I feel really relaxed about my parent living there. I have visited many care homes whilst doing my voluntary work I cannot speak for all of them I would definitely rate Ashgrove as one of the best.

Placing mum in a care home was one of the hardest things my siblings and I have had to do, but the staff at Ashgrove could not have been better. They constantly reassured us and would spend time telling us what mum got up to when we were not there. The staff are a wonderful group of people doing an amazing job for little pay and I admire them immensely. Most importantly mum is happier in Ashgrove than she was at home where she would spend many hours alone.
The staff and management of Ashgrove work hard to provide a safe and caring environment for the residents. They have a very enthusiastic activities coordinator, it would be even better if there were facilities for visitors/relatives to make a hot drink when they visit.
