Wendleberrie is a very caring establishment; a home from home. Staff are always welcoming and will go the extra mile. I would have no hesitation in recommending Wendleberrie care home.
Thanks, Ann, that's very kind of you.
Wendleberrie House was fantastic with providing respite for my Mum who suffers from Alzheimer's. The Manager was brilliant understanding Mum's care needs and we were confident as a family that Mum would be cared for and kept safe whilst at Wendleberrie House. Mum was treated with kindness, humility and involved in activities.
Wendleberrie House is a lovely home and you could say it is 'home from home' as it is a well-maintained home that is superb inside in terms of cleanliness and supportive friendly professional staff members. The respite room is comfortable and homely.
The Manager is approachable and delivered Mum's care to a high standard in conjunction with his staff. The atmosphere of the home is relaxed and has the feel of an extended family.
Thank you to everyone at Wendleberrie House for making Mum's respite stay possible and also for the excellent standard of care and kindness. Much appreciated as we had visited 32 residential/nursing care homes in Northamptonshire.
Thanks Marcia for your kind words.
The premises, whilst not modern, also help to promote a family home rather than a corporate care facility.
The food always looks and smells appetising. I visit frequently and at different times of the day, always unannounced and I have always been welcomed and offered refreshments.
I've never had any cause for concern for either my auntie or other residents.
Thanks Sue
We have booked lots of date for 2017 and plan to book many more dates in 2018.
Dad told everyone that he will be coming back. All the staff took the time to get to know dad and all the residents said bye.
Thanks, Debbie, glad he enjoyed his stay, see you soon.
Friendly staff answer the door and a cup of tea is always offered.
All staff are aware of exactly where each resident is and how they are feeling.
All staff members wear a uniform so are easily recognised.
Also impressive was how clean the home smells, each client is well dressed, hair done and personal jewellery put on.
Thanks Jackie
My father transferred to Wendleberrie House when the care home he was living in closed at very short notice. I was extremely concerned that this unplanned move would have an adverse effect on Dad's well-being. My worries were unfounded as the wonderful staff at Wendleberrie took time to settle him in one of their lovely new rooms. The atmosphere in the home is always calm and the residents determine for themselves whether they stay in the cheery bright lounge or retire to their own rooms. My husband and I visit at least twice a week and always receive a warm and friendly welcome. Dad is clearly content and well cared for and his move has been an unexpectedly positive experience.
Thank you Barbara
Wendleberrie is the opposite of the large chain care providers. It has a small, quiet, family home atmosphere and I have always found the staff, manager and owner readily available, approachable and very accommodating. Visiting is unrestricted and I have always been made to feel welcome.
The people living at Wendleberrie are well known, treated with respect and from my experience and observation are given genuinely personalised care. People are able to get up at a time of their choosing and are free to choose whether to spend time in their own room or in communal areas. There is a low turnover of staff and all have prior experience of caring. Extra special attention is given when people are unwell.
Wendleberrie has an air of calm order, it is well maintained and extremely clean. Laundry is done on site; clothes are well looked after. Meals are cooked fresh on site and choice and quality is very good.
I have no hesitation in recommending Wendleberrie House; it is a hidden gem.
Thank you Susan
My Mother was moved to this home from a very badly run home. What a difference, she was cared for excellently, staff were very good and treated her with real respect and dignity. Would highly recommend a lovely family run home.
Thanks Pam
Thanks guys, keep up the good work.
Thanks Hannah for your kind words, we will.
