My mum could not get better care or attention than she gets at this care home.

Her room is very pleasant and well cared for and the home is a pleasant place to visit due to the excellent staff.

There is a friendly homely atmosphere at Ashgrove House. The staff are very attentive and caring and quickly respond to residents needs. However, they also maintain a sense of humour which the residents enjoy and respond to. The housekeeping, kitchen staff and events manager also contribute greatly to making Ashgrove House a good place to be.
Whenever my parent has had need of medical attention it has been sorted out promptly and successfully by the manager.

I feel really relaxed about my parent living there. I have visited many care homes whilst doing my voluntary work I cannot speak for all of them I would definitely rate Ashgrove as one of the best.

I visit the home every week and have always found the staff on hand to carry out their duties, which they do in a caring, friendly manner where appropriate with a sense of humour, making it a happy place to be.

I can't comment on the food because I haven't been there at meal times or value for money as I am not involved.

From the treatment my friend's dad receives I would be happy for someone I knew to reside in the home. The staff do an excellent job.

The management and staff are fantastic.
Nothing is too much trouble for them, they are all very welcoming and the atmosphere is always very happy.
The home itself is very clean and the rooms are kept lovely.
I feel very much part of the family when I go and my family member is always happy.

A brilliant choice and I would recommend it to anyone.

Both my mum and I feel part of a big family. I find all of the staff at Ashgrove House easy to approach and willing to help in any way they can. Any problems that my mum has had, have been dealt with care and understanding. Even when the staff are very busy and under pressure, it is never passed on to the residents or their families. I am glad to have found this happy care home for my mum.

From day one to present, I can honestly say that mum is happy and content, which means that I am happy. The staff are friendly and efficient, and they treat the residents with the upmost respect. All in all a good place to be. The food is good and they are rated as Five (hygiene)

Placing mum in a care home was one of the hardest things my siblings and I have had to do, but the staff at Ashgrove could not have been better. They constantly reassured us and would spend time telling us what mum got up to when we were not there. The staff are a wonderful group of people doing an amazing job for little pay and I admire them immensely. Most importantly mum is happier in Ashgrove than she was at home where she would spend many hours alone.

The staff and management of Ashgrove work hard to provide a safe and caring environment for the residents. They have a very enthusiastic activities coordinator, it would be even better if there were facilities for visitors/relatives to make a hot drink when they visit.
