Wellington Lodge care home is located at the heart of the Cheetham Hill community in Greater Manchester. The care home is operated by Anchor and provides residential and dementia care for residents in homely and comfortable single ensuite rooms.

Wellington Lodge is proud to have achieved Veteran Friendly Framework (VFF) accreditation to provide personally tailored support for veterans.

There are a number of regular events and activities at Wellington Lodge and within the local community.

Wellington Lodge works with customers and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure each individual’s health and care needs are continually met. Staff receive on-going training to ensure their approach always reflects best practice.

The preferences of customers are always taken into account, which means regional and international cuisine often features alongside classic meals on the menus. Staff are always very friendly and seem to have a good relationship with the residents. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and if the family have any concerns they are always addressed. My mother in law seems to be very happy and contented. Also, a very good plus is the 'social' activities that take
place both outside and within the home. This is so vital rather than leaving the residents to vegetate.

The staff are friendly and polite. The home is very nice they look after my father and he is happy being here. They take him out and he has a laugh.

My mum has been at Wellington Lodge since May 2017. From first walking in I got a feeling of happiness for my mum's care. The staff are happy in their work, they interact with all the residents. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The manager is second to none and always helpful. My mum enjoys the
food which always looks good. Overall they are a credit to Anchor homes.

My experience at Wellington Lodge has been very very reassuring and comforting. The staff are professional and efficient and they take the time to show an interest in my background and family, every resident is treated as an individual and are cared for with the same amount of dignity regardless of
age and circumstances. I would have no hesitation to recommend this establishment to any family or friend in need of its services.

We cannot praise the staff of Wellington Lodge enough. Our uncle moved there 2 years ago and is being cared for in a kind and considerate way. Although he is 95 years old, he has all his 'marbles' and his relationship with the staff is extremely important to him as a point of contact with people that
those other residents with dementia can't provide. He is stimulated and looked after by the staff as if he were their elderly uncle. Thank you, everyone. You give us peace of mind.
