Auden House

My Mum has been a resident of Auden house for 7 weeks and she has settled in so well. I cannot fault the staff, the care they provide is amazing and they are so friendly and helpful. It has really put us at ease that my Mum is safe, settled, happy and receiving the best care possible.

Unfortunately due to work commitments and a busy family life I'm unable to go and see her as often as I would like but I know that she is being cared for exceptionally well. The home itself feels like a home . Very friendly and welcoming . The garden is amazing for my Aunt to wonder around . They even grow their own fruit and vegetables ! I can honestly say that Auden House have been amazing and supportive of my aunts needs . Every member of staff treat my auntie like they would one of their own family members . The food is another level - good cooked old fashioned proper meals just what they all like to eat . Overall I would recommend Auden House to anyone seeking a home for their loved ones . Having peace of mind is priceless

My sister in law has ben in residence at Auden House for six weeks. She seems to have settled in very well. The carers seem to be very nice and attentive to her needs. Because of her condition (Alzheimers) she is unable to respond to us with her point of view on her daily routine.

My mum has been in two care homes previously and at last third time lucky. She has been here now for nearly a year. The staff are amazing, they work so hard, nothing is too much trouble. I don't have a problem in approaching a member of staff or discussing my mum's care, they are so accommodating, even taking Mum to some of her appointments. Thank you all so much, it's lovely to know my mum is so well cared for.

I find the staff extremely helpful and caring. They have taken really good care of Mum and nothing seems too much trouble. The rooms and facilities are clean and the food is of a really good standard.

The care home is great, so glad I chose it for my mother.

I feel so lucky that my mum is a resident of Auden House. The care my mum receives is second to none. It's Easter time, as usual, the home is decorated for the event. The staff always go above and beyond whatever the occasion. The residents always seem happy with what is going on and my mum really enjoys chocolate!

Mum had a fall and surgery recently. The staff have been brilliant in rehabilitating her and getting her eating and drinking again. Massive improvement in Mum's mobility and health since she came back to Auden House. Can't say enough about these girls!

I find the staff very helpful and courteous and the place very clean. Always willing to help and if any problems, they let us know straight away. Couldn't be in safer hands.

Since becoming a resident at Auden House, aunty is physically healthier looking, happier and she feels safe, especially at night. Nothing appears to be too much trouble for the hard-working and pleasant staff.

We accessed a respite bed here for my mother when an emergency hospital admission for my father caused a breakdown in the home care arrangements. As you would expect this was initially traumatic and very disorientating for her. However, the superb staff team at Auden House provided the perfect level of emotional reassurance and practical support. Their skills and experience showed immediately upon arrival when our presence was clearly adding to the upset and confusion. They confidently interacted, distracted and refocused my mother's attention, and got the first smile of that day. The whole team's communication with me was great throughout the stay and when I picked her up, she physically looked the best I’ve seen her for months. On admission, we had tears as we left but on discharge, we had smiles and laughter.

I would not have my father anywhere else. Excellent home. Excellent carers. Would recommend them to anyone. When it's my time for care, I would happily stay there. Excellent home with excellent staff.

I find every time I visit, my mum is in great spirits. The staff are really good with my mum and she is really happy in this care home.

Auden House manager and all the staff are excellent and the care my mum has had is second to none, especially during the pandemic. She is very happy with her care from all the staff and enjoys her meals, which are very nutritious and tasty.

My Mum has been in Auden House for nearly 3 years. She could not be better cared for, all the staff are great and extremely caring. I couldn't have a better place for Mum if I tried. She is very happy here, wouldn't hesitate in praising the care and attention she is given.

My 95-year-old mother-in-law has been a resident here at Auden House for over 5 years now, and my wife and I would not want her anywhere else, and she is well and truly cared for here by all the staff. Their caring and diligence is exemplary in what has been a difficult period for everyone, with the pandemic and all its ramifications, and whilst we can only hope that better times are not far away, we know that the staff at Auden House have cared for our and other's loved ones with kindness, compassion, and love. The home is spotlessly clean, the food is excellent and the whole ambience of the place brings us comfort that our particular loved one is in the best care home in the area, if not the whole of the Manchester area, and our thanks go to all the team at Auden House for the work they do.

Whenever I visit Auden House the staff are always friendly, welcoming, and polite. I think it's commendable the way in which the staff have dealt with the pandemic whilst adhering to the rules but at the same time not wavering in their care and compassion for all the residents. As a family, we are so appreciative of the way that my Nanna is looked after and are extremely grateful that she is somewhere we know she is safe and cared for.

As a visitor to Auden House, you can't help but feel the happy, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The staff are caring, professional and they make everyone feel at home. We as a family are so pleased our relative has a home in Auden House. We know she is well cared for, her needs are met, she is safe and happy. She has improved in health, well-being and mobility.
