My daughter who suffered with mental health was a resident from Sep 2024 until her death in Sep 2025 .
Certain staff and ex manager purposely said mean things to upset her such as " we're getting you out/ evicted". Meals were not nice and often made her vomit / diarrhoea. I have photo evidence...
My daughter who suffered with mental health was a resident from Sep 2024 until her death in Sep 2025 .
Certain staff and ex manager purposely said mean things to upset her such as " we're getting you out/ evicted". Meals were not nice and often made her vomit / diarrhoea. I have photo evidence .Before this she often went hungry as meals were binned as she was out. Staff refused to make her a sandwich but other residents had meals kept in the fridge/ sandwich made. Her mattress was a thin sheet covering springs ( no foam) I complained for mths and finally Sep 2025 staff happily announced they had got her a new one. Upon opening it, it was evident from the stench and brown,blood colour that someone had died on that mattress. Not new at all.Again I have photo evidence. My daughter took her own life . Two days after her death the manager let a person into her room. He was on the BARRED LIST and should not have been granted access. He stole her belongings. Disgraceful

I am writing in response to the review you recently posted regarding the care your daughter received at our home.
Firstly, I would like to express my sincere condolences to you and your family on the loss of your daughter. I appreciate that this is an incredibly painful time, and I recognise that grief can be accompanied by many difficult emotions and questions.
I was saddened to read the concerns you have raised. Please be assured that the wellbeing, dignity and safety of every resident entrusted to our care are always our highest priorities.
As you are aware, there is currently an ongoing Coroner's inquest into the circumstances surrounding your daughter's death. It would therefore be inappropriate for me, or any representative of the home, to comment publicly or privately on matters that are subject to those proceedings. We are fully cooperating with the Coroner and will continue to assist the investigation in every way required.
I was particularly concerned that your review included allegations that members of staff starved your daughter. These are very serious allegations which have caused considerable distress to myself and our staff.
As these matters have not been determined through the legal process and remain subject to the ongoing inquest, I respectfully ask that you consider removing or amending those statements until the investigation has concluded.
Our staff are dedicated professionals who work hard to provide compassionate care to all residents. They deserve to be treated fairly while the facts are being independently established.
If, following the conclusion of the inquest, you wish to discuss any remaining concerns through the appropriate channels, I would be willing to meet with you or correspond further.
Once again, I extend my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family during this very difficult time.
