sister's happy times, still making memories at nearly 80.
Thanks for the lovely review its nice to hear your thoughts.
I live at Wendleberrie House, the best move I have ever made. The home, management and staff are second to none and are very helpful in our daily needs, both day and night. We have fun and laughs with our carers and they do all they can to see we are happy and content at all times. We have entertainments, exercise, music and meetings to keep us in touch with all that happens in the home. If any staff leave they soon wish to return again so that says it all really. Just come along and see us as always a warm welcome and a hot drink will be offered. 10 years later I am still here and now approaching my 95th Birthday.
Thanks for your lovely review, so happy to hear you feel this way.
Wendleberrie House is a very 'homely' residential home. I found that the home was always kept very clean and fairly well maintained. Staff are extremely pleasant, welcoming, very attentive and patient with the residents. The level of care/support the resident receives is very good and plenty of one-to-one care is given. The manager is very pleasant and approachable and any suggestions/requests are always taken on board.
Thank you for your kind words and review. You and the family are always welcome to pop in for a cuppa.
My mother left hospital last year and needed to move into a care home. She moved into Wendleberrie House and we couldn't be happier with how she is being looked after. Nothing is ever too much much trouble for any of the staff. Wendleberrie House is always clean, has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and is home from home for her. Our family is always made to feel very welcome, and we are always asked if we would like a drink as soon as we arrive to visit her. Communication is really good, and as a family, we are always kept informed of any developments or changes.
We wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending Wendleberrie House to anyone looking for a care home for their relatives.
Thanks, Steve that's great to hear.
The home is extremely clean and comfortable. All staff are approachable.
My mother is quite able, even though she has dementia and Alzheimers and would benefit by having more activities to stimulate her, but overall we are very happy with Wendleberrie.
Thanks, Julie.
The care provided by the staff is impressive. I would strongly recommend Wendleberrie House to anyone needing similar care.
Thanks Peter.
This care home offers a very high standard of care. It has a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. The surroundings are homely. Standard of cleanliness is very high. Staff and management are always welcoming. All meals appear nutritional and residents choices catered for. The bedrooms are larger than average. There are various activities arranged by management. Residents' spiritual and religious needs are catered for. I have observed all residents being treated with dignity and respect, even when their behaviour has been challenging.
Thanks for the lovely review Christine.
