Lever Edge

My husband went into the home in May with dementia I go to the home about 3 times a week and I am very happy with the care he receives. The staff always involves him in all the activities, he always seems happy.

The staff have been brilliant and worked very hard, making sure the residents have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Thank you. The activity coordinators have involved my mum, which is nice, as she doesn't come out of her room much, mum's choice. But doing her nails and feet in her room, make her feel pampered, again, thank you. The residents seem happy. They are always lovely and clean. My mum needs more care these days and staff are always there to assist her when I ask for more checks.

My mum has been with Lever Edge for 3 weeks now. The difference the staff have made with her in this short time is amazing! She has a new lease of life, thanks to the activities coordinator who keeps her busy and engaged during the day and goes over and above in her work. All the staff worked hard over Christmas to make it as lovely and festive as possible. Nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend.

My dad has a complicated illness and the staff treat him with respect and dignity and support both him and me and it is very much appreciated.

My mother moved into Lever Edge House on June 1st 2022 due to her dementia. Since moving into room 30, she has come on so much. She has a wonderful social life, lots of trips out and enjoying her life. I am so thankful for every member of staff who has made her life so good.

The staff are so caring and go out of their way to help residents with respect and dignity. Always have exciting activities, inclusive for all with cultures celebrated. Excellent social media updates. Always lots of food choices and drinks for residents. All residents well presented appearances - clothes, cleanliness etc. Outstanding. Nice, bright, airy and spotlessly clean. A well-managed care home with excellent staff. Thank you.

My mam is very well looked after. We are pleased with her progress.

Each time I visit the home I feel that my aunt is in good hands. Although she is very confused and at times doesn't know who I am, she is always well cared for and supported. She tends not to each much but is encouraged by staff to eat as much as possible and the food is always plentiful and quite appetising. There are daily activities at the home and trips out for those who are able. Overall I can find no faults at all with the care she receives in the home.

We have always been made welcome when going to see my husbands auntie (which is every other day). The staff are very friendly and obliging. They look after the residents very well and genuinely seem to be fond of them and will talk to them like family. Our auntie is always clean and dressed nicely and has settled since going into Lever Edge in January. We feel settled in knowing she is being well looked after. The staff put on varied entertainment which is excellent.

Mum has only recently come into the care system. I have some experience of care homes through work. I can honestly say that the staff here are the kindest I have experienced.

On my visits, the staff have been friendly and helpful. It is always clean.

Staff have been very supportive and pampered my friend. She seems much happier.

On arrival, the staff were very friendly and helpful in directing us to the lounge. Our resident seemed very happy and settled and had no complaints.

I feel that Mum has been very welcomed by everyone and the staff have helped her to settled into her new situation.

Staff welcome visitors and look after residents and make you happy.

Overall, we, as a family, are happy knowing she is in a safe place.

The staff at Lever Edge are always friendly and caring and can't do enough for you. The facilities are good, lovely big rooms and plenty of trips for the residents to go on if they wish.

This fantastic establishment for the residents always see them being well looked after even all the staff are so polite and every time I speak to them always get a warm welcome met a young lady really helped me with my experience as this was my first visiting my grandfather was a pleasure thankyou.

I attended an afternoon tea lovely event. The staff were wonderful and each time I visit it's the same excellent atmosphere happy and friendly.

My 94 year old dad had lived in his own home for over 60 years, after a short spell in hospital he was unable to return home. As a family the decision to move dad into a care home was heart-breaking, how lucky we feel that a place was available at Lever Edge Care home, the amazing staff cared and looked after dad in a patient and respectful way, as a family we were listened to and made to feel welcome, every member of staff did their best for us all. Sadly Dad passed away but we were able to spend his last week at his bedside day and night and with the help of the care team we got through a very difficult time with some smiles. Amazing caring people doing a very difficult job. Thank You x
