He said his room had been comfortable and on the whole had enjoyed his meals.
Thanks

My mum has been a resident of Thorley House for over 6 years and is now 96. I know she feels happy and comfortable at Thorley and this is a tribute to all the staff who are involved and who care for her. Everyone is so kind, caring and gives support with a smiling face. It's so reassuring to know that all mum's ongoing needs are being met with thought and compassion. I know there must be many other things going on in the background to ensure the home is well-run, well-maintained and spotlessly clean. Thank you, everyone.

The staff could not have been kinder to my dad or indeed to us. They showed great care and really tried to individualise that care for my dad. They got to know his likes and dislikes and tailored activities accordingly.
They were also quick to know when medical advice was needed.
We will always be grateful to the team at Thorley, led by Mel and Toni, who really helped our family at a very difficult time and treated our dad with great respect, love and professionalism

She will be 90 in June and has vascular dementia and altzeimers. Mum came back to life in so many ways when she became a resident. There are not enough adjectives to describe this wonderful place and its outstanding management and staff. All the staff fuss mum so much and adore her. There are activities at least 5 days a week which are so unique and centred around stimulation and fun. The grounds are beautiful. The communication from the team about mums welfare is fantastic. I was called to let me know mum had a cough and the doctor had been called but it was nothing to worry about. It is so valuable being kept informed by the team it just shows mum is important to them and so am I.
The staff are all so smiley and jolly and nothing is too much trouble. Its the team that make it a home and not just somewhere to live. Thank you all. Cathy

To everyone at Thorley House,
Thank you feels far too small for the kindness, patience, dignity and care that all the team at Thorley House have shown Mum over the past three years.
As Mum's Alzheimer's progressed, knowing she was surrounded by such compassionate and dedicated people brought enormous comfort to our family. You treated her not simply as a resident, but as a person - with warmth, humour, respect and genuine affection - and we will always be grateful for that.
Although Mum has now moved to a nursing home, Thorley House will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for every cup of coffee, every reassuring word, every smile, every moment of patience, and for the care and support you gave Mum each and every day.
Thank you so much for your kind and heartfelt words. Supporting residents and their families with compassion, dignity, warmth, and respect is at the heart of everything we do, and your message means more to our team.

My Mum has recently celebrated her 100th birthday in Thorley House and the staff went above and beyond to make this a wonderful day for her. Mum has been in Thorley House for almost six years and I feel so confident that she is getting the best care possible. I visited my friend without an appointment, along with another friend. The staff were very pleasant with us. Although she was in the lounge with other residents we took her back to her bedroom for a personal conversation. The bedroom was very clean and tidy our friend was brought mid morning coffee and biscuits. We were offered a drink when we were leaving an activities member of staff came to speak with our friend. Lovely experience.

she is having a lovely time there lots of activities and stuff to do every day we have never seen her smile and laugh so much, she's more active and so happy. Can't recommend Thornley House and all the staff anymore. They have changed my auntie's life and can't thank them enough.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're truly delighted to hear that your auntie is happy and settled at Thornley House. Your appreciation will be shared with the staff-they'll be incredibly happy to hear this.
My great auntie used to live 200 miles away and spent most of her days in bed in her own flat, we could only visit a few times a year due to distance so she had no one really only carers who went in for half hour 3 times a day, she had a fall a few months ago and we was told she hadn't long left and needed round the clock care especially with being late 90s, we decided to move her to Thorley House which is local for family and wow what a difference, she is living again and is very happy, I can't recommend this care home enough and all the staff are doing a great job they have activities in the day and trips out and my great auntie is more mobile and happier than ever which is a massive relief to the small family she has, we are kept updated with photos and videos on social media which is great to see so thank you very much Thorley House and keep doing what you're doing
Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We're delighted to hear that your great auntie is happy with her tailored care at Thorley House. I will pass your kind sentiments to the home team.
