Franklin House is a privately owned home situated on the fringe of Oldham Town centre. The services can cater for both male and females and specialise in caring for people with Dementia, while offering long term and respite care. The home offers spacious single room accommodation all at ground level. All rooms have en-suite facilities. There is a large enclosed paved courtyard in the centre of the home with raised flower beds and a summer house. The philosophy is to look after residents in the best possible way in a home from home environment, creating a lively, stimulating atmosphere. Family and friends are always welcome and will be actively involved in the care philosophy as much or as little as they wish. Activities take place every day and residents are encouraged to participate to their own ability.

The care my brother has received at the home is extremely good, all the staff are very efficient, helpful and motivated.
It is also very clean and the food is of a very good standard.
Also, it is nice to be able to take him in the garden for some fresh air and a chat.
I would be happy to recommend
this care home to anyone.

My father-in-law was a resident, he passed away in October 2017, the staff and management here are excellent, providing exceptional standards of care and support, not just to residents but also family. I would recommend Franklin House to others. Since my father-in-law passed away, I also volunteer on
a monthly basis.

On my mother having to go into a home, I was very apprehensive about nursing homes, but I can honestly say Franklin House and staff and management have really changed the way I view nursing homes. This is a great home and we are very lucky. Mother has come on a great deal since she went in there only

Franklin House is an excellent care home and the carers, management and all staff treat the residents with love and respect. It is a 'family' unit with the emphasis on top rate care, understanding of patient's mental and physical needs and provides a friendly, cheerful atmosphere in which the residents
live.
Good humour from all the staff is key to lots of smiles and happiness from the residents. Entertainment is varied and enjoyed by all residents.
Activities are plentiful for the more able-bodied and excursions are varied.
I cannot praise enough all who work at Franklin House.

Franklin House is a very friendly care home based in Oldham. My dad is currently there, he seems much better and has thrived since going in the care home. He is much happier and looks well. My dad is happier around people and on the 4th April there was a singer performer. He was absolutely brilliant.
He interacted with the residents and they were all singing and clapping and making them laugh, he was very entertaining. I have not seen my dad as happy for a long time.
