My mother has lived at Wellington Lodge for the last 10 years. I could not have wished for anything better for her old age. The dedication, warmth and professionalism, caring attitude and ethos of all the staff have always been exemplary. My heartfelt thanks to everyone at the home.

Staff are always very friendly and seem to have a good relationship with the residents. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and if the family have any concerns they are always addressed. My mother in law seems to be very happy and contented. Also, a very good plus is the 'social' activities that take place both outside and within the home. This is so vital rather than leaving the residents to vegetate.

My mum has been at Wellington Lodge since May 2017. From first walking in I got a feeling of happiness for my mum's care. The staff are happy in their work, they interact with all the residents. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The manager is second to none and always helpful. My mum enjoys the food which always looks good. Overall they are a credit to Anchor homes.

My experience at Wellington Lodge has been very very reassuring and comforting. The staff are professional and efficient and they take the time to show an interest in my background and family, every resident is treated as an individual and are cared for with the same amount of dignity regardless of age and circumstances. I would have no hesitation to recommend this establishment to any family or friend in need of its services.

We cannot praise the staff of Wellington Lodge enough. Our uncle moved there 2 years ago and is being cared for in a kind and considerate way. Although he is 95 years old, he has all his 'marbles' and his relationship with the staff is extremely important to him as a point of contact with people that those other residents with dementia can't provide. He is stimulated and looked after by the staff as if he were their elderly uncle. Thank you, everyone. You give us peace of mind.
