In my opinion Bankfield is a wonderful residential home, the staff are very caring and compassionate with my wife. She is very happy there.
We (myself & my daughter) are kept up to date with her healthcare and wellbeing at all times.

My dad has been at Bankfield for over a year, I am very happy with the care he receives, any concerns that I have spoke to management about have been dealt with. The home is clean and smell free, residents are encouraged to join in activities, relatives are invited to events which are put on regularly.
The staff do a great job are always friendly.

I have visited my uncle on a number of occasions, over the last twelve months. I have found the staff friendly and helpful.
On occassions, if my uncle had a fall or any information the staff thought I needed to be inform of they phoned me directly. Very pleased with this home.

I find majority of staff very caring his room is very clean airy & pleasant, food is made in house home cooked & fresh,
Many activities for residents to do, feel everyone should benefit from summer days out.
Seniors are excellent at spotting anything wrong or concerning.
Always greeted with a friendly
atmosphere, issues or concerns get recified quickly.

My mother in law has been a resident at Bankfield Care Home for 6 weeks .She moved in as she was constantly falling at home and was diagnosed with mixed dementia .Having looked after her ourselves for the last 2 years the time was right for her to move in.
It has been a truly remarkable experience
as she is a very private non mixing person.
She has settled in so well and is happy to sit in the lounge every day.The staff are very welcoming and she is clean tidy and safe.Thank you all

My dad went to Bankfield in early June 2024 and stayed until his death in mid-September 2024. I cannot answer if it was good value for money as all care homes are astronomically priced. That said the important thing is not money but the care he received and the character of the people providing the
care and I am happy to say that my dad was treated very well and the staff are very friendly, caring and professional. I cannot thank them enough for the short time my father was with them.

My mum transferred to Bankfield Residential Home from hospital and the care the staff have provided to my mum over the last few weeks has been excellent.
They have provided encouragement and support to improve her appetite and also her mobility is getting better and we can see her progress each time
we visit her.
Overall we as a family are happy with her placement and all the staff are excellent. Most importantly mum is really happy there.

My mother was admitted to Bankfield eight weeks ago, and from my first visit to now the care that has been shown to my mother has been incredible. Staff are very approachable and all questions (and I ask some daft ones, no doubt) are answered quickly and I feel immediately put at ease.
It's so relieving
to know my mother is in good hands and I honestly cannot thank management and staff enough for all they do.

My mother spent a couple of months at Bankfield Residential Home following a stay in hospital. She was well cared for with the staff friendly and professional. Rooms are a tad dated but are equipped for needs. Well organised, medications given on time and professionally dispensed. Meal times and standard
of food good, with mum saying she really enjoyed the choice with the catering team assisting with dietary requirements. Mum was entertained by staff and some residents! Areas clean, garden area small but well tended, communal areas plenty and smaller areas available for family visiting. 24-hour access by means of intercom. My experience was positive, my mum's more so. Staff are good, always busy but my mum received a good level of care which is the main thing.

My husband was admitted to Bankfield Residential Home eight weeks ago after having suffered a stroke and spending over three months in hospital.
The managers and staff welcomed him warmly and his care has been excellent. He enjoys the food and the sympathetic care of the staff. Visitors are made welcome
and if the staff are concerned about medical issues, a GP is available. Of course, he would like to come home but with his needs, that is impossible and he says he is well taken care of.

I find Bankfield Residential Home ideal for looking after and caring for my sister. She receives care and attention from management and staff. She seems to have settled in quickly with nice accommodation, food and treatment.

Since my father was assessed as needing 24-hour care and moved into Bankfield, the staff have gone above and beyond to ensure that he settled in well and is well cared for. The meals are freshly cooked and varied. There are many daily activities available should the residents wish to take part. The
home is clean and well-maintained. I have been, and continue to be very impressed.

Very happy with the standard of care given to my mum. I know the last CQC visit raised concerns, but the staff really seem to be working hard to rectify and make further improvements. Mum likes the staff, her room and the food. There are lots of activities and occasional trips out. The personal touch
of the staff makes a real difference to Mum and the family. Everyone is really friendly and keeps us informed about Mum's care and any health concerns. The structure of the staffing seems much more stable recently.
