My Grandma was a resident at Ashgrove House Care from April 2020 until her passing at the end of May 2021. Grandma was moved to Ashgrove House Care from an NHS rehabilitation home and instantly felt at home at Ashgrove House Care, which was a great comfort to me and my family. 2020 was a hard year for everyone but Ashgrove House Care made it as happy as it could be for us as a family. The staff would always take the time to sit with Grandma when we used to face time her as we were unable to visit her in person. They sent us pictures of her doing activities and on popular holidays such as Easter and Christmas, always made us feel like we were with her. When we are able to go and visit in her room, Mum and I couldn't believe how homely it was and how they had displayed pictures on her drawers that we had given them. They were like an extended family to us and we put our trust in them one hundred and ten percent in taking care of our darling Grandma. The staff were so supportive as Grandma deteriorated and we will be forever grateful.

The home is welcoming, friendly and cheerful. The residents are very well looked after, and their individual needs met wherever possible. Visitors are made welcome and visiting times very flexible. The property is easily accessible for visitors and residents and is well maintained. There is a good-sized car park and a small garden to the rear, which is secure for safeguarding purposes. We have been extremely happy with the care and facilities provided at Ashgrove House.

Mum has dementia but was fiercely independent. When she suffered a serious fall at home we had no option but to find residential care. The hospital said it was highly unlikely that she would walk again. Last week I saw her 'dance' and sing to 'New York, New York' - Amazing! A result of the treatment and attention she has received at Ashgrove House! We chose Ashgrove House because safeguarding was good and, because of the stability and excellence of staffing. The staff at Ashgrove House display that they invest in their roles and put the residents at the heart of everything they do. Mum is treated, not just with respect and dignity, but with real warmth, care and time given to meet her needs.

We cannot express our gratitude to the staff at Ashgrove for taking such great care of Mum.

My 93-year-old mother needed 24hr care after a fall and hospitalisation. From day one she was treated with kindness and respect by staff and the way she was looked after in her final days, after her condition deteriorated, was wonderful. All in all, Mum was in this home for nine months during which she was treated like a member of the family. We are so grateful to the staff. Family visitors always made to feel welcome.

I came to visit my nana today for the first time. The care home is really nice, the staff are so accommodating and professional and very caring. In what was a very sad and emotional time for us as a family, the staff bent over backwards to meet our needs. The care, compassion, dignity and respect that they gave my nana was second to none. Thank you to everyone at Ashgrove House.

Mum is very well looked after. There is always a good number of staff available and they attend to the residents needs straight away. The manager is always available when needed and the office door is never closed. I'#m happy that Mum is cared for and I'm very happy with this home and the staff. One other thing to note is that Mum has been at Ashgrove for 10 months and I rarely see a member of staff that I don't recognise.

The staff at Ashgrove House Care have cared for mum for the past three years. The hardest decision you will make for your family member is finding the right care provider. This was my dilemma 3 years ago. The staff at Ashgrove House Care became a part of our family, nothing is too much trouble and mum was so happy being with them all. They are all professional, compassionate, caring and most of all friendly and approachable. I cannot thank them all enough for the care they all provided.

The home has looked after mum so well, the staff are caring, kind and attentive. Everyone is so supportive and there is a real family vibe.

I am always impressed with the quiet and calm atmosphere at Ashgrove House. The staff are always professional and they never appear flustered or lacking control of the residents. More significantly all the residents appear calm, relaxed and content.

Ashgrove is a very happy and friendly home. It is bright and airy and extremely clean. All residents are treated with dignity and respect by the staff who are lovely, nothing is too much trouble. The staff greet you with a smile and they are always ready to have a laugh with the residents, even though they are constantly busy. Mum enjoys the food and has made friends at Ashgrove. She can go to her own room whenever she wants and is relaxed in the homely environment. It is also well run.

Please note I do feel all care homes are over-priced but have rated Ashgrove good in value for money in line with the cost at other care homes.

My family and myself are very happy with the care and understanding of my wife's problem and know she is in good hands.

Home always a nice atmosphere. Staff very friendly, always helpful, Manager excellent. Nothing is too much trouble whatever you ask them. Our mother is well cared for, happy, safe and content where she is. We as a family are all pleased she is getting the best care and help that she needs.

Excellent standard, very friendly staff who are always willing to help and very caring, hardworking and have the patience of saints. Just excellent all round.

After looking at number of care homes for my mother who has dementia and walking difficulties, we placed her in the care of Ashgrove House. This is an extremely well run home and the staff are caring and very attentive. The residents appear to be very happy and my mother has settled in extremely well. She is well looked after and her overall physical condition has improved a lot since she arrived there as she was struggling to look after herself at home.

This care home is homely and welcoming. Good management, qualified staff all very caring. Food is excellent. Good communication. Excellent facilities.

A caring establishment which is well managed and well maintained. Residents' rooms are bright and spacious and staff are always on hand to discuss updates or concerns and to keep you informed.

This was the first home we looked at for my mother-in-law and it stood out from all the others that we visited.

My dad has been a resident at Ashgrove House for 8 years. I am happy with the decision I made to have him cared for by the staff here as the standard of the home is excellent and the staff are very professional in their approach to care. I have no concerns for his welfare, that I have discussed with a recent visit by a charity organisation.
