Our biggest joy has been with a the staff and the way look after my mum with respect/love/& laughter.

I am extremely impressed with Bankfield. My aunt has been there since September and has settled in very well. The staff are really good, very friendly and professional. There are always plenty of staff in the lounges and a very good entertainments programme. It is spotlessly clean. It has a good atmosphere. At Christmas they organised a minibus to take residents out for Christmas lunch which my aunt really enjoyed.

Mum has been in Bankfield for 18 months now and we have no complaints. Since being in care, although diagnosed with dementia her physical health has considerably improved due to the level of care received. The events & entertainment along with the seaonal fayres throughout the year are evident a lot of thought & effort is put in. The food always smells good, mum is certainly eating well and after joining her & the other residents for christmas dinner, we can only say compliments to the chefs. The staff are very friendly, approachable & appear happy. The senior staff team always have time & are extremely friendly & helpful, answer all queries, make you feel reassured & keep us updated on all aspects of mums care. The owner/management team are always willing to listen to your opinions & action any suggestions you may have. All in all, we can say that Bankfield care home 'really does care' & cannot praise all staff enough & feel that we have made many new friends.

Jason the manager is so approcable as is all the staff. There caring is second to none I am more then happy my mum is lucky to have such good care

We (myself & my daughter) are kept up to date with her healthcare and wellbeing at all times.

My dad has been at Bankfield for over a year, I am very happy with the care he receives, any concerns that I have spoke to management about have been dealt with. The home is clean and smell free, residents are encouraged to join in activities, relatives are invited to events which are put on regularly. The staff do a great job are always friendly.

On occassions, if my uncle had a fall or any information the staff thought I needed to be inform of they phoned me directly. Very pleased with this home.

Always greeted with a friendly atmosphere, issues or concerns get recified quickly.

My mum has been in Bankfield Residential Home since January this year, I never thought she would settle into a care home but I am pleased with the care and understanding given to my mum who always looks well cared for and happy.

My dad went to Bankfield in early June 2024 and stayed until his death in mid-September 2024. I cannot answer if it was good value for money as all care homes are astronomically priced. That said the important thing is not money but the care he received and the character of the people providing the care and I am happy to say that my dad was treated very well and the staff are very friendly, caring and professional. I cannot thank them enough for the short time my father was with them.

Overall we as a family are happy with her placement and all the staff are excellent. Most importantly mum is really happy there.

It's so relieving to know my mother is in good hands and I honestly cannot thank management and staff enough for all they do.

My experience of Bankfield Residential Home was excellent. Everything was catered for, entertainment, food etc. The staff and residents were lovely. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

My mother spent a couple of months at Bankfield Residential Home following a stay in hospital. She was well cared for with the staff friendly and professional. Rooms are a tad dated but are equipped for needs. Well organised, medications given on time and professionally dispensed. Meal times and standard of food good, with mum saying she really enjoyed the choice with the catering team assisting with dietary requirements. Mum was entertained by staff and some residents! Areas clean, garden area small but well tended, communal areas plenty and smaller areas available for family visiting. 24-hour access by means of intercom. My experience was positive, my mum's more so. Staff are good, always busy but my mum received a good level of care which is the main thing.

On the whole, it was a good service. Pleasant staff who are very helpful.

The managers and staff welcomed him warmly and his care has been excellent. He enjoys the food and the sympathetic care of the staff. Visitors are made welcome and if the staff are concerned about medical issues, a GP is available. Of course, he would like to come home but with his needs, that is impossible and he says he is well taken care of.

Home clean. Staff friendly. Staff caring. My friend recently moved into Bankfield and you can see he is happy, and putting on weight.

I find Bankfield Residential Home ideal for looking after and caring for my sister. She receives care and attention from management and staff. She seems to have settled in quickly with nice accommodation, food and treatment.
