As a family we are happy knowing my aunt is being cared for, happy and well cared for. I have been a district nurse for 20 years around the area, I have been in many care homes therefore it was left to me to choose a home. I have been in Greenacres professionally for over 20 years. Greenacres was always the top of the list as I saw how well the residents were cared for. We were lucky to get a place there.

When a room became available at Greenacres we jumped at the opportunity.
This was based on testimonials from friends and relatives with previous experience.
Mum has settled in incredibly well and is much more like her old self. Levels of interaction between staff and residents is very high.
Furthermore the staff are great and appear invested not only in the residents welfare but the Home itself.
Communication all round is excellent and every time I visit I get a good feeling from the place.

Covid made a real mess of me physically and mentally. I was really lucky to end up here. And it's taken me three years to recover. I am still a work in progress. These wonderful saintly women refused to give up on me. I never knew such amazing people existed. God bless everyone who runs this place is what I say!

Mum had a respite stay for one week whilst my husband and I went away. The staff welcomed her and made her stay relaxing. Although Mum has got some incapacity she remembers most of the stay at the care home, with staff and residents with fond memories. We can't thank the staff enough, we will be looking to stay for further respite at the care home.
Kind regards.

I am very impressed with the care my mum received whilst in respite at Greenacres Care Home. The staff and managers were very helpful and gave regular updates on my mum. The home is very clean and the bedrooms are in excellent condition. The home has activities each day and my mum will now be attending for daycare.

Very approachable when looking for respite care for Mum and Dad. Very supportive and helpful. Quick to act and professional when assisting needs pre-admission. Helped with liaising with other health and care providers. Supported Mum and Dad physically, socially and emotionally through a very difficult time. Always available, responsive and supported me well too. Open, honest and trustworthy care staff and management. Warm and welcoming setting. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for long-term residential care, respite and day care for themselves or a family member.

My mum recently stayed here for a period of respite care. Everyone was so welcoming and very quickly helped to settle Mum in. Every single member of staff is so friendly, cheerful, kind and caring - nothing was too much trouble for them and they always had time to chat whenever we phoned or visited. It really helped us knowing that Mum was happy and being so well cared for. Thank you for everything.
